    I received a notice from my employer regarding a garnishment in the amount of 1192.00 I made two payments online then set up additional payments to come out of my account. I spoke to an agent and they informed me that although i set up the payment the garnishment would still be in effect until the full amount was received. On 4/30 a check from my employer was mailed to LLoyd Mcdaniels . The payment portal fails to show the progress of my account. My bank account is still subject to payments . I dont know if they have received all of the payments. I called and there is no answer. I emailed and there is no response. I am a lost and need answers.

    *** ******* payments were received. The next day, 05/15/25, Ms. Lewis called
    and spoke with an employee of L&M. The notes from that call indicate that
    *** ***** was satisfied by the end of the call. Hopefully by now the referenced
    documents have arrived in the mail.

    For starters, I had a court ordered judgement that I was not aware of. My employer started garnishing my wages and I had no idea what for. I called my payroll department and they sent over the documentation. I contacted an attorney and he advised me to file bankruptcy. I don't want to file bankruptcy so I have been trying to contact ANYONE at this lawfirm/collection agency to pay this off. The balance owed when I call in is about 1000.00 MORE than what the judgement is ordered for. I cannot get ahold of anyone. I have left no more than 5 messages daily for over 3 weeks straight for someone to call me back. My garnishment was for 6586.44. As of today, I have had 1847.20 taken from my paycheck. I just want to get this garnishment paid as my bring home pay is so small that I cannot afford basic living expenses.

    “Cavalry”), to collect a debt owed by ***** *************** (hereafter “***************”).

    On or about October
    16, 2017, a default judgment was entered against *************** in the ***** ********* ***** of Summit County, Ohio. L&M subsequently filed a Wage
    Garnishment in attempt to collect on the judgment against ***************.
    After the Wage Garnishment was filed, L&M was contacted by an attorney that
    represented ***************. When *************** contacted L&M she was
    still represented by an attorney so L&M could not speak with her or contact
    her. L&M has now received confirmation that *************** is no longer represented
    by an attorney and will be happy to speak with her about the Wage Garnishment
    and the underlying Default Judgment.

    They are a law firm that is trying to sue me for a loan that is over 7 years old so legally they are not allowed to use me so I'll probably file a counter suit against them but when I call and try to get information about the whatever it is that they want they refuse to call me back, I have left 4 different voice messages asking for information and to have an attorney call me back but nobody there will tell me any information. I've asked the customer service people to have the attorney call me back and with the 4 voice messages also that is a total of 5 different occasions that I have requested that someone call me back but they are refusing to talk to me.

    I am filing this complaint to express my concerns regarding the ongoing issues I have faced with this law firm, which I believe reflect a pattern of unprofessional business practices.

    I was recently informed of a judgment against me from your firm. However, I was never served notice of this action, nor did I receive any documentation left at my residence. Consequently, I was completely unaware that I was being sued. To my surprise, I have now been notified that my wages will be garnished as a result.

    In an effort to resolve this matter, I have contacted your office a total of 43 times. Each time, I have encountered the same experience: lengthy hold times followed by a voicemail system that does not provide any opportunity for me to speak with a representative, On occasion, I attempted to reach your team by dialing a random extension, (217 to be exact) only to be misled by what initially seemed like a live representative. The call disconnects shortly after, which added to my frustration, after doing that a few times I realize that also a recording.

    Additionally, I attempted to reach your legal department via the email address provided *****************) in the certified papers I received regarding the garnishment. However, my message was returned undeliverable, indicating that the address does not exist or is unable to receive emails.

    Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to obtain any clarity or assistance regarding my situation. I also conducted online research and called the numbers listed for various locations, only to encounter the same difficulties each time.

    Given these experiences, I am left questioning how this firm continues to operate under such circumstances. I have noticed that there have been several lawsuits filed against them. which raises concerns about the legitimacy of their practices and the treatment of consumers.

    I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope to receive a prompt response that will assist in resolving my issue.

    We have received and
    reviewed the complaint.  We take these matters seriously and we appreciate
    the opportunity to respond.  Our investigation revealed that the
    consumer’s delinquent account was referred to our office for collection by the
    creditor, ******* ***.  A Model Validation Notice was mailed to the
    consumer on January 11, 2024, at the address on the complaint.  After
    hearing no response, the lawsuit was filed on March 27, 2024. On April 3, 2024,
    service was obtained at *** ****** address noted in her complaint. The summons
    was accepted by party who identified that *** **** did reside at the address. The
    judgment was then obtained by Default on August 13, 2024. A letter dated
    January 20, 2025 was sent to *** **** at the address noted in her complaint. These
    mentioned documents will be mailed to *** **** under separate cover. Our
    records show the firm had no communication with the consumer until May 1, 2025;
    at which time we spoke to *** **** concerning this matter. Soon after, *** **** submitted the present complaint. We encourage the consumer to contact our
    office should they wish to discuss further a resolution to this matter.

The only other person that comes to my home on occasion is my 11 year old niece and I can't imagine that your private services would have a child paperwork. The fact that it's almost impossible to getting in contact with this office was not address. i called the office at at 9am sharp om May 1st and was advise my attorney assistant that she cannot help me at this point. I offered to make arrangements and she said no

    I received a letter from this office for a debt I owe. I sent an letter to ask for the original creditor and to verify the account because it is wrong. I have not received any communication from them so I called numerous times. They don't answer and never call back. They are not honoring their own policies. I've seen online over 800 reviews with Americans facing the same issue. They are accepting payment but not giving updates on accounts and adding new figures.

    Pay off... There is no date of transaction, however I have tried to fix the issue. I was sent a letter just a few months back with a settlement agreement of $581.43. I have been trying to settle with them but they do not want to give any type of email of receipt of payment. You cannot speak with a manager only collection agents that are no help at all. They say that they cannot send any type of email. Please help.

    My husband filed his taxes, and received a letter that their was a garnishment against me? ( We file joint) I have absolutely NO clue what it is for. So, of course, we start making calls. Started with the courthouse stated on the letter, the attorney, and it named a company called **** ***? Got absolutely nowhere with any of them. The courthouse asked if I ever had any other last names... Yes. I've been married before, and my maiden name.
    I have never received ANY notice of ANYTHING, I don't know what this is for at all. I actually have ALL of my debt in a debt relief program. So I think I would know if I had another debit account somewhere. There is no account number for this, no phone number. The address for this attorney is actually down the road from my house and it's an empty building.
    I am disabled and I don't have ANY income at ALL. I have not worked in 10 years. My husband filed injured spouse. This letter is a complete shock.

    revealed that a civil judgment was entered against **** ***** (nee *********)
    on March 19, 2013, in the ****** ****** ******** ****** *********  The
    underlying debt associated with the judgment was originally incurred by **** ***** with ******* **** ***** account ending ***** which account was acquired
    by the plaintiff, **** ******** ****  The judgment has remained unpaid and
    an Income Tax Refund Garnishment was filed on or about October 7, 2024, to
    collect the outstanding amount due.  **** ***** contacted our office on or
    about February 21, 2025, and this was explained to her.  Her request for
    documents on that date was forwarded to the current creditor to respond.

    I had recently paid off a debt that Lloyd and McDaniel were overseeing. I called in, obtained the payoff amount and the next day I paid it. I logged back into the site and found that there was a balance of $5 for no noted reason. I paid it and immediately called back to confirm that the balance would be zero and I was told "we can tell you that - only your lawyer." I told them I had waived all legal representation but the woman didn't care and refused to confirm. Now I show my payment pending and still a $5 balance. This account should've been zeroed out last week after I called your employees to confirm the payoff balance. I need confirmation in writing that this account has been resolved.

    We
    have received and reviewed *** ********** complaint.  We take these
    matters seriously and we appreciate the opportunity to respond.  Our investigation
    revealed that a civil judgment was entered against *** ******** on June 13,
    2024, in Franklin County, Ohio.  As *** ******** indicated, the judgment
    was paid on or about March 19, 2025, and our firm filed a Release of Judgment Lien
    with the court, which requires payment of a $5.00 filing fee. The account is
    paid in full and closed.
    Based
    on our records, *** ******** has been represented by an attorney throughout the
    course of litigation on his case.  It is our firm’s policy not to speak
    with represented individuals.  We sincerely apologize if *** ******** was
    inconvenienced in any way.
    As
    is consistent with our firm’s practice, we are always willing to work with the
    consumer to reach a feasible resolution for all parties involved.  We invite *** ********** attorney to contact
