    Upon checking into my hotel room…. I noticed it was not clean and there was a mold smell. It was late and we were tired so I did not call . Later, that night approximately 3am my daughter tripped and fell. When I turned the light on I could see the flooring had a rise in it and the carpet was moist. We went back to sleep and when we woke in the morning the area was even more wet. It appeared there maybe a leak causing the flooring to swell underneath the carpeting.

    When I called to report all this ….. the manager ( I believe he said last name ****** 
    Told me I should have requested a new room.

    I explained that this happened @ 3am and in the morning and subsequently ,as we were getting ready to depart. He offered no apology for our inconvenience or my daughter falling on his uneven floor.

    Upon trying to use the restroom we discovered the hot water was cold, the faucet wouldn’t turn off and leaked constantly. The towels were stained . I did not feel safe using these spoiled linens. The hairdryer didn’t work. The electrical outlet was black and looked like an electrical hazard. I did not feel safe to even be near it - much less use this electrical device.

    There was not an outlet cover on the wall next to the heater. Luckily, I did not have a small child that could have accessed this electrical outlet. Very dangerous and irresponsible on the management staff.

    The microwave did not heat well and was dirty on the outside. The chair in the entry was stained and soiled.

    I am requesting a refund and Super 8 fix the flooring so no one else gets hurt.

To assist in reaching a resolution, I’ve informed the property’s general manager of the situation. The general manager will contact the guest on or before March 23, 2023. As a company, we’re committed to delivering a great experience with every stay with us.
