I recieved a fraud alert, the text stated I would be receiving a call from their fraud department. As the text said, I did receive a call. BUT the call had to be from overseas. I couldn't even understand the person. I asked to speak with someone else. NOPE. I would have to call back, and wait, when they are the one's who called me. Makes no sense. Why would a financial institution have their fraud department filled with people who sound just like scammers? I want someone from the USA, who can speak clear english!!! What are you guys thinking? Or maybe I just got scammed. Thanks a lot. What a horrible business model. This is a huge deal... protect against fraud by people who are unable to speak clear English??? Wow... just wow! I'm going to need to switch banks if this is your practice. Last thing... not only should someone in a fraud department, contacting clients in the USA, be able to speak clearly, its very important they actually understand english. Having someone handle fraud who is unable to comprehend the words coming out of someone's mouth is a big NO. I'm blown away by the greed of this bank. I'm certain the reason this has been contracted out is the save money... even though I am not happy about the poor service, they are still people you should be paying what would be paid to anyone else in that position who is not overseas or from another country. Maybe I'm wrong... maybe this was a one off. I highly doubt it, as it seems a high percentage of larger companies have decided to take jobs away from Americans to place them overseas to save a buck. Say what you will, but we all know it's about greed and not about providing good service. You can lie and repeat what you've been told to say in these situations, but the truth is always clear. It's only making things better for the 1%ers... for them to make what they CAN, CAN what they get, and sit on their CAN! Congratulations.

Decent, stable, no-nonsense hometown bank, no gimmicks, low (or no) fees. Nice, respectful, thoughtful, accommodating staff (if you go to your local branch often enough that they get to know you).
Been a customer for over 15 years. I've tried several banks (local and national, sometimes simultaneously). This is the only one I've been comfortable with. (Beats the H3LL out of dealing with the national / regional banks, like WF and Commerce.)
WORD of CAUTION: They just (March 2023) hired a new Exec. V.P. from **** **** (a bank with poor reviews by the BBB and its clientele), and she's supposedly an expert in banking "innovation". Watch out for new fees, hassles and gimmicks.
