Clinical instructor sends you home , when THEY feel that you are sick even though you tell them you are fine and you're not sick . This causes you to have to make up hours that could've been prevented . ************************** tells stories to nursing instructors that she scheduled a clinical make that you were never aware of, so you get told that you missed a clinical make up day. ******************* gets to make up his own clinical hours and report that you are doing a full 8 hours each weekend when that's fraud. So it's okay for the school to commit fraud but when a student is late or absent they get punished ? You report to the school **** ************* and there is no resolution, then go above his head to the *********************************** and still no investigation. Save your money and go somewhere else if you can , this place seems cool and they run their own fraud / scam ring for Vocational Nursing. The nursing board will be notified of this as well because this is not ethical , nor is it the right thing to do.Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. Response

Concorde believes that feedback is a gift and takes any comments seriously. After investigating the student's concerns and communicating with the hospitals and clinical sites, none of the student's claims could be validated. We are proud of maintaining compliance, and the decision made for this case was based on the attendance policy per the college catalog. We encourage the student to reach out to Sr. ******** of Student Affairs to discuss this matter further at ************. We'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you.Review from Katrina C

The director of admissions at this ********* location was very rude when I had spoken to her, only a few times regarding my application process to this program. She was very unclear about explaining the admissions process to me, and when I asked her questions she had a very rude tone and its just unacceptable. It seemed like she just expected me to know how this works, and I was bugging her for asking questions. She explained to me that I had been waitlisted, and by explaining this she rudely said, you dont have a seat. With the worst attitude. Speaking with her completely took away my interest for the program and the school all together, so now I am furthering my education elsewhere. When I asked for advice on what I can do to maybe reenroll, she told me the chances of being accepted were very slim. She made me feel very discouraged when I was initially very excited to start this program. I hope nobody else has to experience this with her specifically, because she really did make me feel discouraged and hopelessConcorde Career Colleges, Inc. Response

Thank you for informing us of this recent complaint. Ms. ****** applied for admission to the Vocational Nursing Program at our campus. This is a limited enrollment program which receives more potential applicants that can be accommodated. Our Director of Admissions **************** did contact Ms. ****** to inform her that she had not been accepted into this cohort. When asked what she could do in order to have a better chance to enroll in the future, **************** advised her that it would be best to re-take the entrance assessment in order to get a higher, more competitive score for the next starting class. We are sorry to hear that Ms. ****** felt that a representative of Concorde was rude or discourteous to her, as we place a very high value on customer service and respectful communication. If she chooses to apply in the future, we would be happy to work with her towards her future goals in healthcare.Review from Talecia H.

Im a Respiratory Therapy student at Concorde Career College here in *******, **. This school is taking our money and not providing adequate education to pass the course or state board exams. an investigation to see why we cant have more class time needs to be opened. Why are so many student failing? Are the graduation rates fabricated in order to boost enrollment? Is Concorde a scam?Last semester I requested a grade audit attempting to find the 1.5 points needed to pass RT230, nothing came of my request even after following protocol and escalating my issue to the President of the campus. There are 5 critical courses needed to pass this program, Ive made it to the third class and have come to a startling stop. About 90% of the people in the class are taking it for a second time. Weve reached out to instructors for additional help and have asked for more assignments and lectures in hopes of understanding what we may be missing. Were met with excuses as to why lecture time cant be added to the course and no additional assignment can be given even tho the entire class is failing.Completely not worth the cost of going, finically or time wise. Might as well have enrolled in a four year college.Review from Mercedes R

Overall not really the greatest school. They try to give their most greatest impression when you first start. All that c*** about they claim to help with is a lie. Only thing that is true is handing out some condoms. They say the success coaches are there to help you if you feel any struggle. I have only one week left of classes and then internships. Which people may see, well you finished. But my point is don't give an impression of the school, and then not follow through on it. I've had to pay for things that I know I shouldn't even have to pay for. Because them success coaches don't answer for shit! But its cool Im almost finished. Just want to put it out there that this school is a lie, and lastly the admission representative ******************************** is very rude. And based on interaction with her I really did not even want to enroll. Its all good. just not the best school. This review is for memphis concorde.Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. Response
