I am rejecting this response because: everything she stated in her response was a lie!! I have my phone calls documented.  I also did not know where my car was for 2 days since no one called me to inform me of where it was!! I had to find it through social media. When I talk to her the very first day that I discovered where my car was she told me to get it registration which I did and confirmed that it was my car. I then told her that I would have to wait a day or two to come up with my title to either find it or get the money for a new one. So filed for a speedy title which cost me $42 like she told me to do at the time we spoke. she told me my price to get my vehicle out was $450 that day not $225.. and that I would have to sign over the title which I had no problem doing. But by the time I got my title she told me that she already did her paperwork days ago. Which she had a mechanics lien put on my vehicle by 11/15/24 when she stated in her response that she picked up my vehicle on 11/11 at 4:00 a.m.. not once did she tell me there was no property in my vehicle she keeps giving me the runaround about prices first she told me $60 to get my stuff out after she told me that my title was now VOID, I spoke with the police department they told me that she indeed did have to give me my belongings back so my husband and she then told him $160 to get my belongings out. There were two prescriptions of medication in that car and speakers and a lot more belongings I'm going to get in contact with the police department for their inventory when they called it in, because clearly Vics cannot be trusted. Every single thing she just stated in her response was a lie never once did I call and yell at anybody or cuss at anybody. I just want my belongings back & my plate that I know for a fact was still on the car. This is unfair and definitely not legal I will be hiring a lawyer. I can't believe it is hat difficult to just give me my belongings back from my stolen vehicle.

he time to even sign over my title to her knowing my situation and the fact that I was now on foot to do all of this because I no longer had a vehicle since it was stolen. I thought legally she had to give me at least 15 days to claim my property and she already had a lien on my title 4 days after it was recovered. Even after speaking with her and telling her what was going on.

we got this car on 11/11/23 @ 4;09am i told her to bring in her title in she said she cant find it , she called at 2 pm same day( she knew exactly where the car was cause they have to call her when it was recovered ). so i told her she would have to pay the 160 paperwork fee she didnt agree , & she stated she had stuff in the car but how does she know that if the car was stolen ,   all she can do now is take the car & pay the total bill, im tired of being cussed at by her man & the calling & hanging up & threatning our establishment. she called same day 11/11/24 she knew it was here but didnt have car insurance , nor did she want to pay the ****** bill at the time , so i told her to sign the title over , she stated it would tske 2 weeks , i told her the car cant sit here undocumented that we would file our own paoerwork $ she would be reliable for that fee , which is cheaper than the original bill, there was no communication for 1.5 weeks .i checked with police only thing that was in the car was a phone & sjcpd has that phone. this whole report is cause she mad ! she wasting peoples time. over the car if she would have had insurance they would have paid , or she could have signed her title over but police states no property was in the car , she never even had the registration to prove it was her car . i cant wait 2 weeks for a title to be obtained while the car sits to rack up more money . at this point in time all she can do is pay the whole bill & take the totalled stolen , no insurance having vehicle with her . the sbpd & county pd said there was nothing but a phone recovered , it was stolen so if that stuff was in there it wasnt when the car was recovered .

                                                                                                            thanks for your time ,

all you can do now is come & get your vehicle & all its contents , we have to file a lien in a timely matter , if you would have had insurance on the car ur insurance would have paid for it , so the bottom line is come pay ir bill take ur car with you . we have an attorney as well . nothing that i said was a lie & sbpd knows more about that "theft" than you know . & if the car was stolen 9x out of 10 the property gets removed by whoever stole the vehicle i refuse to argue over this any longer . see you in court .
