5 starsRV Manufacturing is a huge undertaking, with this company it has been clear to me that they take it very serious. Once the process of a through Pre Delivery Inspection is complete the unit is ready for the customer. I feel this step is critical and why Grand Design is so far ahead with customer service. They are available for questions and have put together a wonderful owners portal with tons of useful information. Each unit will be cared for differently but with proper maintenance it will last!Grand Design RV

1 starPurchased a Solitude 5th wheel in 2021, within 2 years, heater in the seat goes out, molding in the bathroom comes off, water pump goes out, hot water heater goes out, LEDs in the awning only come on half way, monitor panel goes out. Grand Designs says tuff luck, you're out of warranty. Purchase it because of their reputation for quality and customer service, boy was I wrong on both accounts!Grand Design RV

According to our records ************ purchased the ** May 15, 2021 and had zero warranty claims during his ownership. He then phoned our customer ****************** on 6/16/2023 (more than 25 months after purchase and over one year after his warranty expired) regarding the LED lights and monitor panel. While we could not authorize any repairs under the terms of our warranty, we suggested he work with his nearest or selling Grand Design RV dealer as they could address his concerns best as they are familiar with our products and would have the resources to more quickly obtain replacement parts if needed. He hung up on our representative. We are very sorry he was not happy with his interaction.Review fromKathy H

1 starGrand Design's products are not what they claim. Our camper was delivered in April. Since that time we had 2 windows replaced. The window replacement was over an 8 week period. Now it's the 1st of June we are camping for the second time. That's right second time and the refrigerator stops working. Yes that is right!! So the fridge stops working and I have melted ice cream not to mention spoiled food! Don't buy a Grand Design! It's been in the shop more then we've used it!Grand Design RV

1 starWe purchased a 2022 Transcend 240ML in September 2022, took it one week later to *********. Second day A/C quit working, had to fix it myself, notice the **** was not laying right, window made a horrible noise when opening and closing, some outside trim was falling off, electric brakes quit working on the way home, refrigerator door would not stay shut, lost some food. Took it back to where we bought it, they had it for a few weeks and said everything was fine, towed it back home just to find more things wrong and some old problems still there. Spoke to Grand Design and the representative told us to take it to another repair shop which we did, they had it from November 2022 thur April 2023, we had to cancel 2 camping trips. The new repair shop said they fixed the A/C again, replaced the refrigerator( I am sure they did because the area around the refrigerator was scratched up), worked on the brakes, said they wouldnt touch the roof. Once we had it back home again we found more problems, roof had a tear in it, scratches by the refrigerator and the refrigerator is not installed properly, not *** if the A/C works or not, electric brakes still dont work properly, and a few other minor things. I told Grand Design that this was the worst built camper I have ever seen and it would be best if they would give me back what I paid for it and I wouldnt pur*** anything thing else, Grand Design wants me to have a mobile repair technician repair the brakes on site then Grand Design wants to tow it to the factory to replace the **** and do the other repairs. We have owned several travel trailers in the past and this one is the worst one sad to say. I believe the best thing for Grand Design to do is to buy this camper back from me. We have had it since September 2022, used only once and we are not going to be using it at all, going to use a different camper because we do not trust this oneGrand Design RV

We have an appointment to repair Mr. Bower's unit here at the factory and he actually had told us he traded his Grand Design in on another brand. Later he said he just bought a different brand and still owned this camper.
We feel that we deserve a chance to make repairs and honor our warranty on this vehicle.

First let me say that I did not imply that i was trading this camper off. I said we bought a different unit so that we could go camping in a safe unit. it was two repair shops, 5 months without a camper. i believe that was ample time to repair everything correctly. A $35,000 camper that looks like it was put together in a few hours. I still feel the best thing would be to but this camper back and the case would be closed.Review fromJames H

1 starWe bought 2023 Imagine by Grand design. My wife and I are not very happy with this $55,000 piece of junk. There is no way I could list all the things that are falling off, breaking, stopped working, and never did work from the beginning. Tried to get four things fixed. The dealership that sold us this thing had it for nearly 2 months and called said it was ready. Took it home and more things broke. I looked over the things we asked to get fixed, and they never fixed it at all. Hooked up water, and the whole place flooded. Had to take it back 200 miles to the dealer to get that fixed. Still have some water seeping from fitting that the dealer replaced. 3 weeks into march, and the furnace stopped working. Had to use a space heater to keep us warm at night. I did not sleep well. I hate space heaters. Called Grand design about the warranty issues and, like the others, was treated with condisention. Was told that she would talk to the dealer and later told me they would contact me soon. Two weeks now and nothing. Looking for legal help now.Grand Design RV

1 starI bought a toyhauler online and paperwork was sent via mail with check for downpayment along with financing to the dealership. We drove from CA to pickup a Brand New Toyhauler in ******** at Cousins RV. After 2 days of driving we arrive at the dealership and no one greets us. After hours of standing around, my husband and I go to the back of the building to see the Toyhauler on our own. We see that they had the full frontend off and were resealing it, which was done very poorly and seemed rushed ( probably b/c they were trying to hide it from us). Also the molding around the doors was installed poorly and none of the joints were touching. The Toyhauler was very dirty and people were scrambling to fix stuff. The Toyhauler was missing tons of stuff, Ladders, TVs, Bedspread, Mattresses, Tiedowns. We were there for hours in the freezing cold waiting and waiting. They had my money for over 2 weeks and knew we were on our way to come get the trailer 3 days before. Looking back there is NO WAY this trailer was Brand New. We left with several things still missing and we were finding more and more issues as we got home, the paneling in the garage was coming disconnected, the garage sliding doors and connecting points were damaged, the pulldown curtains were damaged, the thermostat in the bedroom was not working and there is some sort of leak with the propane whether it be the hose connections or the tanks themselves. The dealership sent a bad check to the **** "I have been getting the run around" From the *** to Connexus Financing, Cousins RV dealership for Parts, Contract and Reg. I reached out to Grand Design 3 days ago and no return call as well! The financing *** started adding on ***** for over priced insurance. I explained the situation to them and they only offered me defer payments and sticking the insurance on the end of the loan. Now my Credit is getting ruined on top of everything else. 7 Months Later I Still have a INOPERABLE pieced together Toyhauler!Grand Design RV

2 starsWell Im approaching 1 year of ownership of my 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2400BH. I researched for a couple years before deciding on Grand Design. Im disappointed with my purchase. Thankfully Im a capable of fixing most things because I just spent the last year tidying up or plain rebuilding the craftsmanship in my RV. Here is a list of replacements or repairs I have made in no particular order: hot water heater, furnace, heat/air ducting, bunk bed framing, 110 power outlet, USB outlet, bent (from dealer) black tank handle, led front cap lights peeling off, under body enclosure mounting screws torn form enclosure material that was trimmed to short in many places, interior trim falling off, kitchen counter peeling, swintech slide problems, split wooden framing from poor construction/drilling that was just left because is was hidden, screen door latch, pass through storage latches, pass through storage door bent, rear ladder leaked and froze causing it to split open, solar panel wire connecters were dry rotted from dealer, propane fittings, holding tank metal hangers installed incorrectly, ALL MANNER of poor caulking (inside/out) (pin hole leaks), led ceiling light, I dont think a single s**** in this RV was seated flush. Anytime a hole was drilled, a pass through cut out, or a wire was cut the debris was just left where it fell. This is not an exhaustive list but you get the point. Nightmare. I gave two stars cause it hasnt killed me yetif it does Im gonna come back and remove a star. Tried warranty claim last fallreceived a few auto replies and was given a case number once and then they quite replying. So I decided I was on my own and paid out of pocket so the repairs could be made in a timely and correct manner. I dont expect to hear anything cause I dont have a ******* channel, nor would it matter at this point, the repairs are complete. I basically rebuilt your RV and Ill be telling everyone I see. I truly mean this review to help GD. Thanks.Review fromDeb K

1 starI called Grand Design due to a bubble in the roof of our brand new 2023 momentum that came that way from the factory , and the women who I spoke with who is supposed to be customer service was so rude and condescending, yes, I was upset and frustrated, but, they need to train their staff better on how to speak with clients in a more professional caring manner!Review fromChase E
