    Purchased an extended warranty through Sony's website, company is making it literally impossible to file a claim: 1. The "File a claim" section on Sony's website won't work 2. No information available on Google 3. Finally get the number from Sony, Person answers, tranfers me back to sony 4. Call a second time, after 2 hours I am now told (by the same person) that I need to provide pictures of the product. The product is at the repair shop as instructed when I contacted Sony with the problem 5. Am told to get the camera back from the shop so that I can take pictures of the non-existent damage 6. Refuse to call the repair shop that SONY TOLD ME TO SEND IT TO 7. Ask to speak to a supervisor, am transferred BACK TO Sony As a professional that relies on this product for my livelihood, I am absolutely disgusted

    AIG warranty is a scam do not purchase it, I have been without my wash machine for over a week, I have spent 2 days on the phone with Maytag and AIG and both of the companies have a phone service that puts you in a circle and you wait and wait and no one comes on the line, then I did get ahold of 4 different people one day and every time I gave all my info the phone would disconnect it was so irritating. Then I did get ahold of a guy and he told me I would get an email letting me know if they could fix it. So 3 days later I get an email that says I need to get an estimate and a list of parts and then email that to AIG and they would send the parts to the repair place, how long would that take.. so today I got email that says they have no one in my town to fix it. So I got on the phone with a local repair man that we purchased the machine from and they will be out Friday. I called AIG all day today again and got tossed from this person to that person and am so frustrated with this merry go round, I finally talked to a manager and told her I was going to get it fixed and send them the receipt and she informed me that that is not how the warranty works, I asked her what kind of stupid warranty was this and told her no I’m not waiting I am getting it fixed and I want my money back for my warranty and she said yes they could do that but they will deduct money and it will take up to 30 days to get some money back. I told her to do it and I bet I never get my money back. This service plan is a scam and Maytag should be ashamed to be associated with this place. The BBB should look into this place and get our money back and also for our time and frustration they have put us through.

    I personally have over 10 service calls related to my Fridge. It was deemed that it would not be repairable due to the part that is causing the issue. I was told that I need to have the original receipt in order for a replacement to take place, I informed them that it was not available as it was lost when my basement flooded. I was told that they would give me "Market Value" since I didn't have my receipt. That claim was denied. It was stated that they denied the claim based on noise. The LG technician stated to them that the issue was the base and it was causing noise so loud you could hear it as you walk into the front door. After looking at the BBB and ****** ratings, it seems this company is a scam. I am looking at having litigation filed against the company and trying to contact the local news to see if they can do a story. They are continuing to lie, posting responses that they are contacting customers and resolving the issue when indeed they are not. Lucky enough I have recorded every conversation with their "support" and have proof of the lies that come from this company. LG should be ashamed to be associated with this company. There is not ONE good thing anyone has to say about this warranty company. I will use every avenue available to get this company exposed. I am very tempted to just drop off my fridge directly on the front door step and call the news when it happens. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! Stay away!! Look at all the google and BBB comments before you make your decision.

    I have called AIG and there phone system has been out the three times that I have called, Asking to call back in 2 hrs. This was all before COVID. And NOW 2022 its even worse than before. Whirlpool came with the house but I would consider another product given the choice. Zero stars but rating would not go that low.
