      I would avoid them like the plague. We received an email 3 weeks ago saying our claim was approved and would be paid within 10 business days. That never happened. We called them today and were told we would be receiving an email today that our claim was approved and we would be paid in 10 business days....the same email we got 3 weeks.... interestingly we haven't received that email. When we called customer service we asked to speak to a supervisor. about when we could expect our claim to be paid... apparently they aren't ever available....only the reps who don't seem to have any information. The overarching impression is that they are happy to take your money....but delay as much as possible in paying a claim. I would NEVER EVER use them again.

      I bought an international medical insurance package for my wife and I for a trip to ****** in 2022. I had an ER visit in May, for which I didn't receive a bill until December 21, 2022. The bill was not even printed in France until November 21, 2022 - international mail isn't fast.I filed my claim December 22, but was denied because it was past the 180-day window for filing a claim, which was 2 days after the bill was printed. I observed that it wasn't possible to file a claim if I don't have a bill.I highly discourage using this company for international medical insurance coverage.

      International Medical group (IMG) is a useless travel insurance Co. Our flight (5 people) was cancelled from *******, ******** on Dec 28, 2022 less than 24 hours of departure. We could not find flight in next 4 days. i filed claim for trip interruption which was denied. I thought IMG will do an honest assessment instead they sent me a long email of denial saying that this insurance holds certain terms and conditions. This is a joke. This insurance company take advantage of innocent people. I am very disappointed. I will never recommend IMG to anyone. Please don't get travel insurance from them.

      My mom used their visitor's insurance to get treated for a stomach pain and they denied the claim citing pre-existing condition. I offered to share her full medical history provided by her primary care doctor to which they terminated my chat.

      We bought the insurance for our trip to ****** in April 2022. Our son had an accident and had emergency treatment. We followed all the rules and contacted them. They approved treatment, and I had to pay all the medical bills at discharge. In August, we filed our claim and received a note stating 45 days of processing. Then after checking in on them in November, we were told that our claim was missing documents; we submitted them and were told another 45 days for review. January 29, 2023, and we have seen or heard anything from them. I would not recommend this company based on our experience with them. I am about to go seek legal counsel to deal with them.

      We are a rental fleet company that works with marketplace platforms that offer IMG iTravel Interior Damage Protection Policies. Since April 2022 to currently Mid-January 2023 we have had 53 claims and IMG has not paid on a single claim to date. There is no ************ of contact and all we get is repetitious automated canned emails. Our renters have gotten no where with IMG as well. When calling it connects to an international customer service representative who never completes anything, escalation requests lead to no results, no one ever calls us back. The online portal does not work, and when it does work sporadically the information is very limited and the upload area is too restrictive to provide complete information. For 9 months now there has not been a single payment processed by IMG. I have contacted legal council at this point.

      do not purchase this insurance. They don't get back to you even with a simple question----and certainly not with a claim!!

      Similar experience to other reviewers. Delay, obfuscation, more delays. Though they ask you to fill out claims online, once submitted you are unable to review your claim or see anything you have uploaded. If you call, they will not give any information. If you email, your only other option, you will not hear from them for weeks. Nearly 12 weeks down the road from my claim, numerous calls and emails later, on a simple, totally covered claim, and I am still waiting. All of these obvious delay tactics are used to increase their bottom line. This is not a company with which you want to do business.

      Like everyone else below I also fell victim to IMGLOBAL which is a scam company and their goal is to deny any claims filed. You are treated with prompt responses, respect and passion till you make the mistake to file a claim. Thats when you can see their real face. I have used IMGLOBAL on multiple occasions in last 5 years but without filing a claim until now. My story starts with going to an emergency room with a kidney stone causing obstruction of my kidney and resultant severe pain and nausea/vomiting. I never had kidney stone in ***************** filed claims in May ******************************************************************************************* November 2022 stating pre existing condition since kidney stones develop over months to years so by the time I purchased policy I would have had an asymptomatic stone in my kidney and now Ive to pay over $20,000 for being treated just for a kidney stone. Im a physician myself and it doesnt making any sense to me. If we use this strict definition for pre existing condition then no condition would be covered except accidents and may be some infections which again can be disputed depending upon if they are truly emergencies. What my research has shown most companies which offer especially travel medical insurance are like that and they use strict pre existing conditions definition as exclusion. In my opinion its complete wastage of money to buy such policy. Some may say they include pre existing conditions but then will put review or look back period. Just be aware and dont fall victim to false reassurance.

      If I could submit a review with ZERO stars I would do so. So the history causing me to submit a claim for a trip "interruption" - I tested positive for COVID while overseas and had to spend 5 extra days before I could return to the US. As I had additional hotel and transportation expenses I submitted them and the required paperwork on Aug. 2, 2022. (STUPID ME - I forgot to submit the additional expenses for food.) There website and documents state they will resolve any issues and issue payment for a claim within "industry standards" (I got an auto claim paid in 3 days recently). 30 days after my original submission I had had NO contact - so I called AND sent an e-mail asking for an update - and the customer service representative stated the "claim was in the review handler and in process and an update would be provided soon". After another 3 weeks I did the same - and received the same run-around answer. Another 2 weeks later I did the same with an identical result. 2 weeks later I did the same with an identical result. I contacted my insurance broker and he called and got the SAME result! Another week later - the same with the same result - the claim was "with the handler for review" and the same suggestion to e-mail the itravelclaims address requesting an update (crickets/silence from that department!). FINALLY after 98 days I received notification that my claim was approved and payment would be sent shortly - 4 days later I finally received payment and resolution!I do not think 98 days is quite the "industry standard" for resolving insurance claims and I was very frustrated with the same reply over and over again. Needless to say they are not "prompt" by any means - customer service has no ability to provide you with an accurate status. Bottom line -I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE!
