      Do not use this company! They will take your money and never pay your claim. They have multiple timelines within their policy for submitting a claim and state after each "or as soon as reasonably possible" and no one in their company can clarify what their own policy guidelines mean. We submitted our claim "as soon as reasonably possible" and questioned what date was considered our final timeline to submit and they could not answer that simple question. They flat out denied our claim via e-mail and when we called them for an explanation, they said they didn't receive the physician's information which we verified we sent and they finally admitted to receiving. Whenever we called, they would indicate our claim was still in progress but would never follow up. We were always contacting them for an update of which they couldn't provide. After the denial, we filed an appeal and was assured it would be channeled up and processed within 2-3 days. Of course, we followed up again and was told they are backlogged, It has been nine months since the appeal was submitted and we followed up multiple times during this period. They required we provide a timeline of why we could not submit earlier than we did (according to their loose policy timelines). We provided an extensive reporting of why our claim could not be submitted any earlier. Our last e-mail to them indicated we had been more than patient and would appreciate an update, We requested direct contact with the person working our claim. *** never provided. Instead, they quickly DENIED OUR APPEAL They were not about to reimburse of our $20K claim. Would not recommend this company to anyone and have advised our travel agent to NEVER use them again for our business. This company deserves zero stars!

      ******! I am living in ****** and in the process of getting a kidney scan (which I did not request any medical help with my insurance) they found a spot on my bladder. The hospital obtained preauthorization thru a mediator for the surgery for the spot and one night stay in the hospital. When I went to get released, *** denied my coverage (after I had approval) and then I was held against my will at the hospital until my bill was paid. I had to stay an extra night in the hospital while I tried to get the funds to pay my bill. I did two appeals, and I was denied for a preexisting condition. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE...never ever have I had anything wrong with my bladder until I saw that scan. I also received a call from a very RUDE manager who told me that I could have known about it and that it was a preexisting condition. HORRIBLE treatment.

      BEWARE, THIS INSURANCE FOR TRIP PROTECTION IS NOT GOOD AND IS A POOR VALUE.THEIR MISSION IS TO DELAY AND THEN DENY. THEY KEEP PECKING AWAY, REQUESTING ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION IN LIEU OF BEING UPFRONT AT THE BEGINNING OF A CLAIM AND LIST ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION.ON AN INTERNATIONAL TRIP, MY LUGGAGE WAS LEFT BEHIND AT THE AIRPORT FOR THE FULL 12 DAYS OF MY TRIP i.e. I HAD NOTHING. DUE TO THE AIRLINE MISHANDLING MY LUGGAGE, I MISSED A CONNECTING FLIGHT TO *************** AND HAD TO PURCHASE NEW CLOTHING, FISHING EQUIPMENT AND OTHER ITEMS. SEEMS SIMPLE BUT IMG MADE "INTERPRETIVE" REASONS IN THEIR FAVOR TO DENY MY CLAIM BUT AFTER 8 MONTHS OF DEALING WITH THEM, I GAVE UP. I WOULD NOT RECOMMNEND IMG. THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO USE.

      I purchased travel insurance for a big trip, which was unfortunately canceled due to a death in the family. A reimbursement for death should be pretty simple, however it's been anything but. It took 4 months to get my first reimbursement for the cruise portion after being asked for more and more and more documentation. They, however, denied my airline reimbursement because I didn't submit sufficient proof that I neither received a refund nor future credit -- other than the airline's automated email that I wasn't receiving a refund or future credit... or the airline's website saying that I wasn't receiving a refund or future credit... or the personalized email from the airline stating that I wasn't receiving a refund or future credit. I had to submit a reconsideration. At first I was told to give it 45 days... then 45 business days... then 90 days. Keep in mind that I'm in the insurance industry myself and know that the first instinct of an insurer is to deny a claim, but this is ridiculous. I've, undeniably, provided them with all information requested. I'll be patient and give them the, now 90, days to review, but will get an attorney if they deny or delay any longer. Caveat emptor: skip this insurer in the future.

      Really bad company..............For almost 10 months we are trying to get paid, for a claims submitted since Dec 2023, we paid $10.000 dolar for our travel insurance, we are ready to notify to B B B, they scam your money, we need proteccion for scams like this Company.******* ******

      Scam! Run!Per IMG, kidney stone is not an emergency, therefore not covered under emergency coverage in their traveller's insurance!

      ******************** designed to take money from consumers while providing as little benefit as possible. I bought ticket insurance for winter park in ********, and was not able to use the ticket. I bought the ticket insurance through *************** and to apply for a claim you have to go through International Medical Group **** I followed their steps to get a refund fort ticket and after weeks of jumping through hoops I was ultimately denied a refund. Its sad that businesses are allowed to operate in this manner with no accountability.

      USELESS customer service for my claim. I started my claim in December 2023 via the claim portal which failed after I spent hours converting documents to PDF and uploading them. I had been told it was the only way to file. Then they gave me an outdated mailing address for the claim which resulted in further delays. Did they not know their entire company had moved?!? I supplied dozens of documents and, over a period of SEVERAL MONTHS, I called and emailed multiple times trying to be sure they had everything they needed to complete my claim. I finally had to get a 3rd party involved to try to resolve the claim. 6 MONTHS after filing they finally supplied a list of documents I had to get from hotels, airlines, etc. I called, emailed, etc each vendor trying to get what IMG wanted, but by this time, no one could be bothered to provide documentation from over 6 months ago. The final settlement was hundreds of dollars below what I am due but the worst part was the dozens of hours of wasted time and effort trying to get IMG to answer questions. Avoid at all costs.

      These guys reject every claim saying that is a preexisting even though the hospital provider says it is not!! They even reject ambulance services. What a scam, totally avoid these guys!!! Save your hard earned money!!! this insurance always says that the condition is pre-existing, see the attached picture, Even the doctor says the condition is not pre-existing, this insurance rejects all our claims, read other reviews before you buy.

      So unprofessional and lots of continuously delays, delays in their reply to my dad claim for services he received when he was sick traveling abroad. IMG should have their business license revoke from where they conduct business both in the state of ******* and *********. Compliants must be file online with the state attorneys office in all the state that they are licensed to conduct business in and with states that they are able to underwrite travel policy. We are still waiting for them to deny our claim that was filed on 4/25/24 and all of their actions is pointing towards their actions of not wanting to fulfill their dereliction duty to paid out on their travel policy with terms they had advertised to consumer. We will also go after them for fraudulent business practice if and when they give us the denial on my dad's legitimate claim.
