On March 28, 2024, I was lured by all allamericandish.com into switching from Directv to Dish with a promise of $300 gift card and if I also switch to Spectrum internet at the same time that I switch to Dish, I get an additional $200 gift card. So I called the phone no in their website and switched from Directv to Dish and also switched to Spectrum internet at the same time on March 28, 2024. I called Dish to follow up my $300 gift card and they said the promo has not been uploaded to my account and when I asked about the $200 gift card I was promised to switch to Dish and Spectrum internet at the same time, they said the third party which is allamericandish.com did not load the promos. I was promised over the phone by the agent who signed me up that I will get a total of $500 in gift card and I have not received any. This is fraud!Business Response

Dear BBB-
Unfortunately, this individual never did order from All American Dish. This individual did call us on 3/28/24 & spoke with an agent for 9 minutes, but never did complete a sale. Called back a second time on 3/28 & spoke with an agent for 2 minutes.
Individual asked if All American Dish was the same as DISH & agent informed the individual we are an authorized retailer of DISH & individual stated she would contact DISH directly to order.
All American Dish can not fulfill a gift card promotion for an individual who never did order from us.

Business offered $600 gift card to switch from direct tv. The manager played the voice recording that clearly stated that they were giving me $600 and they said that they couldnt honor because it was only $300 from dish and $100 from them. Thanks for the response-I dont think I was misled, I truly was misled. The recording stated that I qualified for the $600 and it shouldnt be the customers responsibility to know a disclaimer needs to be read to them to receive what was honored. If anyone listens to that recording they would know that the customer is right here and should in fact be made whole. The disclaimer was read in the dish gift card which in fact was the right amount and honored by the company, but not from all American dish that didnt give me a disclaimer and didnt pay $300 which was promised and only paid out $100. Which I am still waiting on.
Please send the recording to the better business bureau as this is documentation that should be also shared.Customer Answer

Sorry! My previous response was to the company and I realized it should have been to the BBB. The company admitted wrong doing in the reps ****** as they told me they would address the issue with them and they will be coached. Others should know that this company could be misleading and have you sign up for a contract thinking your getting $600 instead of $400 and that its not clear that its them and dish paying out 2 different offers. Upon further review, I did discover that our Agent did not properly disclose the Terms & Conditions upon how a consumer qualifies for the additional $300 from All American Dish. He read the terms on how you would receive the $300 from DISH Network upon qualification & their Terms & Conditions, but failed to disclose the Terms & Conditions from All American Dish for the additional $300.
While our Agent failed in properly disclosing the Terms & Conditions on behalf of the additional $300, I have went ahead & authorized for you to receive the additional $300 from All American Dish.
You will be receiving an email from ***************** Group to your email provided during the sales call ****************************** & the instructions on how to activate your $300 in gift cards. This process could take up to 7 - 10 business days.

My assistant just called our fulfillment center who issues the cards & for full transparency, here is the exact communication....
"xxxx is going to reach out to the customer to provide her with two additional claim codes for the card-rebate forms, so she is able to claim her cards. It was an error in the system as to why she only received one claim code in her email. Not sure if you would like to give her my direct line ************ or email for communication purposes in dealing with xxxx instead of continuing to file a claim with the BBB."

I was lured into a deceiving offer that was plausibly more valuable than it actually was. It said a value of up to $600 was available on a gift card that was promised if service was purchased. But if you read it, the *** offer available was only a *** of $300. They combined individual offers to insinuate more money was available than actually was ever intended to be offered.Business Response

Unfortunately, in the picture you provided to the BBB, it left off the part that clearly states on all of our marketing, the words "Up to" & the words "Full Terms Apply".
In the "Terms", it clearly states how to achieve the full $600 gift card.

All Amer dish took ***** out of my account for a processing fee. I didn't agree to even get the service I wanted to look around first to see if I could find a cheaper cable company before I locked it in with them . I am sorry to hear you are receiving unsolicited emails, but our company does not send unsolicited email. The only emails I am aware of that have been sent out over the last 2 weeks, were to customers who had a pending install & we were notifying them of delays with our installation network & the installation might be delayed. Certainly nothing of any solicitation or offering of discounts. In addition, I did not even see your name listed on those emails over the last 2 weeks.
If you could please provide the solicitation you are referring to, I can look into it further.

Please provide the piece of mail you are receiving that shows it was sent from All American Dish. If you are referring to a flyer that is part of a pamphlet of multiple companies, then you will need to contact your US Postal Service & request they stop delivering that particular pamphlet to you.. To my knowledge, these pamphlets are delivered in bulk to certain area post offices & they deliver to their entire route. If I have misunderstood, please advise.

1.) Do you have my name and or address as part of physical junk mail list?

My father was an account holder for All American Dish. Since he passed away (Apr) I have been unable to reach All American Dish. The phone number on their website leads to ************ proper. Even the number Dish gave out *************) leads directly to a message every day at all times despite calling during the listed operation hours. There is no option to leave a VM either. This is unacceptable and they continue to charge a deceased man's account until there is no money left.Business Response

I signed up for All American Dish in June 2022. At time of signup, the representative who was helping me (******** at ********************) completed my order and gave me the information on what it was that I ordered. I asked about the gift card promotion that was being offered at the time, just because I saw it somewhere on the site. She gave me some details about the gift card and told me I would be getting something in the mail regarding the gift card. At no point in the conversation was I told of the requirements to get the gift card (America's top 200, something called 'credit qualification', and a couple of other things) until I called All American Dish to inquire about the gift card. I called All American Dish on 9/1/22 and spoke to a **** who said he was the supervisor and some type of manager. He didnt seem to care about the issue and just told me I didnt qualify for the gift card because I didnt sign up with the America top 200 (which i would have if i had known) and that I didn't have the credit qualification (I guess that means I didnt have the required credit score). I feel like those are things that should have been disclosed at signup by the representatives completing our orders. Its like the company is intentionally left out the requirements of the gift card just so they can get the sale. After speaking to ********** went on the website and the disclaimer for the card is at the veeerrrryy bottom of the page, in small font so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read (see attachments). On top of that the service is cut off if not paid BEFORE the bill due date. I feel like the company misrepresented itself by leading me to believe I would get a gift card when I signed up. This should be illegal and its dishearting to be stuck in a 2 year contract with a dishonest company.Business Response

I still have not received an explanation as to why my service is cut off if payment is not received BEFORE the due date. My last payment was due on 9/1/22 and I woke up at 6am that morning and my service was already disconnected for nonpayment. I did not have any past due balances and was not given a chance to make my payment on the due date before disconnecting. To add insult to injury I was made to pay $30 for the 3 month free movie channels I canceled over 2 weeks prior because they had already added to the september bill. I don't understand. And asking a rep with the company
