    Rented from Wilmoth Group for 1-1/2 years with no problems. Yes the home had some issues which were taken care of in an acceptable time frame. All vendors used were professional and courteous. I will recommend this company to any friends or relatives needing a home to rent.

    I was denied for a house on ************ in a known high crime area in ************. This duplex is vacant on one side, the homes next door are graffiti ridden, trash in the back alley, as well as broken down vehicles, high weeds, and empty lots it was just an affordable 2 bedroom with a fence for my 5-pound dog closer to work. My bankruptcy has been discharged for many years as it is a requirement, I earn over 3 x's the rent as required and have lived in previous apartments in the suburbs with no evictions. Yet I was denied for this junk the nerve. My good rental history usually outweighs the not-so-great credit. As mentioned in the requirements it is not the only requirement.

    I would be happy to address a review like this if not for the following:1. No record of an applicant by this name 2. No record of an applicant by this email address 3. After review of every application on our most recent listing on Kealing (leased 12/30/24) can not find any similar names or emails. I would request either more information or for this review to be cancelled.

    Greedy. Suspicious "fees". To make an inline payment, here's the breakdown of fees: $17..71=$5.00 credit card fee, about average, but the $12.71 is pure profit. Hit you right out the blue with ANOTHER charge for whatever. They want to Charge me late fee @ $5.00 per day: Their lease says rent is due 04/01/24. Since they verify your income, they know I do not get my SSDI til the 3rd of the month?? GREEDY!

    Unfortunately you did not identify yourself so it is difficult to specifically respond.  We can say that what you may be describing is paying rent with a credit card and it is true that the credit care processor charges 3.5%.  So the greedy you refer to there does not go to WILMOTH Group.  Also, a WILMOTH lease does not charge $5 a day late fees and we remove late fees when they are incurred due to assistance payments. 

    We would ask you to reconsider this review due to the accusations of greediness that are inaccurate.

    We are sorry you chose to post this on BBB but your statements need to be clarified. Please define your claim of "very unquestionable business practices"? To clarify further, your house was not almost condemned. The problem was there were chipmunks in the attic which we removed. We gladly resolve all problems with our residents. What else have you found questionable about our business practices?
