    They scammed us out of our $1050 deposit by charging us for very normal wear and tear to our apartment, like paint and cleaning floors, upwards of $400 by showing us self-made receipts. They blatantly lied about how we left the property and we have pic and video evidence of how nice we left it. They never kept up their appliances, such as the furnace or air unit. We lost heat 2 times due to their lack of maintenance and air 1 time. They truly are slum lords. Over priced as well, rent was raised 2 times in 2 years over the avg. 2-3% as well. Its predatory. they also charge to park if you have more than 2 cars and its a 3bd-4bd apts. its all very predatory. AVOID. AVOID AT ALL COST.

    Thieneman Group LLC was never their landlord. Westward Holdings LLC was their landlord. We also have photographic evidence of the state of the unit as it was returned to us. We had to have the entire unit repainted at a much higher cost than we charged the tenant, they were charged less than 1/3 of the total cost due to grease, furniture marks etc. Any HVAC system can have issues and were always addressed for the tenant. Loss of heat is most generally caused when the filters are clogged and the unit cannot function. If it was due to parts being needed because they malfunctioned - that is not something that would have been known until it happened and was addressed by our HVAC subcontractor. These are not 4 bedroom apts, but 3 bedroom townhomes that each have 2 dedicated parking spots. We do in fact charge for extra dedicated, reserved parking as they had 3. This was not a hidden charge and was discussed at time of tenancy as it is written in all leases. Westward Holdings LLC did in fact generate an itemized invoice showing all charges being deducted from their security deposit as we do for all tenants when they leave. They were not charged the full amount on any items that were considered normal wear and tear. I don't know how else someone would receive an itemized list/invoice unless it was "self-made". For instance, we were charged and paid $1200 for painting in this unit and we charged them less than 1/3 of that cost which was to cover direct damage to the walls via staining by things like grease and marks made directly onto the walls by their furniture. Every charge was discounted to cover normal wear and tear with the only exceptions being their direct damage.
