      I have been with Metronet for about two years, when last November or December we had an outage that caused effects for days, we called and received a credit and from that time my billing has never been the same. I never needed customer service before then, and I hadn’t need to engage, but from February or March until today I have been disconnected or suspended each month for some random fees or bills, this month I made a payment on the 11th and they hadn’t processed it until the 16? I hadn’t know the payment never went through on the 16th because I was never notified and when they disconnected my services on the 21 I had just found it out and they couldn’t tell me what account I paid with, and at that time I owed $167 from no where. I was livid and I was trying to cancel for days they keep hanging up, or gaslighting me until they hang up, it’s completely vile and disgusting. I hate them now!

      Works fine when it works. Nearly impossible to cancel or get support.
      9 phone calls, 2 hours total on hold. Still can’t get to their retention department.
      Finally took the equipment and sent it back.
      When I got to UPS to send the equipment back and told them of the lack of customer assistance, the response was “We get a lot of that from Metronet customers.”

      The customer complaint process is horrendous. A contract employee came to my house unannounced and left my gate open. My dogs got out as a result. I have camera footage of the employee coming onto my property and carelessly leaving my gate open. Needless to say, I was furious. I have called more times than i can keep track of trying to get my complaint heard by a manager, but no one has the respect to call me back. You can ask for a manager and all they will do is file a complaint and say someone will reach out. No one ever does. It has been 3 months since the issue and no one has called me back. If you do not have any issues, you will be fine. Internet speed is fine. If you ever have a complaint, good luck. 2 stars because internet finally works and no more issues. This is the worst customer service escalation process I have ever seen.

      I love their service, but they make you jump through hoops to cancel. You can sign-up online and schedule your installation, but to cancel you have to sit on hold (32 minutes for me) and answer their questions. There is no "it's none of your business why" options. The text to agent doesn't work. 4 tries and zilch. I'll stick with them because of the fiber optic connection, and spectrum sucks, but stop disrespecting your customer's time. You took up most of my lunch hour. I'm hungry and ticked off.

      Metronet came and installed the cable in April of 2025. Today is 05/25/2025 and my cable is still NOT buried. I have been told numerous times over the phone that a field supervisor is aware of the cable not buried and will call me the next day. Nobody ever calls. I have had (3) supervisors show up to walk in backyard to see for themselves. They tell me they will let contractors know about that and leave. Metronet will be very quick on the install, but to bury their cable, not so much.

      Metronet came to my home a couple weeks ago needing access to my yard in order to help with their fiber build. They painted all over my fence as opposed to the grass, and have given me the runaround for resolution

      There cancelstion policy is terrible the strung me on making me continue to pay at least 5 employees evaded the question. I returned all there equipment I had and the said I didn’t and made me pay an additional fee to stop charging me. My cancellation was a a cause and f me moving out of state. The process was handled very poorly. And st the end I felt scammed to keep paying on a service I wanted cancelled.

      Ever since T-Mobile and KKR acquired Metronet customer service online never works and internet keeps failing. Technicians are great. Problem is failed management and leadership needs state and FCC investigations.

      Was told price would not change. Called today and spoke to someone who transferred me to their "Loyalty" program. They told me that they where sorry someone lied to me, it was not the first time.
      Said they best they could do was to increase my bill by $5 a month so I would not have an increase for 3 years. Will be switching as soon as I get around to it. The actual internet service has not been an issue. They just have no honesty as a company.

      This company is an absolute scam and a nightmare to deal with. They came and installed equipment in January but couldn’t get it to work. Despite that they billed us. In good faith and believing they would soon have everything working, we paid the bill. However, the communication from the company then dropped offed completely. The texts to the service supervisor went unanswered. Customer service calls were put into an endless queue and never answered. Texts with customer service were completely unproductive as we were passed from one agent to another, resubmitting information over and over without any progress’s toward resolution. And, of course, we continued to get billed despite no service. Finally, we were able to talk to a person and we able to close the account. The company will be coming to remove their equipment but who knows what will be done about the holes drilled into the walls. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this company. They will happily bill you for services never rendered and will provide only false avenues for communication.
