    Requests to remove certain services last month not completed (10+ email requests to billing; 3+ requests to remove services to membership) - neither membership or billing completed removal of services. Last month requests at start of the month (November) - they did not return follow up until end of Month, Nov. 22nd, but charged me late fees for 2 mos. and kept additional services and fees to next month. After my inquiry on statements, access to 2nd membership was updated from billing side (very concerning) to list full amount vs. breakdown of prior $45/month. I was able to see difference in app/website and print out statements showing actual fees. I heard 5 different answers for billing services. Instead of just fixing account on Nov. 8, staff focused on statement changes/excuses, changing access and then I was charged double services I requested to remove and late fees though directly communicating with billing on the issue. Thus, I requested via manager to cancel membership via phone message. She never called or responded to (3) different calls or 1 email.Fulfill multiple requests to cancel membership from Nov. 7th w/no penalty and written confirmation. Made (3) direct calls to manager each week to cancel membership. Manager NEVER returned call or followed up on request. Due to billing not matching up with statements and poor response by membership and manager I requested cancellation since November 8th. NO one updated membership or corrected issues, which would have been immediate custom service approach from 1st email. Manager should have returned and confirmed cancellation on 1st request, November 8.

    We have had a very unfortunate experience with Wheaton Sport Center. Summary of the situation: my wife purchased $300 worth of massage credits. Through what seems to be a mix of a massage therapist retiring and mismanagement on their part, my wife was wholly unable to use the credits despite her best and repeated efforts. So I called the spa manager to obtain approval for my wife to use the massage credits on other spa services. The manager refused and said that it looks like we are out of luck. I told her what ******** law requires as far as gift cards/credit that has been paid for (I am an attorney). She told me to go to small claims court if I was so unhappy. Astonished at her unprofessionalism and "sucks for you" attitude (THIS is how they treat customers whose money they are holding onto??), I got angry and we then proceeded to shout over each other. In an impressive display of ********, she accused ME of being bullying and intimidating. Pretty ironic that it was she who was making this accusation, but I think the irony was lost on her . . . .The next day, the General Manager -- obviously taking her employee's distorted word for how the conversation played out -- sent a faux polite "f you" email to my wife, saying that because of "my tone and attitude," Wheaton Sports don't want us around any more. She did refund our money, so that is good.BUT, here's where we ended: 1.) Wheaton Sports tried to take our money in violation of ******** law; 2.) when I complained, the spa manager was off-the-charts rude, unprofessional and arrogant -- and told me that if I didn't like it, I could take them to court; 3.) then the General Manager, rather than apologizing, proceed to banish us from Wheaton Sports, pretending that they were the wronged party and were taking the 'high road.' ************ bad. We got our money back, so we're fine, and points to them on chutzpah, but my goodness . . .
