I purchased a GLA 250, 2019 from Driven Auto Waukegan, I put down $2,700.00. When I went over my paperwork. I seen a warranty for ************* $850.00 it was discussed. This $899.00 was not discussed in detail at all that it pays out $3,000.00if the car is stolen. I canceled both warranties on January *******. I called the warranty provider and was told no money was paid towards my vehicle VIN number. Their finance person told me today that is a product they sale to make money and there is no cancellation of this product. This item was not discussed but added to the contract. I want the refund submitted to my lien holder *********** and minus from my PRINCIPAL balance.

The dealer is saying i need a new engine and I have 66k on the truck now and omega won't cover the repair because they say it's still under factory warranty. I get ahold of ***** corporate and they ran the vin and they say the odometer was changed or something along them lines. I keep getting the run around for a truck I suppose to have 2 warranties on and paid over 50k. So here we are. If you can help I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I had purchased a 2014 **************** with this company and at the time of purchase there were already issues beginning. First they sold me the vehicle with an aftermarket key fob so the vehicle wouldn't lock. When I brought it home and realized it, I called *****(manager) who said he noticed it didn't lock either and to try and change the battery. At that point I was already feeling skeptical because if you knew the key fob wasn't working why would you not say something. I then brought the vehicle back to be looked at because there was an *** light coming on and the key fob wasn't working ***** then reassured he would have his service department look at it and fix the issue. I ended up having to wait 2 weeks for a new key fob to be ordered because the problem was the key fob was an aftermarket and with ********** you cant use that, and on top of that the *** was still coming on and off on the vehicle. I took it to a mechanic and after looking at the car he said there was a problem with the Turbo Engine and a leak somewhere in it that is causing the oil to burn and not function properly, he then stated the repair for it would be anywhere from 2k-3k. I immediately called Driven Auto to speak with ***** to let him know that he and his service team did not fix the issue on the vehicle that they knew it wasn't fixed and still sent me on my way to be out of more money. They are deceitful people trying to make as much money as they can off people and sell them cars that aren't properly checked before being sold. When I asked to speak with the owner they said no they don't have to provide that info and I'm sure that's because they know what they are doing is wrong. I am very disappointed as I feel they just say and do anything to make a sell to customers who don't have the best credit to s**** them over. They take advantage of you and your situation and this needs to be addressed.

We purchased a 2022 **** F-250 Super Duty pickup from Driven Automotive of Waukegan with ***** miles on it!Being from out of state. I called and spoke with their Sales Manager ***** ,Who assured me this was a frontline Ready unit that was just like new!!!! I asked about current or prior damages, he assured me that was none and had not been any different prior damage!!!Being an auto dealer my self, theres an unwritten code, that we tell each other nothing but the ******* So keeping this in mind, I negotiated a sale price which ***** agreed to. Which was a fair deal in which the dealership should have made a decent profit at!I purchased an airline ticket and flew to ******* the next morning to pick the truck up and drive it back to the dealership! To make a long story short. I resold the truck to a very close friend who discovered after he took delivery from me that the truck had been damaged to the tune of $9,000!!!When I found this out, I immediately called *****, who tried to turn everything and put the blame on me! When I picked up the truck, I thought it strange when I paid for the truck the ONLY form I signed was a buyers order. The was no damage disclosure, nothing else at all! Also, might I add the A/C didnt work either!Upon finding out about the damage, I called ***** **** and either asked for the cost of repair to fix the damage or to return the truck for a full refund plus the expense I was out for my trip etc.! He refused both options! He finally agreed to take the truck back up but he was going to withhold $2,000 of our money!I asked for the owner of the business name and again he refused !!! If they are going to operate that way with us, how will they treat the public? JUST AS BAD OR WORSE!!! Ill bet!!?? CD gF this dealership at all cost? There are a lot of honest dealerships in the area! Driven automotive is NOT AN HONEST DEALERSHIP TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the car, represented on the enclosed invoice as a 2022 ****** Prius "Nightshade" edition from Driven Auto on 3/27/2024. The next day, I discovered that the car was in fact a base "Eco" model lacking many features and amenities included on the "Nightshade" edition. The differences are documented in the enclosed file named "Misrepresentation of Trim Level"). I traveled 50 miles to Driven Auto, and they offered no restitution for this major discrepancy, even though our text conversation (enclosed) shows that they recognized the discrepancy. An Eco version is worth 11% less than a "Nightshade" edition as a used 2022 model with 45k miles, according to ***************** Book. I should have received either a refund of 11%, or been permitted to return the car, but they told me they would charge a 15% restocking fee and would offer $0 restitution. Secondly, the car has an incorrectly installed bumper, including loose bolts and impingement of other components, which affects its automated grille's operation, as documented by ******************* ****** in ********* (estimate enclosed). I discovered this within days of purchase, and reported it to Driven Auto within the 15 day, 500 mile limit mandated under State Law, but have received no response. The cost of correcting this is over $2000 (estimate enclosed). So in addition to the misrepresentation as to the model of the car (Nightshade vs. Eco), the car also needs this expensive repair, which Driven Auto should be responsible for.

July 29, 2023 we traded in our 2016 kia **** ev ev+ for a 2022 kia **** ev. Our 2016 kia **** ev had a negative equity value of 8K with remaining balance of 14k.Kia **** ev 2022 price was above its actual value at 29k Yet bill of sale says total is 49k Literally a 20k difference. They added on the loan of the other car onto this one & w 20%apr. So we are technically paying for two cars when we only have 1.We believe we should get a better deal & get our other car back since we are paying for it!We cannot refinance this loan because the Loan to Value ratio is about 150% that is extremely high & therefore no lender wants to work with us.This information was not given to us at time of sale. They said and i quote"you can refinance in 6 months without an issue" here we are 6 months later cannot pay for this car due to its high interest rate & they are selling our kia **** ****** know it is ours i have screenshots of the carfax history that align when i had the car serviced. They are currently selling the kia **** at 11k which is less than what we was owed & more than what they gave us. We deserve a fair ********** car back since WE ARE paying for it. They take no risks at all & here we are struggling. They took advantage of us.This is also not the first time we had issues w them. There was also another issue when we first got the kia **** where we had to make extra payment on the kia **** ev which at this time was no longer in our posession, because *********** did not recieve the full "payoff" amount n therefore was coming for us. Saying we owed them ********** called the dealership & practically had to fight ************ to get them to pay that remaining balance, because it was their ********************* said they would take care of it! Even thou ******* (dealership manager) had informed us we did not need to pay anything anymore & it would be smooth sailing. After like 2 months of fighting this issue was resolved. But now 4 months later here we are.

Purchased a vehicle and within days the vehicle was found to have issues. Returned for a refund and was told I could not return it. Dealership agreed to fix the issue that was found by a certified mechanic 2 Days after driving it off their lot. Currently still dealing with the same issue of damaged catalytic converter. Never fixed from the Dealership and now will not pass emissions.

Very shady dealership. Bought a 2013 ******** **** C250. Been having problems with it since the 1st week I bought it. After failing emissions and the alternator dying, I paid over $3k to get the problems fixed. With the alternator, I was told a new alternator was installed. It's been a maybe 14 months since I got the alternator replaced and now I'm being told I need a new one. I want my money back. Driven Auto continues to scam people and my car is the perfect example. I am plagued with issues. This shouldn't be one though because I paid them to fix it, and now I have to get it replaced again. I want my money back for the alternator and the "replace alternator" fee. Total $441.14.
