Was told I would be contacted on Monday to arrange an appointment on Tuesday to get an assessment on my deck replacement. No contact on Monday as promised and no contact all day Tuesday. Is this a reputable company??? Doesn’t matter how long they have been in business, this is not acceptable!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel bad leaving them a bad review because they honestly tried hard to make things right and were nice throughout the whole process. They came back several times to attempt to get their work up to my standards. Sadly, they lack the skill to do the job right in my opinion. This business was a crushing disappointment for me. I had new siding added to my house, and 3 windows replaced. All 3 windows leaked, and it took 3 return visits for them to get them not to leak (I still don't think they have it done right - it was a "band-aid" repair on brand new windows). The workers did a sloppy job cutting and trimming the siding, and it looks bad up close (Jagged edges, corners don't align). They also did not leave enough room for expansion, so I have siding panels falling off 3 years later. In the summer, my house looks like a big block of cheese left out in the sun - melting - because the siding gets warped when it expands and doesn't have room to expand. They did not use appropriate channels around obstacles (Such as water spigots) - they just cut the siding to butt up against such obstacles. They also didn't use adapters to mount lights - they screwed the light on with deck screws and called it a day. They fixed these items when I asked them too, but I had to get them to come back out and inspect their work. And then there is the caulking.... It must be the worst caulking I've seen in my entire life. It's simply embarrassing. I feel like I was scammed out of $14,000, and what is worse is that I need to hire a company at some point to come fix some of this before my home gets too much water damage.

Mr. ***** reached out via a group text to the owner of the company and a sales member on 7/25/2022. The text was showing an image of the top band of siding which had come unlocked. A representative of Griffitts Exterior stopped by the home and explained to Mr. ***** that he would have to come back with a taller ladder in-order to be able to reach the panel. The siding was replaced, at no cost to Mr. Blood, three years after job completion.
We feel that we have satisfied our obligations with Mr. ***** per our warranty. If there are any other issues that should arise Mr. ***** is directed to call the office with any concerns, questions, etc...
As you can clearly see we have no issues honoring our workmanship warranty and are attempting to satisfy every customer.

"Replaced" is a misleading term here. The old siding that had come loose was re-secured. It was re-secured using nails through the siding itself which goes against the manufactures (certainteed) installation instructions. This is the 4th piece of siding that has fallen off, and has been put back using nails through the siding and caulk. These nails and caulk shouldn't be needed in the first place - I believe if the siding was installed correctly from the start they wouldn't be popping off in the heat.

They do try very hard to satisfy my concerns, and maintain a courteous and professional attitude. I simply believe they don't have the skills required to do a quality job that I think should have come at the cost they charged. I don't think a $14,000 siding project should ever have to Jerry-rigged back onto the house using caulk and nails through the siding.
