      They were supposed to fix my roof. Insurance paid them and after 11 months they came back to fix it but they did not fix what they were paid for. They did not replace the wood or fix the gully. Now I have a huge lump in my roof part of the gully is gone they bent my gutter bent the drip edge and left nails under the shingles they put I so it is causing more problems with my roof leaking and they didn’t fix the tiles in my bathroom. I was not home when they got here or when they left I have a picture of the mess they made out of my roof

      In response to these accusations, the homeowner has a white three tab shingle which was not locally available causing a large delay due to the pandemic and national material shortage. Once we were able to attain the proper shingles we contacted the homeowner to schedule the repairs. Mrs. ***** continued to delay the project due to her work schedule and medical visits. ********* scheduled the repair, informed Mrs. ***** and sent out our installer. Our installer was instructed to remove the damaged wood, seen in the attached photos, and replace the shingles on the South slope of the home. When we spoke with the homeowner about scheduling the repair, she had mentioned that the North side of her roof was also leaking and asked if we could take a look at the area. Upon inspection of the North slope and valley area, it was determined that the valley shingles had been improperly installed allowing the water to run under the shingles causing the reported leak. ********* out of good faith replaced the shingles in the North valley, while we were on the roof doing the contracted repairs on the South slope of the home. Mrs. ***** has since contacted the BBB without any complaints or phone calls to my company. My fear is that Mrs. ***** may be having difficulty coming up with the outstanding balance on the contracted portion of the project, not including the additional work for the North slope.

      Mrs. ***** has forgotten that the interior ceiling tile work she is referring to was to be completed by herself in exchange for her deductible on another project we had completed.

      Based upon the photos provided by our installer I cannot see any "huge lumps, or missing gully"

      In regards to the bent guttering or drip edge, ********* would be more than happy to remedy any issues if Mrs. ***** is willing to allow us back onto the property.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      All of this is not true. They called me 2x in 11 months always after I called ******. 1x was to say he didn’t have a crew but could borrow 1 and would call me back in 2 weeks I never heard from him again until I called again and he said that they would be over in a few weeks still didn’t hear from them until I told them that I was going to contact bbb then he called me that evening and said they would be over the next day. I had to go to hospital that day. I called them around 7:00am to inform them but I didn’t hear anything until I called ****** to see if they got the message ****** informed me they had already left to go to my house . I have a copy of the insurance papers of where they were supposed to repair the roof and they put new shingles on the wrong side of the roof. They were supposed to repair the side where the gully is. Yes there was a spot that had lost a shingle I asked if they could put one in there if they had enough. My shingles are not white. And I am retired and do not work. As far as the money I have it that is not the issue for me. The issue is they did not repair my roof where they were the insurance said it needed it. And the job they did is awful!!

      Attached is a copy of our contract and photos of the roof repairs. The copy of the contract is very hard to read, however it states “Install Certainteed Landmark Birchwood shingles on the garage and a white 3 tab on the rear of the home where leaking. (valley)”

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The pictures they took were all on top of the roof so you are not going to see the lump in the roof. They were supposed to repair the roof over the bathroom. They instead put shingles on my living room area that had been done about 10 or 11years ago and it was not the part that needed repaired. There was a spot that a few shingles were gone that they were going to replace. That is the line area that they fixed but all of the repair over the bathroom was not done. The gully and roof area is where the repairs were supposed to be done. I have more photos but don’t no how to attach them to this response

      ***** ********* has made multiple attempts to contact the homeowner to schedule a time to discuss the listed issues, with no response from the homeowner. There has been multiple unanswered phone calls extended to the homeowner offering to come up to Lincoln and try to get the problems rectified. It is my fear that the homeowner is unable to pay the remaining contractual balance and is utilizing your services as a way to postpone the completion of her contractual duties. The photos of the bathroom ceiling with water damage that was included in her statements looks exactly like the photos that were taken at the time of the roof inspection with the insurance adjustor, indicating that there is no additional leak, only an unpainted ceiling which she was given credit towards her deductible to complete on her own. Regarding the repairs on the opposite side of the roof, the homeowner asked us to take care of that area. That side had started leaking and while we were replacing the damaged sheathing on the contracted side, asked if we could patch the opposite slope. ********* has yet to bill for the additional requested work, only wanting satisfaction of the contracted amount.

       I am rejecting this response because: I have said before I have the money always have had!!
      Even though it took them 11 months to come mess up my roof They DID NOT repair the roof over the bathroom and that is what my insurance paid for!! I am sorry but I have not received any phone calls since the night he called and TOLD me he was coming over the next day. I had already made plans to go to my other house to try to get it live able If they have called I have not received it!! I do NOT trust them!! They have lied and did not fix where they were supposed to and it took 11 months and a threat of contacting you. Then oh they were here the next day and made a mess of my roof gutters and drip guard I sent pictures of the windows screws for my gutters now in the gutter!! Hole in roof around valley and the valley is a disaster so I am going to get a couple estimates to fix the disaster that they left and I will send them to you
