Claim settlement for damages signed on 01/08/2025, but money was not been received, and we are unable to get any information from the moving company despite multiple phone calls from myself and the adjustors (CSI). I just need my money.

I hired ************************ for my move and they sub contracted it to Ordo Moving. I was over charged for my move. Pick up was May 30, 2024 and delivery was June 10, 2024. The truck they sent to pick up my items could not even hold the cubic square footage that I was charged for. I was told I had to sign the bill of lading or they would not leave with my belongings. I filed my claim for damages on July 16, 2024. I still have not received payment. Items that were packed by the movers were damaged and there were items that never made it to delivery.

I am filing this complaint due to the consistently unacceptable behavior and lack of professionalism displayed by Ordo Moving throughout my move. From the moment Ordo Moving took possession of my belongings, I received no communication whatsoever not a single phone call or email unless I reached out first. Despite being reassured multiple times that my shipment would arrive within a few days, it actually took weeks. This misrepresentation caused me to incur significant unexpected expenses, including meal costs, and replacement essentials I would not have needed had I been given an accurate timeline. I understand that delays can happen in this industry, but being left entirely in the dark made it impossible to plan accordingly. The situation became even more troubling upon delivery. The Bill of Lading explicitly stated that credit card payment would be accepted upon delivery. However, when I attempted to pay with a credit card as agreed, the movers refused to accept it, citing it was up to their discretion. They then left with my belongings, effectively holding my property hostage until I found another form of payment. This is deeply concerning and borders on extortion or theft.Only after I threatened to report them to the BBB, FMSCA, and potentially file a police report did I finally begin receiving any real communication from them.I am requesting a partial refund or reduction in charges to account for the financial burden this experience caused me all of which is documented with receipts, phone records, email chains, and the Bill of Lading itself. I have attached as many as I could to this complaint. I have other records saved to my computer if needed. The total spent on these expenses was $3,204.09.This experience was not only financially damaging but incredibly stressful and unacceptable from a professional standpoint. I hope this complaint prompts a serious review of Ordo Movings policies and practices.

Ordo Moving picked up my items on 12/26/24. My first available move in date was 1/2/25. Their contract gave them 21 business days to deliver my items. After speaking with them multiple times and asking what the delays were they are now trying to move the goalposts and saying they have until the 3rd of February to deliver the furniture despite that being more than 21 business days. They repeatedly promise to call back and never do, and they lock you in early with a low quote, take your deposit, then show up, claim they need an extra thousand or more dollars to haul your furniture and wont give your deposit back if you want to cancel.

    Dear Zyler,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in delivering your shipment. We understand how important it is for you to receive your belongings on time, and we truly regret any inconvenience this has caused.
Your shipment is a small load, which unfortunately took a bit longer than usual to be scheduled for delivery. However, we take full responsibility for the delay, and as a gesture of goodwill, we will be reimbursing you for the delayed days beyond the estimated timeframe.
Regarding the estimate, we want to clarify that your initial quote was accurate and did not increase unexpectedly. The only additional charge applied was $240 for extra packing materials, which you approved before we proceeded with packing. We strive to maintain transparency in our pricing and ensure our customers are fully informed before any additional costs are incurred.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we are committed to delivering your items as soon as possible. If you have any further questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out.
    Best regards,
