Purchased flooring with a lifetime warranty. Flooring was installed by a contractor from Cabinets to Go. Flooring has scratches and no longer properly in place. Inspector came out, took pictures and sent them to Cabinets to Go last year. During this time the original person we were in contact with quit answering emails. Several repeated phone calls to the customer service department never resolved anything. They assigned another contact person for us, but again he quit answering our emails and wont return any phone calls. The case could be under my husbands name, ******* ******.Initial Complaint

Date of Transaction 2/16/2024 Amount paid $14,000 Kitchen cabinets Cabinets look good on the outside but their installers messed up on installing the knobs, they did not use the pilot holes to install the door k**** even though that is how they were installed on the floor models; some of the pilot holes were cracked due to faulty installation. They tried to patch, but now they look worse. I asked them to replace the doors, even though cabinets are 100% fully guaranteed. Owner requested I reach out so they can make things right; they are offering $150 for my inconvenience, they don't appear to be interested in "making it right".Case 97091Business Response

Worked with the Cabinets To Go Store Staff on a cabinet order with butcher block counter tops. after multiple times that the store called to revise the estimate due to their error, we finally decided to place the order which was for $7k. Upon delivery, the order was missing the butcher block countertops. Reached out to the store and corporate office to inform of the errors and the company is refusing to remedy their error. Since November 2023, they have been holding our order hostage thru a pending transaction (which we cannot dispute due to the missing items) and they refuse to fulfil the order based on estimates and discussions on items needed. I have provided communications where they've accepted fault yet do not want to fix the situation and we are made construction plans spending additional money in order to have these cabinets and countertops installed, which was running electrical and lighting.Initial Complaint

We ordered cabinets on Aug 5th. We received them and a bunch were damaged and had missing pieces. And we're discolored. we have been back-and-forth with the company trying to get our kitchen done. we have had guys out here working and had to pay them. it is now almost mid-december and our kitchen is still not finished. they are telling us that we can't return the cabinets even though they're not 100%. That is what we paid for. We did not sign an agreement that if the cabinets were scratched Didn't match were discolored. And there's issues with them that we would still pay full price for that. That is ridiculous. They keep giving us the run around. We want a credit for what we have dealt with. And our cabinets still don't match In our missing pieces. This is not business at all. This is a lot of Money to put out for something that you get and is not even what they say. Then they're very rude to us. They keep pushing us off to somebody else. And then you have to explain everything over again. I have over 55 emails to this company. They won't return anything either. So we're stuck with the c*** that we have. I want to be This compensated for all the trouble in time spent and the money we put Out i'm getting our kitchen put together. It is still not Correct. Again cabinets are not the same colors their scratches and Blemishes all over. We are still waiting for hardware since august. The only reason why they Tried to help is because we were going to dispute it with our credit card company and then the better business Bureau. We are hoping you can help us get A credit for what we deserve for a kitchen. That is not what it should be. Again Cabinets are different colors and some don't work right. I did not pay top Dollar for these Cabinets in order to settle on c*** that doesn't match in our home. This is terrible customer service. I placed an order back in April and received the wrong cabinets in July. Long story short, it has been four months and counting since I reported the error and I am still trying to fix the companys many mistakes. It took nearly a month after I reported the error for the staff to even reorder the correct cabinets. Since then Ive received unfinished, damaged and incorrect cabinets, door and drawer fronts. I was even sent a cabinet using cheaper materials than what I paid for. The staff changed the drawer fronts to a different style than I selected without consulting me. Several staff members were rude and unresponsive. I had a few customer service reps try to blame me for the error but my contract was correct and I did not change the order. I even had one tell me to stop complaining because I was receiving free cabinets! I quickly corrected her and informed her that the cabinets were not free because I paid for them and they were being reordered because they were wrong. I asked for a credit to my account and was told they wont do anything other than keep reordering cabinets to make it right. Its not right that Ive incurred more expenses due to the companys mistakes, have had my project delayed, unable to use my kitchen for extended periods and have been given the runaround. Ive never experienced so many errors from a vendor. At the end of the day, I deeply regret choosing this company. I am hoping to receive the cabinets that I ordered plus compensation for my time and the many inconveniences caused.Initial Complaint

I ordered cabinets and a counter top on 7/30/2022. I used the in store financing which is with ***** *********** The job to install was set for 8/01/2022. Only the cabinets were installed at this time. I was told during the installation of the cabinets that the price for the countertop was higher and they needed to adjust my bill. At that point I canceled the install of the countertop and ordered it from a different company. That company did match cabinets to go original price and installed with no problem. Now, cabinets to go is charging my in store credit of which I do not have a credit card. They tell me the card is being used at the store that I have not been back to. They're also saying I owe for more items now such as trim and other cabinets as well as the countertop I had purchased elsewhere. I have disputed with cabinets to go and ***** Fargo. They say I owe for services and products I did not receive.Business Response

In May 2022, we purchased, up front, over $25,000 in cabinetry from Cabinets to Go in **********. We have had several problems with CTG concerning their accounting practices, including charging us twice for cabinets as we made changes, charging us for shipping though we picked up cabinets at the store, charging the wrong tax rate and refusing to provide us with refunds and an accounting of the order as a whole. There were at least 7 different purchase orders generated including 3 original orders and at least 4 more in changes. 75% of the cabinets were delivered in June. The rest of the cabinets were back ordered until July, then August/September, then October. We finally requested that the colored cabinets that were backordered be changed to white and sent immediately. Changing to white did not change the price, but we had also returned several items and didn't need some of the accessories that were in the original order. CTG sent us a new PO demanding $241 for the white cabinets and $199 in shipping even though it was an even exchange, minus several items and we had already paid for shipping. They said they could not fulfill the order without payment. We requested an accounting, since they repeatedly asked for payments when changes were made, but refused to provide reimbursement for items we didn't receive or we returned. I am told they are "looking into it" or that the request was passed along to their accounting department, which is in a different location, but I don't get responses as promised.Initial Complaint

They installed the wrong quartzs counters in my home. This has been going on for over a month. Ive was lied to by **** the manager in the ******* store. Told me for 3 weeks that he was taken care of it, came out to our home took pictures and video yet he never sent them in to customer service. When I made a complaint with customer care, the excuse for **** us he just weird. I would like my money I spent back.
