1 starTook order. Took money. No food. Called restaurant. Phone had been disconnected, so I assume it is out of business. Have been ordering from this restaurant for many years. Previous order: Order late. Called restaurant. Restaurant never received order from Beyond Menu. They went ahead and delivered it anyway. I should have suspected a problem and called before placing another order, but just assumed computer glitch. Did Beyond Menu ruin their business?Beyondmenu.com

1 starDisappointing delivery service. Food arrived more than an hour after I placed the order online, but the app had promised 30 minutes. I called the restaurant, and they said he was on the way. When he finally arrived he banged on my front door, dropped the food at my door and was dashing away when I opened the door. It took me 1 minute--if that--to open the door after his arrival. The food was lukewarm, by the way. The restaurant, ***** Gourmet, has been my go-to place for Chinese delivery, but if Beyondmenu is their delivery service now, I won't be able to use them again. They used to have a terrific delivery guy who worked for the restaurant.Beyondmenu.com

1 starMade online order at 5:27pm November 30 for pickup 3:45pm next day. showed up at restaurant and learned that Beyond Menu had never advised them. 1 starLiterally took our money off of our card and provided no order confirmation code or anything. Finally got in touch with the restaurant and they hadnt received any order. They gave us the number to the customer service and they were very rude being that they just stole money from us. The customer service rep asked for a confirmation number, I didnt have one since they didnt provide us with one. We just had the bank statement that shows money taken out and a screenshot of the menu website stating there was an error. Then the rep furthermore begins to get irritated and say I didnt give her a phone number or email or amount to look up when the idiot didnt even ask for that!! They are the worst people literally!!! They will steal your money off your card then act like they have no clue what youre talking about. We had to file a dispute with with bank just to receive the money back because these criminals didnt want to process our refund. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! We understand that you had concerns regarding the charge on your card for an order you placed through our website with no order confirmation, and the restaurant did not receive it. When placing an online order, the bank automatically holds out the amount needed, which is the pending charge you saw on your card. If a piece of wrong information was entered or did not match your bank records, for example, an incorrect zip code, the order would not go through, and the pending charge would eventually fall off after 24 to 48 hours.Regarding the rude behavior of our customer service representative, we can assure you that we do not find this type of behavior acceptable, and we would like to address the situation you have described. 1 starThis service was HORRIBLE! After our expensive order wasnt received I called the restaurant 20 mins after expected delivery. They said it was picked up around 30 minutes earlier. Called beyondmenu who gave me the run around about not being able to contact the driver. After some going back and forth with them discovered they had to contact ********! Turns out they outsourced it. But said its marked as out for delivery and to give it 25 mins. Called again and had to reexplain to the same person I wasnt the restaurant but the customer. She was trying to hurry me off with canned responses and wasnt listening to me at all. Called after 20 and got the exact same response. She called back and gave me the same canned response. Waited again and called. Same. After 1 1/2 hrs I said I want to cancel and she said I cant hear you and hung up on me. ** huh. Called and got someone new who knew exactly who I was. I said I wanted to cancel (she said ok) and said I wanted a refund. She said since I canceled she didnt know if could have one!! I said its been 1 1/2 hrs even if theyre planning on delivering I dont want it after driving around with someone so long. Ew. She still wouldnt give me a refund after someone stole my food! 2 starsReview from a Merchant:1. NO merchant portal. Beyond Menu phone agent will tell you there is a Merchant Portal; but when you click on it, nothing happens. VERY non-functional and frustrating. For the simplest thing, you have to 'call' Beyond Menu. Too time-consuming. 2. Supposed to email statements/Invoices twice a month. Every 2-3 months, they will skip sending. Then you have to call again for Invoices. It happens repeatedly. Very disappointing.Thank you.Beyondmenu.com

1 starConfident they do not communicate with the restaurant, a place I love and have ordered from many times. The one time I ordered through them, we waited two hours and called twice, with no result except a promise the restaurant had our order and the delivery person was out. Ill be going back to the restaurant, and will never use this service again. Waiting for the promise that the charge comes off my account, and concerned they have my information at all. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we would like to clarify the misunderstanding on this issue. Though we have recently partnered with a delivery service, most of our partner restaurants including this restaurant which you have mentioned you have ordered from many times, use their own delivery drivers to complete the orders we sent them. As per our record, when you called us twice to follow up on your order, since the restaurant is not answering their phone when you tried to call them, we were able to confirm that the restaurant indeed received your order on time. Both of our **************** Representatives also had a hard time contacting the store and had to use alternate contact numbers we have for the store just to speak with them and give you an update about it. Unfortunately, we have to rely with the restaurant's update since they use their own driver to fulfill your order. Rest assured that we have also coordinate this matter with the restaurant to make sure that this will not happen again in the future. As for the charge on your account, the order has already been cancelled and you can expect for the pending charge on your card to be removed by your bank which could take 3 to 5 business days depending on your bank's lead time. 1 starWe placed a dinner order with this company 30 minutes before the posted cutoff time for online ordering at our chosen restaurant, and twice the order would not go through. The error message was that the restaurant may be closed. The posted closing time for the restaurant was 8:30, and our first order attempt to order was at 7:45pm. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to order, we drove straight to the restaurant to order in person. I called the number posted on the Beyond Menu website, and the customer service representative did not listen at all to what I said, she kept interrupting me and talking over me, then she said it was too late to try to problem solve the issue, even though at that time, there was still 15 minutes time remaining for online ordering through the app. Useless.Beyondmenu.com
