Bought a yardmax mower in 2022, it worked a few times and then would idle down and shut off. Yardmax said it's the air filter so they sent a new one, same problem. Weeks of emails and now it's winter time they send a new engine for it that was damaged. I sent pictures and videos of oil leaking out before the motor was ran. Left with no choice but to install it, so I did and resealed everything. Six months later this motor is now idling down and shutting off same as the other engine. Yardmax said the motor has a defect where gas leaks internally due to a bad seal. They know what the problem is but continue to sell it and send the same engine out. I just contacted yardmax again hoping to get a refund for my money to buy a product that works reliably or an entire new lawn mower with new warranties. I will not dismantle the lawn mower to remove the engine and install a new one, I am not a mechanic nor do I have the time for that.Initial Complaint

Yardmax sold me a $1,500 log splitter. The engine quit working after 30 days of use. Yardmax doesnt support the engine on the splitter THEY sold me and told me to call ***************** (engine manufacturer). The product is under a 1 year warranty but not a single one of the local shops they say honor their warranties will service my splitter (3 of the 4 cant and the 4th wont for some reason). This is fraud of the highest order. I had no idea that my purchase involuntarily entered me into a binary warranty that neither party would honor or I would not have made the purchase. Please help us! Thank youInitial Complaint

I purchase this lawn mower from ****** online on 6/29/2024 and I used this lawn mower 2 times since the day I purchased it. The next time I went to use it. I started putting gas in and it started coming out through the air filter were the carburetor is. I tried to crank the engine and it won't pull it's like locked tight, I call and they told me. I have to take a video and they're telling me that they don't have a repair shop. I have to take it to a repair shop paid out of my pocket.I don't have money to pay a repair shop to repair it. Why can't they find me a repair shop to take it and they pay them.Initial Complaint

Purchased the mower in May of 2023, self propel stopped working. Made adjustments to the cable until it stopped working altogether. They sent us the parts to fix it, when we tore it apart, we found other parts were broke. Had to wait on more parts, had to pay someone to mow our grass plus the rental property, they don't reimburse for that. One agent told us they would pay to have someone fix it for us, other agent says no, they don't do that. We finally got all the part and put back together, 2 months later. The self propel worked for o e mowing and doesn't work, again. The plastic peices on height adjustment broke, the side blower doesn't seal and leaves a line of grass cuttings, it is very difficult to get the bag on and off. There are more issue than should be for an almost $400 mowerInitial Complaint

Purchased a Brand new Lawnmower with 2-year warranty in June of 2023.Since then the drive belt has broken 6 times, and the middle drive pulley has melted twice.I have sent Yardmax pictures of the issue showing them what is causing the problem. They refuse to confirm a fix for the issue, and will not expeditiously send me replacement parts so I can use the mower. They are asking me to send them a Video of the problem, which I cannot do since the parts are broken making the mower inoperable.Initial Complaint

Purchased mower from ****** on 4/16/24. Tried starting mower today after talking to Yardmax customer service, their answer is they are going to send me the parts to fix it myself. I find that as being an unsatisfying answer to honoring their warranty only being less than 3 months old.Initial Complaint

On May 7, 2024 I purchased a yardmax lawnmower online through a Lowes store. I paid a total of $320.23 online through the Lowes store app for the item using my credit card. The lawnmower was supposed to be delivered to my home using ***** as the carrier. I never received the lawnmower. *** filed a claim with both ***** and Yardmax. ***** denied the claim stating they never received the lawnmower from Yardmax. Yardmax states that ***** received the lawnmower from them and lost it. Through several emails Yardmax said that ***** will refund my money. **************** at ***** will not refund the money stating that they are just the middle man and cant give a refund for an item that they dont have in their possession as a return. Meanwhile Ive been defrauded out of $320.23 and neither Lowes, ***** or Yardmax will refund my money due to each saying its not their responsibility. After 3 weeks of not receiving the lawnmower I bought one some place else and started an online return with Lowes in hopes that the yardmax lawnmower would eventually be delivered and I would physically return it to Lowes. I never received the yardmax lawnmower.Initial Complaint
