    the front desk kid was a a****** i told him when i picked up the *** that the wind shield had scratches from bad blades and he said i cant do anything about that i wanted it replaced or fixed he said no we dont do that i would never buy another car from grote automotive

    We are sorry for any inconvenience you have had. We strive very hard to make our customers happy. There are times when we are faced with difficult situations beyond our control as well. There is also human error that doesn't help either. Regardless we apologize for the experience that was less than you deserve. We hit the high note for people 95% (plus) of the time. In most academia that's a solid A! We continue to work on bettering ourselves and appreciate the feedback.

    WARNING: ?? YOU WILL PURCHASE A DEATH TRAP YOU CANT GET OUT OF!!! *********************** and ********** will try to manipulate, lie and do what ever it takes to get a sale!!! *********************** said herself It doesnt matter the price of the vehicle I sell, I get paid the same! Tried to entice by putting the vehicle on marketplace before even having the vehicle checked out by their mechanics! They seek out vulnerable people knowing they are in desperate need of a car to sell them cars that break down in less then a week. When I called to get my trade in back they said thats not how they do it around here. I asked to rip up the contract before the 15 days and they refused and told me my trade in was auctioned the second day after I signed the contract! The convertible top would not latch on the 2nd day I had it. Flipped nearly off on the freeway when I was on my way to have it fixed. Then died on a busy road after I picked my daughter up from school. All within only driving the car less than a full week. Had two be towed twice and fixed twice all within the 30 day contract period. Had to spend $2,000 in rental fees! The Devil Miles **** only offers $5,500 to buy the car back. He even knows it isnt worth it to buy it back!!!! Tried to upsale me a $30,000 car multiple times and refused to do a trade of equal value. These car sales people have no soul and will try to take your blood if they could!!! They wanted me to drive the car home knowing the convertible latch was broken and I almost died in it once when it flipped off!!!! While I was driving with my 6 year old daughter and my 68 year old mother!!!! ********** and *********************** should lose their dealer license!!!! As he continues to brag about his 4 cars, boat and motorcycle!!!! I dont know how these people can sleep at night. Selling bad cars to vulnerable people who cant afford a new car from a real dealership!!! GROTE AUTOMOTIVE should be shut down!!!!!! A bunch of lying crooks who will minipulate the vulnerable!!!! So SAD

    ******, I cannot get into personal details in a public forum. We show that you had your own mechanic give this car his "OK" before you bought it. We inspect the cars (as you had your mechanic do) and we do reconditioning based on that information. After the car is sold, we do stand behind them as well (as we did here). Our business continues to be plagued with supply chain issues lingering since covid as well. I'm sorry for any inconvenience you had in this process, and we will continue to serve the community as best we can.

    I had a very stressful experience buying a car. I went in for their "Summer ***** promo offering up to $5000 trade in. I was shown two cars they said were in my range. I drove one and it was ok, but there were things wrong, like only one headlight bulb and wiper blade and I would install them one headlight, rear wiper replaced, and severe cracked leather on driver's door and center console. The first lady I worked was nice and decent to me. I took car home overnight, then brought back the next morning. The lady I worked with was not there, and they gave me another salesperson. I felt the new salesperson started out friendly, then was being pushy with both the paperwork and the interaction with me. When I said I needed to go to ************ to take out the rest of the payment, he offered to go with. We went to Midland and he followed me in the bank, needing the restroom. The teller told him there were no public restrooms at which he replied loudly "Fine, I'll just go on the bushes outside!" I was asked if he was with me, I said he is a Grote employee. I was so embarassed! This was my bank! We went back to the dealership and I just wanted to get the h*** out of there. I got two "we owe" papers for items to be fixed. I tried to make an appt for the upholstery repair but got the runaround. Not wanting to drive with one headlight, I asked for the parts and would just do it myself which I did. So much for their motto of building relations with customers..and employees like *******************--I think he should be wrote up and fired for his inappropriate actions.

    ***** we are very sorry for your bad experience. As we sell cars so quickly, we are oftentimes stuck with supply chain issues still lingering from covid. That said we have no excuse for remarks that were made by one of our advisors. We understand everyone has bad days but never translate that into the experience of our guests. We will be sure to take your words very serious and follow up with appropriate action. Thank you for your honestly and we hope to serve you better in the future.

    They are horrible people they sold me a car that isn't worth keeping not even three days after I get the vehicle the check engine light flashes when you hit 50 or better, the car smells of gas and the tires screech and pulls to the right really hard after braking.I gave the car back stating I didn't want it and they told me to drop it off on Saturday which i did now they are trying to force me to pick it up, the bank I went through said that they can cancel it and buy the vehicle back and they are basically telling me they can't. I Got a call today stating they don't see any problems with it and I'm like seriously so you're calling me a liar?he was stated no but laughed behind it. I'm not taking it back and that's that!

    Horrible dealership. Continually run my credit without written consent weeks and months after my original purchase date with texts stating not to run my credit and they did. Sold me a vehicle with a lot of problems and have done nothing to settle this. I have been patient. I asked them to refund me or buy it back (while Id still be taking a loss and they said no. I will be filing a lawsuit and continually attempting to get my money back from this dealer. I would never recommend this dealer to another person ever again and if they ever tell you to go through their service department. DO NOT. their service department is worse than their sales practices. Absolutely awful.

Please come to see ***** and we can hammer out what's true and fact if you like. We help ****s of people every year when nobody else wants to or even can. 96% of our customers are incredibly happy. In any school anywhere that's an A or maybe even A+. We strive for 100% but its simply not in the cards in the car business. Sorry we missed the **** for you and let ** know how we can further help!

    I purchased my 2014 ***** spark LS 2/6/2023 it had just over ****** miles & when I first got it no issues for the first 24 hours. After day 1 i noticed it was leaking oil my gas was going fast. So I contacted grote- a week after owning it they took it in claimed it was just a thermostat DESPITE ME SAYING I THOUGHT IT WAS MY TRANSMISSION. So then a few days after i get it back- my thermostat goes out again my car is over heating and not shifting and you can feel my car jerking. I call AGAIN- this time they ignored me for 3 weeks- I called DAILY leaving voicemails with ****************** at the fromt desk of grote. they finally took my car in- said it was a cluster fan. they ordered the part and i waited 2 weeks for it to come in- but when they gave me the paperwork to hold onto while i waited i read it. 1/20/2023 my trans was replaced so I took it upon myself to take my car to my OWN family mechanic to see what he saw was the issue; I was correct. So I immediately called grote. IT TOOK ANOTHER WEEK for them to answer me with multiple messages and voicemails left. All the reader would diagnose WAS MY THERMOSTAT. So i took it in they- they didnt believe me. I told them if they think I'm a liar to go drive my car around the mall. They came back in not even 5 minutes later APOLOGIZING because they felt what I did too. They then told me they couldn't take my car in until APRIL 6. My car had a warranty for ****** miles OR until May 6,2023 whatever comes first. So April 17- my car had been in there 11 days. So I took it upon myself and asked if they would extend my warranty; I was told that when they sold me this car there was no visible issue with my transmission so they are not liable for that. When I got my car back- they said my transmission will still be under warranty but nothing else will even though they had it basically the whole time. Now my engine lights on again & theyll only fix it free if its the thermostat or transmission issues that they fixed before. Jokes!

    If I could give them ZERO stars I would!******** ********* people!They held me there over 2 hours trying to force me into a deal at over $257 dollars a week!!They have ran my credit to over 20 different banks in the last month without my permission.Ruined my credit score!Absolutely no reason for this!I called them to stop this and they are still over a month later submitting my information to banks!

As far as how credit score works, the bureaus DO give a slight drop for the inquiry's but they do not give much when a person has multiple for a like transaction. Below is a link to better educate yourself. Lastly we really do strive to pile on happy customers as best as we can. We do not pay our salespeople on sale profit ( I think we are the only dealer in this market that does it that way). What this means to our customers is the salesperson fights HARD to get you the very best deal and NOT care about profits. This creates honesty and hard work for you in the transaction vs fighting to get you to pay MORE. ************************************************************************************************" For example, if you shopped around for an auto loan with five different lenders over a period of 45 days, FICO would consider those five hard inquiries as one hard inquiry for credit scoring purposes.     I went in on March 9, 2023 to purchase a car, we agreed on a 2019 **** Fusion he said all it needed was new tires and a censor and it would be available Friday for pick up, well Friday came and car wasnt ready. A week goes by still no car, as they did inspection they found this wrong and that wrong. So they had me come in and tried to sell me a busted up interior 2022 ******* ELANTRA, locks didnt work and back up camera didnt work, it wasnt even 24 hours and I returned car. They then put me in a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu. I have the car for a week, a week and I get a text from sales guy that I needed to come back in there was an issue. I asked what, and he refused to tell me. He said eventually paper work issue. So I stopped in there and waited 45 minutes and left. He texted me asked where I went I said I already invested enough time in there run around and wasnt wasting anymore of my time. He than proceeded to tell me cause I lied on my financial report (they had allll my income, my whole tax return at that) my **** tax papers to tell me my auto financing rejected me and they want to put me in a **** fusion. So I gotta waste more my time. They have been steady running my credit daily, numerous times a day without even asking me if thats ok. Ive had the car a week!!!! This is the most unorganized place, Very unprofessional at that too. At this point its been almost a month dealing with this place, and I just want my $2,000 back that I put on a down payment. This has been mentally anguishing on me, a car buying experience shouldnt give someone so much stress where I am loosing sleep, have extreme anxiety to where its physically making me sick.
