Awful! Stay away from ALL Auffenberg dealerships! They're a sham and only want to take your money!Two years ago I bought a 2015 ***** Equinox from Auffenberg, and in less than a year one of the seals on the engine broke and the transmission had metal shards in it... requiring almost $10,000 worth of repairs. I had to trade it in (at another dealership), but totaled that car in an accident. On a friend's recommendation I went back to Auffenberg, thinking my experience two years ago was a fluke. TWO WEEKS after buying my new Jeep, the engine light came on. I called the dealership about it as I'd not even made a payment on this vehicle yet, but I was told that the terms for my bumper-to-bumper warranty were 15 days OR ******************************************************************** I tried to get it in to their service department, but they were booked solid for two months. I was then told that if I dropped the car off with them that they would fix the issue for free if the total was less than $200, but they couldn't supply a loaner car for me to use, nor could they assure me that the total would be less than $200, so I would've had to pay for a rental and potentially hundreds of dollars in repair. I was able to take my car to another certified dealership. They determined that A: I was not registered with CDJR (something that should've been done upon purchase). B: There was a recall on my Jeep since January 2021 that was never addressed (I bought my Jeep in Aug. 2023). C: There was a crack in the neck of the fuel tank (probably was there for a while before purchase, they said) and an emissions seal blew. Altogether I paid $800 for repairs less than a month after receiving my car!!Auffenberg only cares about the bottom line. They don't care about quality or customer satisfaction. They never inspected the car or even addressed the outstanding recall. They didn't take care of me, and chances are they won't take care of anyone else either. Avoid at all costs!
