  I believe this company is a scam. I ordered a pair of sandals. It took over a month for them to arrive. The sandals looked NOTHING like the picture on the website. I reviewed my order multiple times to make sure I had the correct order. Very cheap, plastic, disposable-looking sandals. The poorly applied glue could be seen all around the sole. There was nothing orthopedic about the sole - just flat plastic. I immediately asked to return them. They replied promptly with a Word Doc containing instructions to return to this address: Building 7, No.**** ****in West Road ******* industry zone,******* District Shaoxing City
  Zhejiang, China 312300. Shipping would be my cost which I researched would be at least $35, some estimates were over $100. I think Orthofit counts on the customer not proceeding with the return because of prohibitive costs so they can pocket the money. WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY FROM ORTHOFIT

  Don’t get sucked in to buy!! Cheap plastic soles that are not safe. I contacted the company about a refund. Due to receiving them after I had major foot surgery, then broke my kneecap, I had no way to return them within the 30days. I was & am still upset!!! I spent almost $170 & will be throwing my entire order in the trash. They did tell me I could donate them. Ha! The shoes NOT safe for anyone to wear! After constantly contacting them, I finally did get 15% refund-whoopee! I figured it was better than nothing. The products look good on top, but the sole….,an accident waiting to happen.

  This is a scam store. The shoes are cheaply made and no way match the description. They say there is extra arch support, when in fact, there is none. I wanted to return for a refund, but they make it very difficult. They said I would have to pay to return them to China which would be very expensive. They said they would give me a 20% refund.
  Bad mistake ordering from this company which states shoes are made in America.

  If I could give a lower review I would. First, I contacted them 4 minutes after placing order, to change it. They said it was too late. Next, it took a long time for delivery because it came from China. To return the items you have to China at your expense. Slides were too big, sneakers were made cheaply with little to no arch support. I realize itis my fault for not checking reviews ahead of time.

  SCAMMERS in addition to poor quality and sizing, false claims, limited customer service. More importantly, the double order scam and then no refunds unless you pay to have them shipped back to china. I did a credit card dispute for dishonest and deceptive business and got my credit card account reimbursed.

  The worst!!!!! Product did not look anything like the pictures: very cheap and smelled funny When I inquired about refund /return I was told I had to fill out the form they sent to my email and send the shoes back. HOWEVER, the only address listed on the form to maill them back to was in China-even though the return address on the packaging was in IL. No invoice/packing slip included in the shipment, I didn't want to even rate as 1 star as I feel they don't even deserve that.

  BEWARE PLEASE DON'T ORDER...
  Horrible shoes nothing like the pictures. Can not return due to them being out of China and it costing more to ship back then your shoes cost. No customer service number just email. Don't get SCAMMED like me.

  We ordered Orthofit shoes as advertised for the comfort and to alleviate foot pain. We received the product and they are not what is advertised; they are cheap shoes with plastic soles and do not provide the cushion and support we thought was advertised . When asking to return the product they offer a 10% refund vs shipping the product back to China at a cost equal to the product original cost. This company in my opinion misleads customers on the products advertised. Buyer please be aware and further research the company before making any purchases

  Minus stars would be more accurate! Scam business trading on company name's resemblance to another, OrthoFeet, a wonderful company with quality products. Shoes were junk, too small, yet return policy states any shoes that that have been tried on can not be returned due to "our strict hygiene policy." Fraud! Avoid at all costs!

  To all the people that have been scammed by this company, I feel sorry for you all. I also agree with all your comments because as a 70 years old woman, I ordered a pair of shoes that arrived not even closed to the picture that was shown. Orthofit not only deceived me sending cheap made imitation shoes without insoles or Orthofit brand named anywhere in the shoe but frayed, flimsy stinky shoes made in *****. Every bad review is absolutely TRUE! I have to admit they thought I was going to give up, but I did not! Today, I got the verdict from ****** "Case closed in my favor" ! I also proceeded to file a case with the Department of Commerce, and Louisiana State ********* against ORTHOFIT. Think about it, the shoes that they sell are mostly for elderly people, and they are making money out of us and sending c*** from *****. They also want us to pay the expenses to send them back to *****. There's any place in their site that said shoes have to be send back to *****. It says FREE RETURNS, FREE SHIPPING It took about 15 days for me to received them and two months to get it resolved. But again, I did not give up. PLEASE DONT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ORTHOFIT, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
