      These are my order details and some of the numerous correspondence I have had with ******************* company. I also have a few text messages that they initially sent me but have since stopped responding. I sold 43 books to them because I desperately needed the money and I have contacted PayPal since they said they are having a problem with PayPal but PayPal said they have not received any payment for me at ******************* Please help!       I submitted a book buyback to this company and they are now not wanting to pay me for them, even after the allotted time to do so and they have taken possession of my property. So basically they have now stolen from myself. I am owed $21.27 for buyback # *******. I greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

      We were recently made aware that a book of our company (Northwest Treasures) is being advertised for sale at the web site for this company, SecondSale.com. The book is called, Bedrock Geology: A Biblical Approach, The Northwest Treasures Curriculum Project. The author is listed as ***********************. This is fraudulent. The author is *************************. This book is copyrighted material. You will notice on their web site that they do not provide a copy of the cover of the book. That could be because the cover has the name of ************************* on it, who is the real author of this book. We have attempted to contact the company numerous times to remove the book. They have not replied. We have also sent a certified letter to them. We want them to remove the book immediately from their web site, and anywhere else it might be listed under this fraudulent author's name.You can see the book and supporting materials here: ***********************************************************************************

      I sold hundreds of dollars worth of books and media, used their shipping labels for ****** After I shipped off 5 boxes I got emails for all of them saying I was missing several books from each. I emailed to no response I called and left a message to no response. I only got a response after I messaged their ******** page. I then got an email that they were contacting the carrier for weight so they can compare it to what they received. Later I got another email in response to my complaint to their business page saying they have not received any email communication from me after checking, despite responding to my email hours before.It is obvious they are not being honest and I cannot get a response from them regarding the status.

      I purchased a book titled "October" by ********************* from this company. The company sent an unwanted, unrelated book ("Green ******* worth approximately 1/10th the value of the book I purchased. I informed them within one day of the wrong delivery. They insisted I send a photo of the wrong book. I did. They apologized and stated that I could keep or discard the wrongly sent book and that they had initiated a refund, which would be returned to my card in 2-3 business days. After waiting twice that time, I contacted them again. It quickly became obvious that they had not refunded my money. Upon this contact, they insisted that I initiate a return (of a book they had already invited me to discard). I have discontinued contact. I expect a return of my money expeditiously. All communications between me and company are in writing.

      I purchased a book w/CD (Adobe Illustrator CS5) on 8/27/23 for $9.95. I could have sworn I used PayPal, but the receipt said ****** Pay. I wouldnt even know how to use that online. My Order Reference # PUUYXALXZ.When I received the book, there was no CD in it. The book is useless to me. I needed the program to access a certain type of file. When I wrote to the company to complain, they told me that not all the books have the CD in them. They refused to refund my money.That is fraud! I can send you a copy of the receipt that clearly states it comes with the CD.

      I ordered a law school casebook from this company and received the wrong one. (Order Return Request By customer :******************. They got back to me and said they would include a shipping return label but never did. I followed up twice and they never responded.

      On 6/14/23 I ordered a book- "******* and the Great War...." which Second Sale has not yet delivered. Second Sale refuses to answer my messages both by email and phone. Also the quality of their books is not as advertised- very poor quality. I would appreciate an explanation for their poor customer service and the delivery of the book or refund of my charges.       This business is claiming to be BBB accredited yet I do not see them on this website. I made sure to verify their accredidation before checking out, and I see that they are not on the database under that name. They need to either take the claim down or get accredited but they are openly lying on their website.

      On July 14, 2023 I placed an order for nine books with Second Sale Books on their website seconsale.com. Now making this complaint their company only shows here as EZ Book Recycle *** with the same address. I have uploaded my purchase receipt, the response from them to my return/refund request for damaged filthy water stained all pages curled books, two pictures of the damaged books and the *** page from their website for Damaged or ***orrect Items and What Is Your Return/Exchange Policy.I sent my request on the form provided on their website along with the pictures of the damaged books three times, I have received no response. I also left messages on their telephone number ************. I also listed my complaint on Trustpilot.com that they request that you rate them on, IRONICALLY when I previously rated them five stars they sent me a thank you, now no response.I have been doing business with this company for over three years purchasing several books on each order and I have never made a complaint nor requested a return/refund. Now I am done doing business with this company and only want my money refunded.Please note that in their response to my return/refund request they stated that I am to pay to return the filthy damaged books that they sent me and that if they determine that I did not pack the books correctly they will also charge me for any damage they determine. Please see their *** Page I uploaded that states that they have the ability to "send a shipping label to return the item to us for a refund." The same no charge to the customer when they are selling back their used books to them.They mailed nine books, three being hardcovers in a single plastic bag not doubled not tripled not in a box. I am not complaining about the two bent hardcovers only the filthy water stained all pages curled books. This is a used book company so you can expect a little wear maybe even a tear or two, but filthy water stained books out of the ***** IS NOT EVER ACCEPTABLE.

      EZ Book Recycle and Second Sale Books email me stating "WE ARE SORRY TO HEAR THAT THIS HAS OCCURRED AND FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED" AND NOW TO CAUSE ME MORE INCONVENIENCE I HAVE TO MAKE TIME TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE THAT IS 4 MILES ROUND TRIP FROM MY HOME STAND IN A VERY LONG LINE TO RESEND THEM BACK THE FILTHY NASTY OUT OF THE ***** BOOKS THAT THEY SENT ME THAT I SENT THEM PHOTOS OF RATHER THAN JUST REFUND ME MY MONEY FOR THEIR NASTY BUSINESS ERROR !!!!!    NO WAY IS THIS COMPANY GOING TO WASTE ANOTHER MOMENT OF MY TIME AND MONEY. THIS IS A MINOR LOSS FOR ME COMPARED TO ALL THAT IS OCCURRING IN THE ***** TODAY.

      I am rejecting this response because: After almost 4 years I am totally done doing any business with EZ Book Recycle and SECOND SALE BOOKS who is whom I did business with first though AbeBooks then on SECOND SALE BOOKS SITE directly. This is the first time I ever had a complaint with a sale with them and I always purchase **** books each time I place an order **** times a year. Please do not contact me again regarding these DOING BAD BUSINESS SELLING FILTHY DAMAGED DIRECTLY OUT OF THE ***** BOOKS. I have severed all dealings with these companies.
