My name is ********************. I got married on August 5, 2020. We used Evians Photo to caption memories using their photo and video service contracted at six hours. We paid in full at the amount of $2,019 Roughly.After the wedding we received a bill from them stating we were charged an extra $200 dollars for extra service. I reached out to Evians Photo to rectify the situation. They said we were being charged for the videographer and photography person staying over the 6 hours limit. I spoke to a supervisor. *************** From client services at Evians Photography Corporate Headquarter responded back a couple of days later. I explained to *************** that I never had a conversation with either the videographer or the photographer during the wedding about extending time nor did I sign any contractual paper. I told her I didnt sign the paper and she said she would investigate it further and call me back. Now *************** is reporting that it didn't matter if I signed the paper or not. She insisted that I agreed for them to stay extra time. Therefore, there was no need for me to sign anything if I told them to stay longer. I explained to her once more that I never had a conversation during any of the time at the wedding of them staying longer. I also explained to her that I had email conversations prior to the wedding with the photographer discussing about not going over time. I could come later so we dont go over time. We have forwarded the emails to ***************. After trying to explain all this to ***************, she is still telling us that we must pay them extra $200, or they would not release our photos after already paying over $2,000 dollars.We are asking for your help and to find a happy medium to get this resolved. Due to the fact we never agreed for them to stay extra time or agreed to using their services after their contracted time was completed. My wife and I paid in full for our photos. Prior to our wedding. After they said an additional fee was required to ship our wedding album which my wife then paid. After they took a total of 5 additional payments out of my account totalling $260 additional *******. *** the representative has been avoiding us and placing blame on the banks for the additional charges. Plus blaming us for mishandling information. He also states that we were refunded when the prior phone conversation was had to cancel the 5 additional charges and send our album. Our wedding photos are being held hostage and he's requesting an additional $800 for Eivans to replace our album.Business Response

We had our wedding 12-18-2021 and hired their services signing a contract that we would get all photos from wedding and engagement, an album, a full HD video 30min-60 min WITH A DOWNLOADABLE OPTION, and a highlight video WITH A DOWNLOADABLE OPTION. We never received a video with a downloadable option and now they are telling me to get that video it will cost $760 for an unarchiving fee. They broke their contract due to the fact we dont have a video to access anymore and we were never offered the downloadable option. They said since we didnt not fill out an acceptance form after they sent us the video that we now have to pay. I prepaid for each item and did not receive everything I originally paid for. I would like a downloadable option of the videos they originally sent to me since that is what was in the contract. I accept the video as is and dont need any edits or changes.Business Response

We paid Evian in full 15 months before the expected wedding date. A couple months after we paid we noticed that the date we choose would be conflicting with graduation dates of our nephew. So we called Evian to do a change of date 12 months in advanced. Evian said we had to pay an additional 500 dollars to change the date. We were furious but after talking to one of their customer service rep they said they would waive the fee. So we filled out the change request but still got an invoice for 500 dollars. By this time my fianc and I were debating if the wedding was worth it due to many expenses. So my fianc and I decided to cancel the wedding. Evians said we would have to pay an additional 500 dollars along with the change of date 500. Keep in mind they have already have our full payment which we understand is not refundable. But for this company to take advantage of the legal system and hide behind a very broad contract that gives Evian full autonomy over any decision is despicable. We want to just walk away from the company but this company is so greedy they expect more money for not doing a single thing. They have literally done nothing for us and are trying to extort us for $1000. Do not use this company hired locally photographer in your area.Business Response
