    I have been struggling to get my son into driving lessons every month. When I call for assistance, I encounter some of the rudest people. How can a company sign up more students than they can actually accommodate? I often leave messages but never receive a callback. Today, I was told that I didnt get a response because "we have 100 messages." This was conveyed in a very passive-aggressive manner. When I express my frustration, I receive no resolution. This company should not be allowed to take people's money if it cannot provide the service.

    I paid for a teen driver program in 04/2025 to start 08/2025. The day of the in person classes when we showed up we were told no classes were happening. This was never relayed to us. After finally getting a person on the phone we were told sorry but they didnt end up doing the classes for which we paid and were scheduled for. We were stuck having to do the online version. Now that its time to schedule the driving part; there are no classes available. They say they upload the upcoming months schedule the first Wednesday of the month by noon. Ive sat at my compuer since 830am and all classes are booked/unavailable. Ive made many calls, left voicemails, emailed them and no response whatsoever. I want my money back to go elsewhere!!!!

    My son completed his driving class with Top Driver in ***********, **. He completed all requirements and completed all his drive time. We now need to schedule him for his final road test and cannot because the instructor in the ****************** has not entered any of his class time into the system. So in the system it looks as though he has no class attendance. We have spoke to customer service several times and they just keep telling us that they have emailed the instructor and there is nothing more they can do. It seems as though more should be done to get in contact with this instructor. We paid a lot of money for this class and to be dismissed like this is not their problem is an issue.

We apologize for the delay, which was caused due to the instructor being on Bereavement Leave and us having to investigate the proper attendance.     I signed my daughter up with top driver to do in car driving classes on 7/25/25. Ohio State law requires eight hours of in car driving before you get your drivers license. *********************** program is $439. You are required to pay the fee upfront. This is where my complaint lies. You cannot get in to schedule any drivers classes. They release classes once a month. Today at noon for September were released. Today at noon there were no classes available for us to schedule. So now we are looking at trying to schedule classes in November. That is absolutely unreasonable and theyve taken my money. And cant provide the service. I want a full refund.

    I have reached out to our General Manager for Ohio, *** ******, and was given the following information. Mr. ****** is going to try to reach out to resolve their issues, but will authorize a refund if we are unable to do so. 

    * Customer enrolled 7/25/25.
    * We are not scheduling into November. We just started scheduling in September, and have an additional instructor in training.
    * We have a signed contract stating we have 6 months to provide services.
    * Ohio law provides us 6 months to complete.

    I am rejecting this response because: your September dates were full as of 12pm on the day they were released. We were online right at noon & nothing was available. Accessing your classes is very difficult. We did get a refund & will be going elsewhere.

    Good Afternoon,

    As was outlined in our previous response, this was their first opportunity to schedule BTW on 8/6/25, after enrolling on 7/25/25. 8/6/25 was the date our September schedule was released. We acknowledge the limited availability on that day, however we have an instructor in training who will be able to provide additional availability soon. Our extensive training process can take months. Whenever customers are experiencing issues with scheduling, we put them on a call list and reach out when there is additional availability. This customer demanded a refund after experiencing their first issue. We would have been able to schedule their *** during the required 6 months without issue, but a refund was demanded immediately. This refund was issued immediately without dispute, even though we we were not in breach of contract.

    My husband and I signed our son up for in car lessons at Top Driver. The schedule of availability was not visible on their website so we paid in full expecting to be able to then view the availability and schedule his lessons. However, they still have the schedule blocked out so that you are unable to see their availability. I spoke with customer service on 5/9 and all they will tell me is they have availability in June, they refuse to provide me with a date. I have requested a full refund as I have not received a single service from them and they are refusing. I requested to speak with a manager and they are conveniently unavailable, but they will send them an email for me and I should hear back within 3 business days. Again, I have not even been able to view availability or schedule a single ******* yet they are refusing to give me my money back. I highly advise to stay FAR, FAR away from this company for your driving school needs.

    This business has a big problem with their scheduling of in-person driving. They take your money for a subpar online course (almost 100% profit) then when you go to schedule the in-person driving they are immediately booked. I checked multiple times a day. I even wrote an app that logged into the site and checked the schedule every 10 seconds. How is anyone ever able to book something. It's like a lottery - not a legit business. It never changed it was fully booked immediately. It always said "No Available Open Slots Important Scheduling Note: On the 1st Wednesday of each month by noon, we load available lessons for the following month. Also, keep in mind that we often have cancelations or other additions throughout each month so please keep checking back. Message Code: 108"

    Good Morning,

    I had our General Manager in **** review the account for this student and gathered the following information:

    * Customer has not uploaded online classroom cert of completion per welcome packet. We need this completed prior to scheduling BTW.
    * Customer enrolled into online bundle and 8 hours of BTW on Feb 28th.
    * For online combo/bundle students, **** rule permits 6 months to get online classroom done and additional 6 months to get btw completed.
    * If we can get online cert of completion uploaded by customer, we can schedule lessons.
    * Assuming student finished online in mid March, we would have several months still to fulfill contract.
    * We have an instructor that was going to make contact with customer todayhowever we need cert of completion to officially schedule.

    We signed up my son to take driving lessons through Top Driver. He completed the classwork but has to **** * hours of driving lessons by June 22, 2025. If they are not completed, they charge you $99 per month because the driving lessons are not completed by then. The problem is, they release dates to sign up the second Tuesday of the month at noon. I was logging in at 11:45 and at noon, their site freezes up and their phone lines will not go through. I have tried scheduling the drives but by 12:45, the slots are all filled. That was when I could finally get in. I finally got through to a caller on the phone at around 1pm and she could not help me. ******** customer service. Told me they have a shortage of drivers for months but continue to take our $600 and not fulfill their contract by having drivers so my son can get his drives in. I asked if I could go to another school and get the drives in but she said she would have to cancel his permit and he would have to start over. So now we are stuck and no solution has been made. I asked for a manager and they may take a week if they do, to get back to me. Please help!!!!

    We sign** our son up for drivers ** at Top Driver, ******** location. We were requir** to pay the full fee upfront $860 when we sign** up in August 2024 for a class that began Nov. 2. Classroom portion was fine; but the requir** time driving behind the wheel has been impossible to get. Our son receiv** his permit in Nov 2024, a requirement before sch**uling behind the wheel lessons. Going online again and again for days after receiving the permit, there was never any open slots for him to sign up for an in car ******* When I call** I was told that I had to go online at noon the one day of the month where they open** the slots for the next full month, or that I could call to have them sign him up. They told me there was nothing they could do to get him sign** up beyond that. First time they open** the slots in January, I couldn't go on at noon. I went on a few hours later and all the slots were already gone for the whole next month. Today I was hover** over my computer before noon when they open** slots for the month of March. Their website kept crashing because of so many people on it. By the time I got through, I got several responses that the slot I tri** to get was full. (I have 20 screenshots documenting all of the error messages.) I also was trying to call them per their instructions and the phone was busy and the call would not go through -- about 20 tries there that I can show logg** on my phone. I did ultimately get two driving slots via the online method before everything was completely book** before 12:45 p.m., 45 minutes after they open** slots. Beyond the absolute insanity of me having to waste 50 minutes of my workday to try to sign up for lessons that I have already paid for in full and lessons that the state of ******** requires my son to take, I have 0 confidence that he will be able to complete the allott** lessons in the time frame allow**. I should be able to call and get these last six lessons sch**ul** now. Their system is unacceptable.

    Top Driver fails to meet students needs by their instructors being lazy and not attempting to practice maneuverability with students during rain. They say that they take 10 business days to issue a certificate and dont utilize a disclaimer that they make up what days are business days for their business. IE they are closed the day after thanksgiving so thats not a business day to them. When you speak to customer service they refuse to assist you and meet your needs and refuse to allow you to speak to a supervisor.

    We have reviewed this customer's account and I have collected the below information from our Ohio General Manager.

    1. Customer paid $429 not $600 as they are refuting.
    2. **** gives a customer and a business 6 months to complete all required elements of training. In this customers circumstance, they would have been provided 6 months for the online course and 6 months to complete the 8 hours of BTWs.
    3. Customer completed/uploaded online cert of completion on 10.16.2024.
    4. Customer scheduled and completed all 8 hours of BTWs by 11.22.24.
    5. Maneuverability/cones practice is not required on EVERY ******* Top Driver goes up and above to try and practice at least 3 times, if not 4 times depending on weather and traffic conditions.
    6. Cert of completion was issued on 12/5/24 (see attached) the same day and within a couple hours as the customer call in/complaint.

    Top Driver nor any Top Driver representative involved has done anything below provide excellent service.

    We originally went to ******* Driving and they never provided services. Top Driver bought ******* unbeknownst to us. We then paid and went with Top Driver not realizing that they were Allstar and the same people. They took the money and never provided my son who is over 18, lessons. They have refused to schedule him. We are asking for our money back.
