1 star******* E I have been dealing with Camping World Rv Sales on Irlo ******* Hwy, *********, ** for many years and have had several issues in the past with multiple rv's. I am addressing the most recent issues.First it involves a leak in one of the bathrooms. A soft spot was noticed under the linoleum floor and I sent it for repair. First I was told it was from toilet bowl, then I was told from tub and conveniently wanted more money. The moisture had also developed in the wall. They also did linoleum wrong and had to replace it. Then all of a sudden the sink was leaking which also caused water damage to the cabinet under sink. Also they didn't fix the cabinet that they broke. They sent a guy to inspect and he said he tried to rectify problems but did not say or try to rectify anything. So now ***** the service dept manager, who I have dealt with in a mostly negative way in the past, tells me after one issue turning into several more costly issues that he / Camping World wasn't paying to fix anything. I haven't gotten anywhere with there corporate office, customer service is the worst i've ever dealt with. Everything about this company is bad. I'm really surprised they still have a company.Review fromScott B

1 starIn June of 2023 I purchased a brand new ******* ******* pull behind camper from Camping World in ******** ********. The purchase of this camper has become a nightmare. The unit was never completely constructed with major issues. These issues are the following:*Electrical not working ******************* lines hanging off the unit Approximately 3 inches from the units chassis *Plumbing in the Bathroom shower on ran to the tanks *Missing Molding on the floor *Running lights, turn signals, and LED running lights not working.*Now the Air Conditioners dont work at all Camping World Stated to me that you have to work the bugs out of a unit. This is now the 3rd camping season I have had this unit and will miss another season towork out the bugs.Camping World has also stated that they only sell units , not build ******** can you not stand behind a product you sell?If this is the case, Camping world should be fighting on my behalf to get my money back on this lemon but nothing has been done with a follow up with Heartland with this matter. The General Manager of Camping World has not contacted me on this subject throughout the entire endeavor.I have been patient throughout this issue for 2.5 years and something needs to happen.I have been paying for this unit and can not use it.Camping World and Heartland need to make this right.Review fromjuli h

1 starCamping World Mesa Consignment is the worst. We consigned a beautiful 2022 Fleetwood Discovery 38N on March 13, 2025. The dept never did a thing to get the motorhome ready to consign, It is still dirty, they have damaged while it has sat there in their back lot for three months. They lost our original title. The consignment dept is a joke. The don't answer the phone or return phones calls. When you go in there, other sales people are unware our MH is even there. It sits in the back lot. Noone is taking control of it. We are now thinking about getting representation because of this breach of contract, losing our paperwork, costing us money to continue insurance (300/month) and we could be receiving a refund on the $ 4000 AZ registration if the would get their act together. I am sorry for complaing but we have owne two care lots in our day and the customer service here is a nightmare. When I see customers walking out of the store, all I think is Oh No they are in for a nightmare. I have sent emails to Marcus the CEO at one time, now today I sent an email to Marcus, Seth the Regional Manager, and James Dixon the GSM at the store. Hate to do this, but they don't care about our stress with them. My husband is almost 80 and has had two brain surgeries and he does not need this. So much for their big patriotic flag outside their stores. Do not do business with them at least the Mesa, AZ store. We thought about buying another camper there but after this, forget it. 1 starDescription of My complaint:
Category: RV- Campers Sales and Financing Complaint Title: Dealer Withholding Loan Disclosures Unless ID
Provided Summary:
I contacted Camping World of Richmond (Indiana) on July 3er 2025 to inquire about financing on a travel trailer. I requested a breakdown of the loan terms (APR, monthly payment, out-the-door price). The dealership refused to provide this information unless I submitted a photo of my driver's license, even though I had already completed a credit application elsewhere through the same dealership chain. They ignored my rights under the Truth in Lending Act to review the terms before proceeding. After I mentioned the law, they stopped replying altogether. This appears to be a bait-and-switch tactic and violates fair lending transparency standards.Review fromAdam C

1 starOur experience with Camping World has been incredibly frustrating. We purchased a camper on 06/06 and have yet to use it even once due to multiple unresolved issues. When we picked it up, it was closing time and all of the shop staff had already left, leaving us unsure whether to wait or just leave. From that point on, we’ve been in limbo.
We were never given a power cord—an essential item—which they claimed would be mailed to us. As of 06/17, we still haven’t received it. After getting the camper home, we discovered several problems and spent an entire day trying to speak with someone, only to be repeatedly brushed off.
Thankfully, the receptionist, Sammy, finally stepped in and helped us get the camper dropped off that same evening. It wasn’t until later that one staff member called to apologize for how he spoke with my husband—admitting they “got off on the wrong foot” and that he wasn’t aware of all the issues we were dealing with, despite several employees at Camping World already knowing.
The lack of communication and follow-through has been unacceptable. We’re incredibly disappointed and would not recommend this location based on our experience so far.Review fromDonnie D.

1 starBuyer & sellers BEWARE! i setup consignment of my RV, was told to drop it off for inspection. I dropped it off on a Saturday, and inspection was for the following Monday. Tuesday I had heard nothing so i called and was told Matt Jackson the person i needed to speak to was with a customer. I called Wednesday, same story Matt was with a customer. Thursday I reached Matt who stated " Oh good thing you called, I forgot all about this, I`ll have it done today and call you back by 5 pm. Friday I still heard nothing. So this Monday no answer, then on Tuesday ( 8 days after scheduled inspection ) same thing Matt Jackson was busy with a customer. I asked for the store manager who was off. I asked for the managers name and was told they cant provide that information. Then I asked when the manager returned, silence, then was put on hold, then they said tomorrow ( Wednesday ). I contacted customer service to what was going on. I received an email stating they talked to Matt Jackson who stated he emailed me a repair quote already. i received no email. Then later that day Matt finally called me stating he was going to email me a repair quote, and what was my email address. I asked what repairs were needed and he said I`m not going to discuss this with you, you can look at the email. He became rude and unprofessional on the phone, and said we are not going to buy or cosign your RV, unless you pay for the repairs first. The next day the store manager called and said the RV needed $10,000 worth of repairs, pay the bill and they would cosign it or i had 2 days to pick it up or they would have it towed away. Everything was working when I brought it to them. I can only guess this is a scam to get your RV in, hit you with a repair bill, then make more money selling it for you. I cant understand doing business this way. Not returning customer calls, fake repair bill, then threatening to have it towed away. Unbelievable. So BEWARE, again I say BEWARE!!!Review fromMelissa S

1 starI purchased a camper from Camping World that was advertised as fully inspected and ready for use, but the experience has been deeply disappointing from day one. When I got the camper home, I immediately discovered the battery didnt work, the front window wouldnt open, and the bathroom fan was nonfunctional.I had also purchased an extended warranty that was supposed to cover any necessary repairs. When I brought the camper back shortly after purchaseeven offering to pay for repairs out of pocketit sat for months waiting for repairs. During that time, the only thing that happened was they replaced a faulty battery and subsequently damaged the countertop, which then had to wait three months to be replaced. I also had to pay for a repair inspection for repairs that they were never able to complete. The front window was never fixed in a working manner, the fan was never replaced due to repeated delays and incorrect parts ordered (reason given by their service ***** and none of the issues were covered under the warranty I was sold. We were also told the damage to the paint would not be covered under the paint warranty they sold. The result? A camper sold under false pretenses of a full inspection, along with additional paint and repair plans that meant absolutely nothing in the end.Camping World did not stand behind their promises or products. I regret this purchase and cannot recommend them based on my experience.Review fromCasey S

1 starWe consigned our RV there. Were told different amounts and the paperwork did not reflect what had been discussed as in we were $4k short so they had to add an addendum. First off had to call 10 days in because there was only 2 pictures online. After being told they would share it on ********, they did not. Then, we asked them to lower the price. They never did. Asked them to share on ** again they never did. We decided to allow them to buy it since they were dragging their feet. Once again the amount was less made up things that needed to be fixed even though we paid $900 before even consigning. Were told the check would be fed exed. No check for 5 days. After calling they said they would check in. So we were told that camping world Richmond cuts the checks, we called there. We're told "the ONLY" person that cuts the checks is out with some type of emergency and that a supervisor would call us back. To no avail we phoned Richmond camping world again who said we needed to call Camping world Manassas. When I reached a manager in ******** was told they do not cut the checks. They were able to look up and see that the camper was consigned. Still waiting for a resolution. DO NOT CONSIGN with camping world you will get the lowest, lack of integrity and you WILL NOT GET PAID.
