Complaint Against:Camping World RV Sales Location: ********, ******* Employee Involved: ***** ****** (Sales Representative/Manager)Nature of Complaint:Fraudulent transaction, misrepresentation, and loss of property valued over $160,000.Details of the Incident:Approximately three years ago, I entered into what I was told was a legitimate trade-in agreement with Camping World in ********, AZ. I worked directly with ***** ******, who represented himself as a trustworthy employee of Camping World.***** assured me that I was trading in my truck and a brand-new fifth-wheel RV toward a newer, more suitable setup. I was led to believe the paperwork reflected a fair trade-in agreement with appropriate credit given for both my truck and my fifth wheel. However, I later discovered that the documents I signed did not include any trade value, compensation, or replacement vehicle in return for the assets I gave up. In other words, ***** ****** convinced me to sign away both my fully operational truck and a new fifth wheel valued at over $160,000 combined and I received absolutely nothing in return.***** knew I was disabled and used that knowledge to manipulate and pressure me into signing documents I trusted were legitimate. I was deceived and coerced into a transaction that amounts to theft and fraud, and I have been fighting to correct this for nearly three years with no success. What I Am Seeking:Immediate reimbursement for the fair market value of the truck and fifth wheel taken (over $160,000)A formal investigation into the conduct of ***** ****** and Camping World Avondale A written response stating how Camping World intends to resolve this matter This situation has caused extreme financial and emotional hardship. I am filing this complaint in an effort to finally get restitution and to prevent anyone else especially vulnerable or disabled individuals from being victimized in this way.Review fromMelissa B

Bought a Forest River Sabre from Camping World in ************** in October 2025...Not sure of the year of the unit as I have been told 2016 or 2017...Won't know until I recieve the title (IF I recieve a title). Was told the unit would be cleaned, power washed, that the roof was good, that the mattresswould be replaced with a new RV mattress...etc. The only damage made known to me was a broken window which I agreed to with the sale. None of the things mentioned above were done. Now not even a full month layer, I have had to replace the water pump, repair the furnace, have the black tank flushed because when the unit was delivered it had a full black tank that it was unknown how long it had been full. I have had to put just over $2500 into the roof to have soft spots repaired and then have the roof re-sealed. Have scheduled repairs for 2 of the 3 slides for dry rotted wood as well ( cost of those repairs not back yet). Needless to say I was lied to on the condition of the unit and purchased for $15,000.00 when it wasn't worth $5000.00 with damages thus far.Review fromCatherine H

Took our ** in for a repair in the fiberglass wall/body, insurance claim. They kept it over 2 months and did additional damage to the fiberglass wall/body, we do not know what the additional cost was for. They lied about the damage they did and told us that the clear coat they did had a run in it, but we went and checked on the ** and discovered the damage Camping world did to the **. They also lost our keys and we had to buy a new lock, they installed it for free, but have never found he original keys. They also did an additional claim to the original claim, so the insurance paid them more $. When we picked up the **, I had paid for a roof seal and they supposedly fond a cracked skylight, so we replaced it. They charged me for the roof seal and the skylight and the invoice had N/C on all the charges for the fiberglass body repair. We asked 2 times if this was the correct amount for what we owed and he said yes. So 2 months later they are saying we owe $5900 for the insurance claim that was the original reason for bringing it to camping world. When we were told that there was no charge for that due to them damaging our ** and them keeping the Rv for 2 months, and not to mention losing our keys. Insurance did pay us for the repair, but when we picked up the ** they told us NO CHARGE. I have the invoice to prove it! The service guy clearly told me that the invoice he handed me was the amount we owed. We were never informed that we owed an additional $5900. To our understanding they did not charge us because they did additional damage to the **, and that we paid them for the work listed on the invoice we were given, with no charge for the body work, per the invoice. WHY would they wait 2 months and then ask for the money. I think the service guy screwed up and wasn't supposed to not charge us. And now2 months later they are asking for $5900 that was supposed to be a NO CHARGE! This is a huge SCAM if you ask me!Review fromJen G

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. If you are considering a warranty, be warned: getting your money back is a nightmare.I personally delivered my warranty cancellation form to the person in charge, A.C, back in May. Five months later, I am still waiting for the refund I am legally owed. This is not a simple delay; this is the company holding my money after I followed every instruction and did my part precisely.I was directed to contact marcusVIP for " but that has been a dead endno help and no progress whatsoever. Every attempt to call results in a generic message promising a callback, which never happens. The total lack of accountability and communication is astounding. I have done everything right, and this company refuses to refund my money. Avoid at all costs.Review fromLeslee S

I bought a used RV from Camping World with only 500 miles on it. I told the sales team I was moving from ******* to ***** with four animals and my sisterthis was a major cross-country relocation, not a casual vacation.First night on the road:Water heater didnt work (gas or electric).Generator wouldnt start, so no A/C.Broken cabinet glides.Missing light lenses.Several outlets completely dead. When I called Camping World, I got, Well look into it. Thats it. No help, no urgency.Halfway across the country, I found out many of these issues werent even covered under the warranty. Once I got to *****, I was told:Id need to drive across the state to fix the ************ have to go to a ********* dealership to fix the outlets. Are you kidding me? If my car mechanic sent me to three different places to fix one vehicle, Id never return. Same goes here. The sales process was smoothof course it was. But the second you drive off the lot, youre on your own. Service is disorganized, slow, and downright unhelpful.I regret buying from Camping World and Ill be telling everyone I can to go elsewhere.Review fromNot D

Uxbridge camping world. Horrible. The service advisor pinardy ******** is absolutely inappropriate. While I was in there to get my camper serviced he very loudly was talking to another employee about his sexual conquests and going into very vivid detail about a woman he said wasn't his wife. I made a complaint. On the last visit there, he was again talking loudly about watching snuff films on the dark web. The poor service advisor looked so embarrassed and equally disturbed. Ive also heard pinardy making fun of the advisor who's face is partially paralyzed. I dont know if the advisor knows this or not but *** is the only reason I had continued to do business there. But after this last time, I cant go back there. It made me feel disgusted. I am a victim of SA. And hearing this man talk about the disgusting things he did with woman in front of me, while looking at me made me feel violated. He needs to be fired. There are multiple complaints about his professionalism and behavior, yet he is still employeed there.Review fromKris H

Terrible experience, from being lied to from the very first day, by a salesman who. Didn't want to do theory job. Stated it couldn't see the toyhauler i was purchasiing,, because. It was in detail. And there was no forklift driver available. Show up to ***** the wrong unit tagged, one that was $9k more. The 1 i put a deposit on, wasn't in detail bay, it was clear in the back of the lot with the door left wide open at 645 pm on a rainy day. They called myself and my sister who had nothing to do with the purchase a dozen times a day most of the next 7 days. She literally missed 11 calls 8n a row from them. They called me to ask if I could hurry in to close the sale before the wnd of the motion th with the employee stating "i onow its selfish, but could you do this for us.i was scheduled for pickup the following day, and it wasn't ready for then or for 3 more days. I was gonna kill the deal but they offered to make it "FULLY CAMP READY" AND deliver it to me for 5 days worth of lies, excuses and inconveniences. They show up for delivery, the roof ac and vent covers have 1 to 4 rows of DUCT TAPE wrapped around the melted, non closing covers.the trailer shows up with at least 1/3 the i terror and exterior lights and speakers malfunctioning, holes in the canopy, interior grate covers taped on falling off. TV, fridge, microwave all didn't work. Then they turn around to tell me they won't hold ME to the sales contract, after ALL paperwork been done, I have dozens of hours invested in **** purchase, and have purchased thousands of dollars of additional gear and equipment, they tell me THEY ARE NOT willing to put the money into this toyahauler, to bring it into decent and acceptable condition. Ill be sending a letter of intent from my attorney for breach of contract, and consumer fraud this week if they dont stick to theory contractual obligations.
