  Our window installation went very smoothly and the communication from Renewal by Andersen was wonderful. They kept us informed of the progress on our new windows and doors, promptly answered any questions we had - the process was seamless. The installer s arrived and were very respectful of our furnishings. They completed the installation, cleaned up and were finished before my young granddaughters bus arrived at 3pm! We are extremely happy with our new windows and simply can not say enough good things about this company.

  Exterior glass door assembled in ******* was installed by ********** contractor in March 2023. The upper or screen part appears to "unlatch" by itself when the door gets closed. I contacted ********** since I paid them for the door and installation. Their response was that they would contact an Andersen representative. Also left message for the "last" supervisor of the contracting company that does installations for **********. These are only partial reasons why I will no longer pay ********** for any other products or installations. As a retired senior citizen on a limited income, I cannot afford such shoddy services.

  Good product. ***** installation that the company won't stand behind or do anything about. It is currently raining in my living room and when I called the company....they couldn't find me in the computer. This sliding glass door was bought and installed by their contractor less than six months ago and...you can't find me? Even if they could have found me...well, it seems, it didn't matter because they didn't install it. No matter how many times I told them that they sent a contractor to my house, their recommended contractor As *********** somehow someway, they just couldn't get it. They kept insisting I had hired someone on the outside.Other than just today, the contractor stalled on installing the door for nearly 2 months. He failed to bring the screen door, said he would, and well, you guessed it....I had to buy another screen door. Something else Renewal by Andersen refused to do anything about.I would never use them again. I thought I checked them out well, they had good reviews but, later on I discovered those reviews are bought and paid for and that you, the lowly customer, cannot leave a review for them on any social media platform other than X. It's a ****. An outright downright dirty little ****.

  If you are getting a door please read this review. Our new door has a door handle that is a little less then 34 inches from the floor which is the minimum height that meets code. Most door handles are 36 inches from the floor which is what the handles on all the other doors in my house are and was the height for the handle on the door that was replaced. We were never asked what height we wanted the door handle to be on the new door. My husband and I are tall and it is awkward when we open the door because the handle is too low. The Andersen representative stated that all ******** doors have a handle that is a little less then 34 inches from the floor. If we had known, we would have purchased our door from someone else. What is interesting is that several ******** employees agreed with our position but nothing is being done.

  The product is well built but customer service / repair / installation is sub par. One of our windows had a defect (** film was split) in the glass and was noticed by our installation tech in June of 2022. Three months later we got the new window and it had the same flaw where the ** film but in a different spot. Its Dec 2023 and we have not had this fixed.Two months ago we had a tech come out to fix the screen door handle and fix a hole in a screen. The tech did not know about the screen and said he would since in a notice. Two months later, we still have not gotten it replaced. I called today (Thursday) and was told service would call me on Tuesday of next week. Why does it take several days to have the service department call to make an appointment for something that should have been prepared two months ago?We replaced every window and two doors in our home and this is the service we paid for?

  He was very informative and enthusiastic with his presentation. He was also punctual and I would recommend him for anyone wanting window/ door work done.

  This is a follow up from my one star rating. The president of Renewals by ******** personally contacted me and is working to rectify my situation. He has offered to correct my issue at no cost, or to provide additional improvements with minimal upcharge. If things continue as expected I will improve the rating further

  Not happy with what we paid. We had one window and one French Door replaced. It took two days for the install. The exterior trim on the window was cut in half. After three or four follow-up visits the trim is still damaged. And we were never given a copy of the warranty on the window even though I asked several times. Wont recommend *** to anyone!!

  ***************** was extremely informative, personable and collegial; hes obviously very knowledgeable about their products. My primary interest in contacting Renewal by ******** is to find solutions for reducing outside noise because my house is located near a heavily trafficked street. Although Renewal by ******** offers excellent products, the current products do not have the *** (*****) and OITC (36+) ratings that would help reduce and eliminate the traffic noise in my area.
