**** promotion of their Ortho Access is an attempt to pull patients from hospital emergency rooms. I made an appointment Monday morning and was not told same-day appointments were treated as walk-in cases. After 2 hours of waiting and seeing 50 others in waiting room also waiting, I drove to hospital ER, was seen in 15 minutes, had xrays & tests for broken wrist. Excellent & attentive care from hospital doctors, definitely worth having fall-related injury treated by emergency room. I'll never go back to IBJI Ortho Access - they may have good doctors but their appointment policy is terrible.

I went to the Illinois ***************************** Institute for shin ********************. I saw a PA, ****** ****** who never even examined my leg. She claims she did a ******** test and said my test was negative. She never did this exam on my leg so she falsified my records. She also claims she did a Lachmans exam with negative results. This exam also was never performed on me. My brother is a witness as he was in the exam room with me. Falsifying my medical records is illegal. I then saw a Dr. ******* at the **** on 9/27/24 who did perform the Mc ****** test on my right leg/knee for a possible meniscus tear. During the exam, he put way too much pressure on my knee when flexing it and I screamed out in excruciating pain and that NEV** should have happened. My brother was in the room and witnessed what he did and heard me scream. He diagnosed me as having osteoarthritis and gave me a cortisone shot. At the beginning of my appointment with Dr. ******** I was trying to explain to him what I had been through with my leg pain and that I had spent 7 hours in the ** at ************************* in *********** ** on 9/24/24 where several X-rays and a Doppler test were done for DVT. Dr. ******* said I was combative and he basically told me to sit down, shut my mouth or he would not treat me. No doctor should ever speak to a patient like this! He was extremely rude & unprofessional. He showed no empathy whatsoever and he seemed very angry and upset towards me. Someone wrote a review that this Dr. ******* is arrogant and has a hot temper. I was finally able to get an MRI done on my right knee on 10/24/24 where it was discovered that I have a fracture of my medial tibia plateau measuring 2.1 x 0.9cm! My medial and lateral meniscus are also damaged which will now require surgery. I never had any kind or medial knee pain until after I saw Dr. ******* on 9-27-24. I do believe, in my opinion, that he hurt my knee intentionally and is guilty of negligence and malpractice.

My 3 months follow up appointment was at 2:30pm and I got there around 2:20pm. The desk lady called me after about 20min waiting to tell me that they are trying to call my insurance to verify eligibility and I said OK. Then 20 minutes later this guy introducing himself as accountant telling me that I need to reschedule my appointment cause they cant get hold of insurance (usually doctors offices call to verify eligibility a day before or at least couple hours to patient visit) VERY BAD PRACTICE to call to verify coverage while patient is there. But anyway I refused to cancel and tried to call insurance myself and I talked to them and told me to show him my eligibility on my account online which I did but at this point the guy was stubborn to even see it and wanted me out. So I was on time for my appointment and I have insurance and I have been to that office many times and still I am the one who gets punished for their bad practice. In the end his manager got involved and even though he was still mad and at certain point as he walking away he flipped me off, I honestly was shocked and frustrated and tried to keep my cool to not do anything crazy.THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

******************** performed my foot surgery on December 23, 2021 at ******* hospital. My experience at ******* was negative from a surgical nurse who could not set-up an IV to being overdosed on Albuterol by the Anesthesiologist. A week later when I saw ********************, he said I had developed an infection, I asked him if the infection would heal and his response was we can hope & he sent me home. He called me the next morning, New Years Eve, to tell me that I needed to go to the *** he recommended that I go to ******* . I spent 5 hours at Northwestern **. The results of the cultures taken in the ** showed I had two different types of infection in my foot. The ** doctor noted patient concerned about infection. I also had significant swelling in my leg which ended up weeping which was seen by ********************. This required, yet another, trip to the ** for an ultrasound to rule out a DVT. The attending nurse asked if my foot surgeon recommended elevating my ******* told her that no my foot surgeon did not tell me that. Her response was he should have. I began elevating my leg & the swelling & weeping cleared up. Despite the questionable decisions made by *******************, I was advised by two members of my health care team to stay with him and try to work it out. I was advised that changing doctors could be a greater risk. During my course of treatment, ******************** called me stupid and referred to me as trouble; when I tried to explain that I have an aversion to the sight of blood, he mocked me. Considering that I have passed out while having blood drawn, this is not a laughing matter. The icing on the cake was when ******************** said to me You know, I just cant wait to get rid of you. I felt that statement was unprofessional, ***** & juvenile for a doctor to say to a patient. I could NEV** imagine one of my other doctors saying that to me or to anyone. In Dr. ********* bio, he says that the treats patients like he would members of his family. If that is true
