1 star***************** company. Had a bill from Aug 8, 2024. Was in contact with their billing department to resolve the issue since then (a year ago). Every time that I am on the phone call with one of their overseas respresentatives, they tell me that they have escalated my issue and a member of the higher team/internal team or manager will reach out to me. No one has called me since Aug 2024...and now they tell me that I have been sent to collections. Just tried sitting on the call with a respresentative to wait for a "higher up" to call me. Sat for more than an hour. Explain to me how people in this imaginary "internal team" are on calls for over an hour and cannot return my call? The only response I get from their team is "currently there is no one available due to the high call volume." ******** this company is a load of BS and incompetent at their jobs. They are scamming people over medical expenses which can be an extremely hard situation in itself already. And I see their responses on other reviews that they have reached out to those patients and are helping them resolve their issue. I dont believe that one bit as they can't seem to return a call if their lives depended on it.Review fromNatalie B

1 starThey do not return calls or emails. They will follow up on a new thread. When asked for clinician rationale, they disregard or never respond back. I had a Covid test and RSV tests and it was $220 with insurance. Itemized **** says medical service no CPT code or nothing. Disgusting.Review fromJennifer L

1 starThis organization is horrible My daughter visited one of their clinics in the ******* area two times recently, once in Nov 2024 and again in January 2025. I paid for both visits after receiving my EOB from *****************. The payments were made from *** using my FSA. This company keeps sending me bills, each time for different amounts. Despite several calls and an email with documentation of EOB and proof of payment, they wont take my payment to 0. Every time I call I get someone who is difficult to understand and get a different story each time I call. Id like to understand how to file a formal complaint. Seems like most of these reviews have the same issues.Review fromBeth B

1 starIf I could leave half a star, I would. The staff was amazing. Their prices and billing are ridiculous. I received an invoice for an amount of $68 dollars. I logged in to pay and it was $85 dollars. When I asked customer service why they said my 20% discount had expired. I explained I just received the bill. They stated there was nothing they could do about it and I still owed the money. Im floored that this is done to how many people? I went there because it was closer to me. Wont make that mistake again. I will never go back simply because of their billing practices.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starI was seen on 6/9/25 in *******, ** and was told I had to pay $180.00 because that is what they are contracted with my insurance company for. I told them I had already reached my total out of pocket deductible and shouldn't have to pay for anything. When I received the *** from my insurance company they had paid the total amount that was due for my visit. I have called SEVERAL times to there "customer service billing department" about getting my money back and keep getting the run around. My insurance company emailed the billing department my *** showing they paid the bill and the billing department keeps telling me they never received the fax. I feel like I just keep getting the run around because they do not want to refund my $180. I have since filed a Complaint with the State of Michigan due to them not issuing a refund for the overpayment of $180.00. I will never go to this urgent care again.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starBilling department is a nightmare. Ive called their call center which is overseas 4 times and still can not get the issue resolved. At this point after 90 days of trying and getting nowhere, the company owes me money. Insurance has paid for the visit and so did I after a mix up on their end. It has been 90 days with a run around an no resolution and I will now have to look into taking legal actions. I have never dealt with a business that is so incompetent when it comes to fixing billing errors or addressing patients concerns.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starI went to Wellnow Urgent Care on ************ in *******, **. I paid my $50 copay at the time of the visit. Due to my deductible I had a balance of $56.00. I received a bill on 7/5/2025. This was the first bill I received from them. The amount on the bill included a 20% discount for a balance of $*****. I tried to pay on-line but the ***** and the $56 were both listed. I called ******** to ask about this and they told me I was no longer eligible for the 20% discount. They told me they send me a previous bill on June 13. When I look on my insurance explanation of benefits that is the date they billed the insurance. How could they have sent me a previous bill on that day without knowing what the insurance would cover. I sent them a check for the $*****. Today 7/10/25 I received an email that I had an autopay set up with my charge card that I used for my co-pay. I never set up this payment for July 13. I sent them a check so now I have cancelled the autopay. The payment amount set up without my permission was for the $56.00 for the autopay. This is fraudulent. You cannot bill my charge card without my permission. I don't owe both payments which is what you are trying to charge me for.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starIn the summer of 2024, my wife needed two sutures in her finger. We went to WellNow and payed the $55 copay they requested. We said that wed have our primary care physician remove the sutures because there would be no cost to us. WellNow encouraged us to return by telling us they will not charge us to remove the two sutures. When we returned to WellNow two weeks later we were once again told there would be no cost to us, and they did not request a *****. We only allowed WellNow to remove the sutures because they told us, twice, there would be no cost to us (and no copay was requested). Our insurance company recently confirmed they made their full payment to WellNow for the suture removal last summer. Now, NEARLY A YEAR LATER, WellNow placed a $55 charge on our credit card for suture removal. They did not send us any bill, they just unilaterally placed a charge on our credit card without our authorization. They only sent a text stating "Thank you for scheduling your payment" (but we didn't "schedule" any payment). This is classic bait-and-switch fraud - and fraud is illegal. We recently returned to WellNow and spoke with their location manager to dispute that $55 charge. He informed us we definitely should NOT have been charged, but we need to call their billing department to get this resolved. When we asked if this occurs often, he replied yes. Weve now expended many hours disputing this illegitimate charge with both WellNow and our credit card company. We could not get this resolved until we filed a formal complaint with the NY State Attorney Generals office and they assisted in getting the illegitimate charge reversed.Weve had only two independent experiences with WellNow, yet both times they placed illegitimate "extra" charges on our credit card. Placing illegitimate charges on their clients credit cards places all the burden on their clients to then struggle to have those charges reversed, making this a lucrative but unethical practice.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starI am really unhappy with this company. They charged my credit card without sending me a statement of the account or bill. When I called they gave me some excuse that I authorized an auto pay, but I cannot locate this on my account. I think it's really deceptive for a business to just charge some random fee without warning and without sending a statement of the account. If they had had a balance, they should've sent me a notice with a requirement to pay or be autobilled within a set period of time.WellNow Urgent Care

1 starVisited WellNow Urgent Care in ******* Il 12/15/***** insurance paid claim 2/25/25. Received text that they were taking $160.00 from my daughters card. I called and advised them I had a zero balance. They agreed I had a zero balance. They took the $160.00 from her card anyway. I called and filed a complaint 3 days in a row. All 3 customer service ***s ***** understand my request to refund the card. Finally I got a *** and he agreed to credit the card and it would take 5-7 days for the credit on her account. 7 days passed no credit. The *** then said the ************ couldnt credit the card. This *** said I the patient had to receive a check. They said they issued a check 5/15/25 and it would take 5-7 days for me to receive. I called back 5/22/25 no check. I called my insurance company and we had a 3 way call, the *** said the check was sent and I had to wait until 6/2/25 to receive it. Well its 6/3/25 no check. My insurance company *** asked for them to send the check number to be via text. The WellNow *** sent a text that stated no check had been requested, no check had been sent. WellNow has a poor ************ and an even worse customer service ***** On every call I asked to speak to a Supervisor or asked for a Supervisor call back. They ALL said there is no way for them to contact a Supervisor. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!The care I received on 12/15/24 was HORRIBLE!!The only action they took seriously and made so clear to be after my long long wait, was I could not be seen without the co pay. I had a serious fall on the ice. Went home in pain and decided to go to an Urgent Care, left my card holder at home accidentally. With all this pain going on they said they couldnt even talk to me without the co pay. Thats why I had to call my daughter in ***** to pay over the phone. Once they got that money, then and only then would they even ask me what my medical issue was. That should have been my tip off this place was POOR QUALITY.WellNow Urgent Care
