I purchased 2 tickets to *************************** July 5, 2024 show in ****** ME but need to resell the tickets due to a family emergency. But I have no tickets to resell because the tickets have not been transferred to me. These are TicketMaster/LiveNation tickets and should have been transferred to my LiveNation digital wallet upon completion of the purchase last fall. I went back and forth with this company at that time. But they really are just a platform that is seemingly extremely terrible at verifying whether sellers actually have the tickets. Because anyone who's bought/sold tickets before with AXS or LiveNation knows how tickets are managed in those apps' digital wallets. To make matters worse, when contacted the RateMySeats team advised me to simply resell the tickets (that I don't have) and then electronically transfer them to the new party. But that potentially doubles my loss since (let me repeat) I. Do. Not. Have. The. Tickets. Nor do I have confidence that I will get the tickets.

I purchased tickets from Rateyourseats.com in November 2023 for a *************************** concert that was scheduled on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at ********************* in ***. I paid $445 for two tickets. Approx one week prior to the concert, I received an email notifying me that the concert was rescheduled to Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The venue indicated that all tickets would be refunded at the original point of sale. I cannot attend the rescheduled concert date for a myriad of reasons, including travel issues, work, and childcare. This, I reached out to Rateyourseats.com to request a refund. Upon speaking to ***** at Rateyourseats.com, I was informed of their policy that all tickets are final sale and no refund would be issued. Her only suggestion was to take it upon myself to resell the tickets (including telling me to ****** how to do it), which would result in hundreds of dollars in losses (as the tickets are now selling for way less than I purchased them for). Now, not only can I not attend a concert I paid for months ago, but I stand to lose hundreds of dollars through no fault of my own. ***** refused to refund my money and refused to escalate my complaint any further. Apparently, stealing customers money is Rateyourseats policy. Their practices are undoubtedly unconscionable and unfair to consumers, who have no bargaining power or ability to recover.

Since the event has been rescheduled and not fully cancelled, your tickets are still valid for the new date.
Unfortunately, we are not able to find any evidence that all tickets for this event will be refunded at the point of sale, however, if there is additional documentation that can be submitted that supports this, we would be more than happy to elevate your concerns.

You are choosing to accept $445 of my money in exchange for an agreement that you can no longer uphold. I cannot attend the 5/28/24 concert date, never said that I could, and would not have made the purchase on that basis. I cannot resell the tickets without significant administrative burden and financial loss. Your employee suggested that I resell the tickets. That is not my job. I am not a ticket seller. YOU are a ticket seller. You are also a corporate power, invoking arbitrary policies against an individual consumer that has no bargaining power. You do business in the State of *********** and are therefore subject to their laws. Your blanket policy of denying refunds to buyers who would otherwise be able to obtain a refund from other vendors, including the venue itself, is unconscionable and deceptive. It is a violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (*****). I will not let this go.Sincerely,

If youre unable to attend the new date, independent resale is always an option to recoup the cost of tickets! On February 23, 2024, I placed an order for 4 concert tickets to see the ***** Brothers in **************. The order said the tickets would be delivered digitally to my cell phone. I have not received those tickets. I paid $1391.94 for 4 tickets. I have contacted the company 2 times by email and once by telephone with no response from them. I have no tickets to show for the money that I have paid. I need to get the tickets immediately or they can refund my money.

I purchased tickets on 1/12/24 for a Foo Fighters Concert in ****** ** on May 1st. The vendor has not sent the tickets as of 10:28 AM on 4/30 and I was told by email that I would have them before 4/30. They don't answer emails. Phone doesn't work and online chat doesn't work.

Please refer to 3 seating charts of ********************* located in **********, **. Note: The differences of the seating chart from Rate Your Seats website where I purchased the tickets is NOT correct. It appears to be a mirror image of the actual seating chart of the ********************* seating chart as well as Ticketmasters website who issues the tickets. Therefore, the purchased tickets through Rate Your Seats website are seated in the complete opposite position of the stage. (Floor seats Top Left vs Floor Bottom Right from stage). ROW 3 VS Row 7 Due to the huge difference in seats assigned from what I purchased I am requesting a complete refund to be credited back to the original form of purchase. Stop payment through **** and Rate my tickets was denied due to a non refund policy. Tickets are not in location advertised on website and are in a complete opposite location than advertised. After reviewing the seating chart images provided of our map and Ticketmaster's map, we're having some trouble finding any inaccuracies that have been mentioned.
The floor sections mentioned in your original message (3 and 7) are in the same location on our map as they are on Ticketmaster's. The difference in positioning is just due to a different orientation of the map's presentation.
For example, floor section 3 is still located in front of lower bowl sections ******* and floor section 7 is still located in front of lower bowl sections *******. In both of these floor sections, row 1 is still closest to the stage.
We are certainly not trying to mislead any fans on our site, so if there are still concerns about the location of your seats, we'd be happy to try and clarify further if needed.

On January 18, ****, I went to the Business sight at www.rateyourseats.com to purchase tickets for the ******* Rodeo ************* Concert on March 01, ****. While on the sight I chose 3 seats in a section 340 ********** ticket was ****** per ticket with fees and taxes the total price was $589.00. There after I was taken to paypal which was my payment source. When Paypal rerouted me to the sight for the Transaction I was charges $710.81 with no explanation of additional charges and I did not consent to them, no would I have approved the transaction for the price. Why would I agree to ****** in additional fees for tickets that were already above what they were worth at 85.00/ticket. This was a bait and switch practice that advertised once price and charged me another. The receipt sent to me contains no explanation of charges and the contact me button did not work.Emails and phone calls went unanswered. I finally used the chat feature to speak to an **** who said they were a specialist with the company and offered me no resolution and would not allow me to speak to a manager (Chat with a manager). I was not allowed to get a copy of the transcript of the conversation nor was I provided an itemized receipt for the charges that they switched with. Unscrupulous activities and a violation of consumer protection laws.

I purchased concert tickets through this company on 12/14/23. After realizing this company was price gouging, I told them I wanted to cancel my tickets and get a full refund, to which they replied they could not. I went to claim my tickets with the link they provided to resell them and the link said that the tickets were already claimed by another email address. I need a refund from this scam of a company immediately!

Additionally, when a fraud chargeback is launched, our team immediately takes back the tickets and lists them on the customer's behalf since when a customer launches this, it would be due to not having made the purchase. This policy has been detailed in previous communications with our customer service agents and would be the reason why the amount received in the refund shows $249.00 and not the full amount of the order.

I am rejecting this response because:Since I paid via PayPal, and it went through my bank account, when I initiated the chargeback, it went through PayPal which only made PayPal give me a negative balance for the $500.70. So PayPal needs refunded the money you took from me without having any tickets. You did not have authorization to resell those tickets that your company kept pressuring me to accept. Which I did not. When I finally did accept them, they were already resold. I was NOT notified that they had been resold. I am demanding my full amount of the $500.70 to my PayPal account since I am out my money AND tickets. Like I said before, I will NOT accept any response other than my FULL REFUND of $500.70!

Rate your seats.com sold me 2 tickets in a zone and said they would place ** in a comparable area based on cost/availability in Nov. 2023. Got our tickets emailed to us today and they are row X in section 128 (Rolling Stones, April 28, ****) we could buy 4 tickets for the price of those tickets!! Order #******** cost us over $2000 so we thought we would be getting premium seats. I have attached 3 photos taken today of seats available far closer and less expensive than the seats we were sent. Zone Seating: this listing describes tickets that the seller does not own, but is offering to procure for you. After you place your order and your order is confirmed, we guarantee that your tickets will be within the zone or section listed or one comparable and that you will receive these tickets in time for the event or your money back. Orders exceeding four tickets *** be split up into different rows within the requested zone or section. Specific seats are not assigned until delivery.
After reviewing your order, the tickets that were received are within the zone, section, and rows described in the listing.

Other seats closer to the entertainer in the same section are available through their website as well as other websites at a MUCH lower price than what we paid. We would like, based on what we paid, COMPARABLE seats, not ones worth half as much - even in the same section that are WORTH the $$$ we paid. There is NO WAY we would be able to sell these tickets for what we paid. I dont need help reselling them, I need BETTER TICKETS, worth the $$$ we paid - same section but lower (row X, REALLY???), OR another lower seated section WORTH the $$$!!

On March 1, I purchased club seating tickets from this site. With their zone seating policy, they claim that a comparable section, row, seat is promised. In the transaction, I was told our seats would be in a club section and the section was listed in my email receipt. I paid $632 for these club tickets. 2 days before the game on Nov 10, the ticket transfer came through as visitors section tickets, not club. When I called, the customer service rep said because of the zone seating this visitors section was deemed comparable. I tried to explain with the club section I paid for, I had access to the indoor club and better seats. She tried twice to ask her team and provided me with nothing. I was told by the customer service rep that I could try to resell them on another site but would receive no refund. I never used the tickets and had no luck reselling. Another customer posted a similar complaint regarding club seating (see other complaints) and was refunded 50%. I doubt I will see a *****. I warn all potential fans, do not order from this site. I encourage Rateyourseats to update their zones in all venues (doubt they will because I am sure, they make a lot of money by fraudulently offering these zones); or I recommend they make their zone seating explanation clear. Comparable to them means you pay hundreds for absolute junk seats.

I never received my baseball tickets from RateYourSeats.com **************** said it would come right before the game. Well they never came via email as promised. They said they were sent 1.5 hours before the game via email in a pdf attachment. I checked with my email provider, they confirmed never sent! An investigation was promised, but was never contacted back. You ************* back if tickets aren't delivered. Well they weren't delivered! What a bad experience. Never again. I purchased tickets from Ballpark. Received my tickets instantly! My suggestion to is to do business like Ballpark & don't commit Fraud if you want to stay in business!

I never received the tickets that I ordered. They stated they will send 2 hours before start time, but never received! see screen display of my emails.
I contacted Xfinity Tier 3 Exchange Server Admin. He confirmed didn't receive email from rateyourseats.com call Xfinity at ************ provide ticket # IH252572794 if you need to confirm. I spent 2 hours of my time on phone with them.
The way they exchange tickets via email & attachment should be changed. They need to exchange via a email link to the tickets from a website like Ballpark app (mlb,com) Also need to provide the tickets right after purchase. Just like Ballpark app. I had to purchase another set of tickets b/c Rateyourseats.com never sent me my tickets that I purchased! Their investigation was just that a email was delivered to my email ******************* I had them send the tickets a second time, never received. Their investigation wasn't t comprehensive, checking email server, proving me the email supposing sent to my email address. This 3rd party entertainment *************** should be shutdown based on my experience & other customers.

Our data team found no inventory issues. Our service team found a refund request, followed by a ticket exchange request, on the day of purchase. Our operations team found service reviews left across multiple sites on 8/21 saying tickets were never received for the event, despite the event being on 8/25 and the seller notes stating tickets would be delivered on the day of the event.
We hope this additional information helps shed some light on our investigation findings.

I am rejecting this response because I never received of what I purchased. That's Fraud. When you usually buy tickets online, you receive them immediately. When I contacted RateYourSeats.com customer service, they promised delivery. Please send me the proof of delivery of tickets. I contacted Xfinity Email support team, they confirmed no tickets were sent to my email address. I have every email that was sent to ****************** to either in my inbox, spam, deleted folders. If I delete an email, it goes into "Recover Deleted items" up to 60 days. So I can recover a deleted email & display all emails from a certain date. There was a heated dispute with customer service because I did order tickets for Saturday's, but received confirmation that I ordered Friday's game. They couldn't remedy the situation by providing me tickets of what I ordered. i still should of received tickets to Fridays game so I could re-sell them. Customer Service resent the tickets to me while on the phone, I confirmed that I never received. Their verbal reply was we still can't provide you a refund!!! This is how they got me back by not providing me tickets at all. This company shouldn't be in business. There's numerous complaints against this company. I wish I looked their ratings before purchasing. Now I'm out of *****. I ordered tickets from Ballpark app(mlb.com), had no issues. They provided my tickets right after the transaction. RateYourSeats.com needs to exchange their tickets, not through an email attaching the tickets. Anything could happen like Phishing, email size limit, Spam filtering.
