******** asked for refund outside of guarantee coverage and was denied. Guarantee only covers satisfaction - Customer was asking for a guarantee for a different reason (he was starting a business) which is not covered under our 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

I am rejecting this response because: Information from the business is incorrect and even if it was, his webinars state you can cancel anytime for any reason within 30 days. I followed the instructions as stated and he's just trying to get out of refunding my $800. There are references to the same behavior from other people. Its his pattern of duping people.

    Sincerely,

During the introductory webinar the customer is referring to, I mention 5 times this exact phrase "your satisfaction is guaranteed for 30 days", the same language is used on a slide during the webinar, and presented twice during the purchase process. At no point in the purchase process to guarantee anything other than satisfaction. At no point is any language used or written to indicate that starting your own business is covered under our 30 day satisfaction guarantee. As much as I've tried through repition during the intro webinar, slides and checkout process, some people choose to make up their own rules about what should be guaranteed, vs what has been communicated clearly, multiple times, during the purchase process.

The customer correctly points out that in during the past 16 years that I've offered webinars, he is the 5th customer that has made a complaint about his misunderstanding of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee, of the thousands of satisfied customers that I've helped find a new job.

I am rejecting this response because: This should not be closed. The business has already admitted that I was due a refund based on his response as stated in the initial complaint:

    5) On April 19, 2023 *************************** responded, "Credit requests are evaluated and processed once a month. Going through your credit card company can take 90 days or longer." 6) On May 22, 2023 I again sent an email to *************************** asking for an update. 7) On May 24, 2023 *************************** responded "It's looking like my next evaluation/credit processing day will be in early June."

Business responds "Satisfaction is guaranteed" and if you're not? You're out of luck, sorry? What would you expect? This business is a scam and he's taking advantage of people.

********** was never promised a refund, nor did we ever admit that a refund was due to ************* ********** indicated "On April 19, 2023 *************************** responded, 'Credit requests are evaluated and processed once a month' ". This was a description of the way we handle refund requests, which he apparantly misunderstood to mean that he was due a refund. We never communicated that we accepted his request for a refund.

************** request was denied because his reasons for a refund (he was starting a business) are not covered by our 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

I am rejecting this response because:

Just another made up excuse to deceive a client. No matter what is said or brought forth he will come up with another excuse. I did not start my own business, only considered it as a possibility if I could not find a job. I eventually found a job without his help since his service did not add any value. So what's next, I used the wrong font?

If he's doing this to me, then there's probably others. If this does not get resolved, then it's litigation. I have (5) law firms in my building who know me quite well.

    Sincerely,
