I am the owner of a construction company in *************. I was contacted by this company to run some ads on 11/7/22 on a ************* station. The ads were supposed to run from 12/12/22-12/22/2022. I probably would have completely forgot to listen to the ads and just paid my invoice had they kept up their side of the deal. A representative had called me and read me this very professional sounding ad on the phone, and told me he would send me the script and an airing schedule. He also told me I wouldn't have to pay anything until the ads had run and I was 100% satisfied, instead he asked me to pay half up front for a longer ad campaign. I started asking questions when I never received a script or a broadcast schedule, instead I received an invoice and more phone calls pushing me to pay my bill (before the ads had aired). This was an obvious huge red flag. I never paid the other half up front, instead I waited for the ads to be played. I waited enthusiastically for the ads to play with members of my family (my 9 and 8 year old daughter) and members of my business and their families. The ads never played the first day. Maybe I missed them? Although we listened for a huge block of time in the afternoon (3-6PM).Not only did we not hear our ad for the first week there were absolutely NO other ads for toys for tots campaign. Now I am worried, my background is in computers so I set up an app to record the station. I used smart recorder for the next two days to record the time frames and nothing. Nothing from me and nothing from anyone else. At this point another member from Blueprint broadcasting called me pressuring me to give them more money.I thought about it "I'm listening to the station on a web portal, maybe the ads are different" ? So I phone my parents who have an old school tape recorder, I cassette record the last three nights. NOTHING, not from me, not from any other company with a toys for tots drive.Business Response

In November 2022, Blueprint Broadcasting contacted for radio advertising for my company *****************. I agreed and paid them $489 via credit card. I never received a schedule or heard any radio ad played for my company. When I researched them I learned there were many complaints of this company being a scam. On December 20, 2022, I received an email pertaining to another radio ad campaign and I responded to that same email chain on December 20, 2022, stating, "I do not wish to advertise with you. Remove me off your list. I authorize no radio campaign or charge to my account (card) for any advertising." On February 8, 2023, my credit card was charged $100, and on February 24, 2023, it was charged $299. None of these charges were with my written authorization. I am also receiving invoices and past due letters, dated February 3, 2023, and February 13, 2023. Any continued past due notices or invoices will only advance my legal action against them.Business Response

TOTAL scam company- no legitimate phone number- false charges. This company reached out to us to solicit their business - they gave us a presentation of what an advertisement would be like with them. They then said that IF we would like to schedule this radio broadcast- they would then send us a packet in the email to fill out and pay, and upon payment they would submit the advertisement. In the packet they included days, times and stations of when this would air. We heard they were a sketchy company- so called the radio stations and they said they DO NOT do business with them due to them being scam artists. We called to let them know we would not proceed- no answer. We emailed to let them know we would not proceed - no answer. We called numerous times more - no answer. We issues no payment- have all records or stating we did not want to proceed PRIOR to the advertisement date - and they STILL mailed us a bill stating past due.Aside from mailing us false bills - we have received NO REPLIES via email or phone from them.We just received a final demand letter stating if we dont pay- they are going to send it to collections.Send a bill- for something they never did- that never aired- that we cancelled - with stations that dont even work with them- to collections! We have our attorney working on this so are not concerned- but wanted to give a heads up to all that look them up! RUN- dont give them into or they will hassle you for months with false charges and no advertisements!Business Response

I find it absolutely amazing how this business will NOT answer the phone, Ever, or reply to ANY emails Until a review has been posted, and then they respond so promptly. I highly highly highly doubt that it was a clerical error and will make sure to never recommend them.Ihave reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me so long as we never receive contact from them again.

Blueprint Broadcasting called claiming to represent the Pickle, an FM radio station (**** WPKL) based out of *********, ** and simulcast on **** WKPL FM in *******, **. Blueprint Media was rude, aggressive and insisted that we were going to purchase advertising from the Pickle -even though we repeatedly said that we weren't interested. We called the Pickle and they have no affiliation with Blueprint Broadcasting. Apparently, others have had a problem with Blueprint Broadcasting claiming to sell ads on the Pickle. We never purchased advertising from Blueprint Broadcasting or the Pickle. This harassment needs to stop immediately.Business Response

Blueprint Broadcasting contacted me via phone to offer advertisement. I told them I wasn't interested. They called multiple times a day from multiple phone numbers. They sent a bill claiming to have advertised for my company (***** ******** Concrete LLC). I never agreed to have them advertise but after months of multiple harassing phone calls I went ahead and wrote them a check for $354 hoping they'd leave me alone. They continue to call multiple times a day and sent me yet another invoice on November 10th 2022 for $154 saying they're going to run an advertisement from December 5th 2022- December 23rd 2022. (9 slots) I already told them multiple times that I am not interested. In fact when I sent them the 1st check I wrote to them to saying I wasn't interested in any further advertisement or communication from them. This most recent invoice has a payment date of December 12th 2022 so I expect the harassing phone calls to be multiple times a day again. I will not be harassed into paying for something I didn't agree to.Business Response

We listened to the radio stations where they said they were going to play our ad. We never heard our ad play. I received an invoice (#******) way before any services were supposed to be rendered. First of all, my name is NOT ******. I spelled my name twice for the guy. The due date was for 9/19/2022. Our ads were supposed to play from 9/13/2022 through 9/24/2022. Why would the invoice be due before the ads were even completed? They started harassing me the day of my invoice being due. I received 7 phone calls the first day and 6 each day for the rest of the week. Now, I receive 4 phone calls every day with at least 2 voicemails of him breathing. If I don't pick up, he immediately calls back again. My biggest issue is them using a spoofed number instead of their actual number. Good businesses do not do that. Especially using my husband's number but when I answered, to my surprise, it was this jerk from Blueprint Broadcasting. When I asked him why it shows my husband on the caller ID, he laughed and said they do that sometimes. Only scammers use that tactic. I'm not paying for services that were never rendered and I'm especially not paying a scammer so they can make a quick buck.Business Response

Ads for this invoice broadcasted on the radio. They broadcast between a 3 hour block. Because the customer did not hear the message does not mean that the messages did not run. We have proof that they did run. The invoice and schedule are mailed out before the announcements broadcast so the customer has the opportunity to tune in and listen to their messages. We would never misrepresent who we are when trying to collect an open invoice, that does not make sense. We are an accredited business with the BBB and have been in business for over 10 years. Being labeled a scam business by someone that is unhappy with services provided is unfair. We will walk away from this invoice. As for the customer saying we called from her husbands number to collect a bill and made breathing noises in the phone is ABSURD and pointless. We will no linger contact this business and they no longer have an invoice with our company. We honor the business' desired settlement.Initial Complaint

SCAMMERS!!!Blueprint Broadcasting called me on my business phone number and tried to sell me radio spots and promised I would receive audio proof of the ad, for my approval/schedule of the play stations and times. After hearing no response of what I had asked for, I asked several timeS for the proof it had been played and where. I could not find anything. I called and told them I am not doing business with them because of the lack of information I requested, and never received. When I looked up this business I found multiple complaints from other people stating the exact thing that was done to me. In addition, they kept sending invoices and kept calling and harasing me on my business phone number. They kept calling me from all different names and numbers would appear on my caller ID, and I have to pick up my business phone to receive jobs. When I would pick up they would say "This is Blueprint Broadcasting, don't hang up"....etc. I was constantly seeing all different names and numbers, thinking it was customers needing service, only to find out it was them again and again demanding half the bill, it continued for several months. Then I received more bills from them stating the full $300 dollars was due again and again. Afterwards I received more invoices stating it will be reported to a collection agency in seven days, that was 2months ago. I just received a final demand letter wanted the full amount paid or they would report it to the collection agency again. ACCORDING TO THE ***** AND LENDING ACT. THE *** RULES CLEARLY PROHIBIT ANYONE FROM TRANSMITTING MISLEADING OR INNACCURATE CALLER ID INFORMATION WITH THE INTENT TO DEFRAUD CAUSE HARM OR WRONGLY OBTAIN ANYTHING OF VALUE, WHICH I HAVE PROOF OF THE MULTIPLE TIMES THAT BLUEPRING BROADCASTING HAS DONE TO ME AND MY BUSINESS! I told them to stop calling me from the beginning and I let them know I know they are scammers and I want nothing to do with them. I want this bill of theirs removed in full!Business Response

There is not and never has been an attempt to defraud anyone. This is another case of a consumer that purchased our product, googled our name and read other BBB complaints stating that we are a "scam" in order to get out of paying their invoice. This customer did purchase radio commercials that aired on the radio and has an unpaid invoice with our company. We will walk away from this invoice and the customer will no longer be contacted. We would have happily canceled the invoice before the announcements ran if the customer called in to do so. We are absolutely NOT a scam we have affidavits from the radio station that the messages have been broadcasted. We are canceling this invoiceCustomer Answer
