I have an open insurance claim to American Alliance casualty (AAC) for an auto accident with one of their clients. *** is impossible to reach for assistance with my claim. There is a police report stating AAC client was at fault. *** is not performing the business functions of an acceptable insurance carrier and should be held liable for their lack of responsibility.

My 2011 Kia **** was covered/insured with American Alliance Casualty. My car was stolen and I filed a claim. All information required by American Alliance was submitted. We had documents notarized, returned the key to the car that was provided to us at the time we purchased, we did everything they asked. They acknowledged receipt of the requested information and then turned around and said we had not sent it. It was sent via Certified U.S. mail and signed for by someone at American Alliance. This information was also emailed. My wife called to check on the status of our claim. She provided them our claim number and they proceeded to discuss with us the status of our stolen ********* Mind you our car was a 2011 Kia ****. On February 25, 2025, I received a letter from American Alliance dated May 21, 2024, which states due to my lack of interest in pursuing the claim it is being closed. We have called and or emailed them almost every week for the last 6 months. They have no intention on reviewing or honoring our claim.

I had an car accident which totaled my car on 01/08/2024 and American Alliance waited until the car was too expensive to retrieve from the in pound to tell me that it needed to be at my home for an estimator to come out and view the damage. They told me that the in pound lot wont allow them on the property! I spoke with the owner and he said he didnt have a problem with them coming onto the property. I relayed this to the company and they never went out to the in pound instead they asked me for photos and once I sent the photos and video they said I had to upload them on an app that required me to in front of the vehicle and at that time.. The vehicle was no longer available for me to do so. They have yet to return my calls Ive reported them to the attorney general and the attorney general sent the complaint to the ************************* and American Alliance sent them false documents as if they were reaching out to me and I wasnt responding. Which is a lie, I could never get an answer via phone and when I did and would complain I was hung up on and so I started reaching out via email sometimes Id get an response sometimes I wouldnt. Until they just stopped responding at all! They havent even paid my finance company which puts the car in bad standing on my credit. Making it impossible for me to get a new vehicle! Its costing me thousands of dollars to rent vehicles as well as to **** around. Also my insurance was paid up for six months, I asked if I would be refunded the three months that was left I was told no!

I am rejecting this response because: All of the dates listed are dates that I reached out to them. Also, in one of the emails that Ive attached they state that the claim was pending and yet here it is a year later not a word from them. Despite my many attempts to reach out to them! Also, how is it pending when they told me that it was closed out? This is effecting my credit by having the vehicle as a charge off on there.

Unit 1 veered left and struck the right rear corner of ****** ****** (Unit 2) vehicle and then immediately fled west on ******* and north on ******* St (evidenced by several Ring Cameras). The driver was identified by his uncle who is next door neighbors with ****** *******. On 12/4/2024, ******* texted ****** ******* admitting fault in the crash and provided his insurance (American Alliance Casualty Company). Immediately after, I submitted a claim with American Alliance and after 4 weeks of trying to get an estimate, they sent a letter in the mail stating they were closing the case and not paying out my claim for the reason of "There is no coverage for this loss as our insured has not reported a loss within 30 days as required." After receiving this, I emailed their corporate support twice with no response and called their customer service and the adjuster and have been ignored. Under Illinois State law I have a right to seek compensation for my claim.

I am a victim of the insurance company American Alliance. On November 7, 2024, I was rear ended by an individual insured by American Alliance named ****** L *******. Numerous calls (over 20) to the Supervisor name **** ****** have gone unanswered since November, 2024. Numerous calls (over 20) to the claims adjuster ****** Hadwell have gone unanswered since November 2024. I personally drove to the business address on January 29, 2025, and found no business at the address listed. My vehicle is sitting at a business named Waukegan Tire and Repair where I had to pay $1000.00 out of my pocket for them to start the work on the damages. I fear I will begin being charged for storage fees because it has been so long since the accident. I have exhausted all efforts to be made whole by American Alliance. The company is simply ignoring me and their obligation to pay for the damages caused by their insured driver. Even my insurance company has tried to assist in communicating with American Alliance and they have ignored my insurance company as well. I do not have out of pocket expenses to cover American Alliances insured drivers damages caused by rear ending me. I am a 100% disabled veteran living on a fixed income. The accident was not my fault. I did not receive any tickets. The damages are expensive. I have the invoices. This is my only vehicle. I have been without my vehicle for 97 days to date. No one will communicate with me at American Alliance. No one will contact me back from American Alliance. I cannot afford to be in the condition I am in with no vehicle and surmounting bills. I am and always have been a legally insured driver.

A person insured by an American Alliance Casualty Company hit my car while it was parked on 01/25/2025. I submitted all the paperwork to process the claim and nobody answers the phone and theres no follow up from this company to process the claim. My truck was rear ended while parked and I read the online reviews about this company and others have had similar experiences. I would like this business investigated and I would like to be fully compensated for my loss and have access to my vehicle which was hit so hard from behind that it went from the street into the grass. Your investigation would be most appreciated because a company operating an insurance company but not following up on people filing claims is in essence committing fraud and I will also report them to the ************************ if this matter isnt addressed expeditiously.

American Alliance Casualty Company just informed me a day ago that they were waiting for information from they client, now all of a sudden once they see that I have filed a legitimate complaint against their fraudulent business and its practices of giving people the run around by having them on hold for 30 minutes to an hour at a time that now since a day ago, now they have information from the client and their not liable. Honestly go to their website and read the reviews on the company and they are all sub par. Its a flat out fraud of a company and I dont believe lies. They want to shift the blame to the client who was paying for insurance but now their client or the company isnt liable for their insured? The business reviews are accurate and this company is without merit. They dont even follow up with status reports and you want me to believe that since I talked with them briefly like a day ago after three weeks of no calls, and being sent to voicemails and no receipt of emails that now they fully investigated the case when it was nothing being done for three weeks. I requested a timeline on my last call to them as to when this matter would move forward and they had absolutely no timeline as to when the matter would be resolved because they were waiting for additional client information. Simply put, its a lie. Have them show proof of what they are stating. At the onset I had already looked up the statute of limitations to sue someone be it business or person so I had that fact. The police report listed three vehicles but funny how their client only had front end damage and my truck rear damage so the third party with no information was more than likely a made up story from the client which is common sense because its listed as a hit and run for the third party! The client caused the damage and thats fact. In closure I dont believe them and personal experience in calling the company and speaking to them, reading their reviews and first hand seeing how convoluted the process is trying to come to a resolution further lets me know that they are simply put, lying! I believe the client paid them for insurance in good faith and probably thought that they would be insured for causing damage to another persons property if they were to hit someones vehicle. I also believe that not only is the company lying in this instance but based on its practices has a history of the same behavior and practices. To many people are stating the same thing. I personally have no reason to lie because I was at work when my vehicle was hit and the Police Officer left the information about the accident on my truck in which I followed up. Ill be reporting this business to the Attorney General for investigation and also seeking legal counsel to file for damages.

On 11/21/2024 ******** ***** parked in our driveway, left her car running, exited the car and entered our residence. According to her story, her dog who had been left in the car, jumped into the front seat and shifted the car into gear. The car drove forward and crashed into our garage door. When leaving our residence, she looked at the damage and left without reporting it. After reviewing our video footage, we knew that her car caused the damage. We filed a claim with her insurance, American Alliance Casualty Company. Since November we have spent more than 20 hours on hold. We have not been allowed to speak to any supervisor, we have received no phone calls and the agent in charge of our case will not answer our calls. We have provided them with video footage, photos of the damage, a receipt for temporary repairs to close the door to protect our home from weather and intrusion, and an estimate for the necessary replacement of the garage door. They did have an independent appraiser come to look at the damage in late December. At that time, he indicated that he would be recommending payment for replacement of the door. We have never seen received a copy of his report. On January 10, after many hours on the phone, they emailed me a copy of an offer for settlement for damage to my car for $1595. We were looking for $3250 for damage to our garage. Two weeks ago they told me they were reviewing the case. Today they told me that they have decided they are not liable. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life. Is there anything you can do to help?

My Granddaughter has her own insurance coverage for her Vehicle with the same Company. She never use my vehicle. I asked her to take some Xmas gifts to her dads house on 12/25/2024 8pm. She went outside came back in informed me her vehicle was on a flat she asked me can she take my car I said Ill allowed it this time and I received a phone call informing me she was in an accident around 4 to 5am 12/26/2024. I called to file a claim. Took the steps to retrieve my vehicle from the holding area was told I would be reimburse for that so I did $574 ,They never came to pickup my vehicle, its sitting right now outside my place. How Bogus!! I call for updates we are awaiting the *** to appraise the vehicle. I call again we just got the police report. Then the call today DENIED!!! I didnt inform them she stay there. She a grown women not a child 26yrs old. I just finish paying off my vehicle in 05/2024. We pay into auto insurance to cover us in these times. If this is how they going to respond when we are paying for a service and not receiving what is promise is a fraud.

      ***** ******,
The adjuster contacted you on 1/30/2025 to explain the denial and also sent you an email with the same information. This claim was denied because your policy application did not list ******* ****** as a resident or exclude them from the policy. Due to your failure to not disclose ******* as a resident driver, the coverage was rightfully denied. As a result, no payments will be issued, and the denial remains in effect.

This is the letter I sent to the response of the last email below they sent you from American Alliance.

Gm. My name is ***** ******, I am NOT in agreement with your Decision.  I have full coverage insurance on 2 vehicle with your company. The vehicle in questioned is the 2016 Hyundai ****** Sport. I payed you monthly for a Service Required by the state. The vehicle is the coverage not the person. Now that Im in need of service in return, youre bring up some technicality about an address notification dispute. ******* Habler has her own vehicle has her own insurance with the same company I have. Yes with American Alliance Casualty. She has full coverage with you and between both of us being fully insured with you living at the same address taking payments monthly sending mail. You were fully aware we had the same address. That argument is no longer valid. You have representatives working for your company that have seen our names and address together didnt make a call to us to inquire if this is an issue. Are you working for the people who pay you for service or are you setting us up for DENIAL! I want to work with you to get this resolved the way it should have in the first place, but I am ready to go further to the ***** I want to be fully compensated for the value of my Vehicle. I would like to put a claim against ******** insurance company. Policy# ILAN-*******-00

      Sincerely,

      ***** Habler

I am rejecting this response because: This company is a Fraudulent Company

This company misrepresented their self as being an ************* when they only wants to collect consumers payments then find an excuse to deny the claims. I will not be bully by the fact that they feel everybody need to be on your policy that's in your house even though they have there own vehicle, so they can get more money from you. She had the same Company. between both policies I should be paid off. This is a company that caters to themselves. A one sided Business should NOT be in Business!!

      Sincerely,
