    Do not buy from this company the return authorization slip has a bogus phone number for returns the item I received was broken into pieces

    I ordered two wireless meat thermometers they were garbage had to stand within 10 feet of the grill in order to work.. contacted them and they kept offering me a 20% refund and keep the product.. I kept telling them that was not good enough and I wanted a full refund.. kept giving me the run around until it had been exactly 30days then sent me an email with how to return it and told me it had to be returned within 30 days

    I purchased a ROBOVAC X with a two year warranty. It worked for one hour!! I have been emailing and calling Loft Essentials for over a month. Numerous emails and MANY calls. This has been going on since December 30th and I have been trying to resolve this with a refund or a replacement and have not received either as of today Feb 12th. Do NOT purchase from this company that claims to be in ***** ****!!! I believe this is a scam!!!!

    They claim to offer refunds, but when I spent the money to ship the item back to them AND got it tracked to prove it had been delivered, they claimed it was never delivered. They refused to refund my money. All was done within their 30 day window. I agree that they are scam artists!

    I ordered a furnace part. It worked 2 days only. The website says a 30 day guarantee but, when I jumped through all the hoops they asked me still won't issue a refund. Now they say 6-8 weeks longer for a response. When I issued payment to them they sure took it immediately. I'm disgusted in their so called guarantee. Never again will I order from this place. Nor will I recommend to anyone.

    We ordered a specific toto drake toilet tank. We received a completely different tank. The reviews show that this is the norm. No one answers the phone and they dont return messages. Then you expect us to pay for returns when you intentionally sent the wrong item. Dont buy from here.

    Don't buy ANYTHING from them!!!!I bought a water tank for my toilet and they sent me the wrong item! When I asked for replacement they said that they don't have the item that I needed.I asked for a prepaid shipping label (as the price for the return cost almost as the item itself) and their answer was "As previously mentioned, we won't be able to provide a prepaid shipping label"At least they have a sense of humor and they wrote to me: "however, as a one-time courtesy, we will waive the restocking fee on this return."?I wish I read their rating 1.5/5 before dealing with them.

    Dont buy from here. False advertisement of delivery date. Ordered a shower enclosure on 8/27 for $90 more than ********** because they said it would be delivered 8/31 vs 9/5. On 8/31 was told my freight it would be delivered 9/5. It didnt show up that day. Showed up 9/6 (at 5pm as last stop of the route) but the main shower door was broken so only 4/5 pieces were delivered. Was told the shower door would be delivered 9/11 but shipping ** called at 7:30am saying the item didnt make it into the truck and would be delivered 9/12. Took a 4th day off work for the delivery but it again did not arrive.

    My experience with HomeEssentialsDirect was excellent! Multiple companies use "Home Essentials..." in their name. Some bad reviews may be confused with "the other guys". I ordered an RP-30Q RV furnace core (replacing Suburban SF-25Q). HomeEssentialsDirect had lowest price ($75 less than big name building center w/ same item), free shipping or expedited shipping for only $10 more. I was worried about poor reviews, but reviews were mixed & some mis-stated the name; suspecting confusion I went ahead & took my chances. I ordered Jan 19 & paid for expedited 4 day shipping. Tracking # given on order confirmation didn't show which carrier used, just "Fast Shipping" - this worried me so I googled tracking #. It wasn't recognized by ANY carriers - now I'm more worried. I emailed HomeEssentialsDirect customer service. To my relief response came <24hrs - a very telling factor about a company, bogus or shoddy companies don't respond timely. Customer Support Specialist, ************** clarified carrier used & provided a link for tracking (oddly email didnt show HomeEssentialsDirect anywhere, it came from: zappysalescomsupportATzappysales.freshdesk.com). At 1st I thought it a bogus link to a "Look-alike" website because I'd already entered tracking # in that carrier website & it wasn't recognized...amazingly, now it WAS recognized... maybe I tried it before website updated? Item arrived as predicted Jan 25th! Box clearly marked "This Side Up ONLY" obviously had been slammed on every side ************ The internal packing was poor allowing furnace core to bounce around - amazingly nothing broke. Likely core was packed by mfgr./supplier (possibly in *****), HomeEssentislsDirect only forwarding it to me so not their fault. I installed furnace and...it did NOT work...arrrgh! Pulled it back out to trouble shoot...a wire connector slipped off it's terminal - likely during it's rough transport...no fault of HomeEssentialsDirect. Reinstalled ************** working great!

    Too bad I did not find this review page before I ordered. The product I received was a different model than the one I ordered. I have contacted Home Essentials but am not optimistic that the correct model will be provided.
