      GrubHub runs specials where you can get free GrubHub+ membership subscription covered by your other subscriptions, such as Amazon Prime or Lyft Pink. You still have to attach a credit card to your account, but it is not charged. GrubHub is changing people's membership from the free/covered membership to their $9.99/mo membership with no email communication to note the change. There is nowhere to select to stop the membership once the other coverage ends.Additionally, my other coverage DID NOT end and they still switched me over to the $9.99/mo membership. This feels like shady business practices and not fair for consumers.

      I placed a food order to ************ in ***********, IN on August 5, 2025 in the amount of $24.14. I received a text message that the order had been cancelled. I also received an email that the order was cancelled (no reason was given) and that a refund would be issued to my banking institution within 15 business days. It still has not been refunded!! I have called three times to their customer service department and all I am told was that the refund was issued and to contact my bank. I have been in contact with my bank twice and the refund was never received. They have "escalated" twice to their resolution department with no result.

      My ** was compromised for a Grub Hub order at 10:16 this morning. I immediately cancelled my card and contacted Grub Hub with the transaction amount, time of transaction, and last 4 of the ** charged. I don't have a Grub Hub account so they said they can't help me. This is the reason there is so much fraud when company's won't give you information a** simple as where the order was made or where they are going to help law enforcement combat this type of fraud! **************** is zero help. I will also be making a complaint with the ************************* since this company allows this type of fraud to occur.

      I ordered from jets pizza and the entire bottom of the pizza was soaked and the pizza itself was soggy because of that, Grubhub wont refund Im going to post this on social media

      I ordered a big order from grubhub $90 in food and two of the items were missing upon delivery. I tried contacting grubhub on the app and want in the chat for almost an hour and no one responded. I also called twice. First ****** I spoke to told me they were refunding my order for the one item. Then I called back again seeing another item was missing and they ****** told me there was not refund request even in for the first item and put a new one in for two items. Then I get a call back and it was first ****** I talked to and they told me they could refund the order and was only giving me $7 off my next order!!! Like really thats a joke Im missing $24 in items and only want to give me money off my next order!! I want a refund for the whole order now!!

      I ordered from Grubhub on 8/30 and work in a small rural hospital. I asked that it be dropped off at the ******************** registration desk. I received a picture of the food from the driver which looked like it was taken on asphalt but there was no other location identifying features in the photo. The food never arrived. I contacted Grubhub through the app and marked that my food never came. It goes to a chat feature. There was no response. The next morning, I tried to contact them again through the same way. Still no response. I looked again on the app today to make sure i wasn't missing a number to contact them with and there was no phone number. I sent another message to let them know that my food never came and that I would appreciate a response to my issue. I thought to look up a help number on ****** and called the help line. The gentleman then told me that because I didn't call within the first 24 hours that they were unable to issue me a refund. Even though I did contact them through the only available feature on the app for food that is not delivered, multiple times. I would just like a refund for the food i didn't get. I have since deleted the app and will never order from them again. It is a great service but between the food not arriving and then following the steps that were available to make it right and then being told that I was still not getting a refund is ridiculous. I have included a picture of the emailed receipt (which now I see includes the phone number feature but it didn't occur to me that they would have it on there if it wasn't on the app) and the picture that was sent to me by the driver.

      Like many, many, many of the reviews and complaints have states on BBB about Grubhub. I was given a refund in the form of grubhub credit, but the credit cannot be used. When I spoke with Chat Support they said so sorry we can't give you an actual refund.

      They did not address my concerns, but I figured out the fix. I had two different kinds of grubhub credits, and if i used both for an order it would not work. If I just select one, it works. May want to let them know that if we can't use both on an order to let us know that.

      I placed an order with Grub Hub with a local ******************* *********************. The order was comprised of two salads and two flat bread pizzas. The salads were fine; however, the pizzas were literally ice cold. I applied for a refund and despite my several efforts, there has been no response from Grub Hub.

      I placed an order through Grubhub with an expected delivery time of no later than 3:00 PM. However, my order did not arrive until 3:30 PM. The driver picked up the food at 2:45 PM, yet when it finally arrived, my fries and boneless wings were completely cold, which was very **************** 3:10 PM, I reached out to the driver to inform him that my order should have arrived by 3:00 PM, but I received no response. I then contacted customer service, where the first representative kept me on hold for an extended period before informing me that I had been given a $5 credit for the delay. She explained that the delivery was still considered accurate and that no additional compensation could be offered.I was then transferred to a supervisor named *****, who offered an additional $5 refund in Grubhub credits, which I declined. She later increased the offer to $10 in Grubhub credits, which I also declined. I would like my money refunded back to my card.Due to this unsatisfactory experience, I will no longer be using my Grubhub Plus membership, and I intend to cancel it and switch to ordering exclusively through **** Eats.
