      *Enrolled a couple of years ago in a 5-year plan to consolidate debt. *Original payment (pmt) plan was approximately $300 biweekly. *Multiple litigations ultimately resulted in a biweekly increase to $608. Though devastating financially, I had to agree because of legal threats. *Paid off two accounts since starting. Last time I paid an acct off, I was told I had to have all required funds in the **** BEFORE drafting payoff request. I did this to lower my pmt. I was then told the *** would not be lowered despite the fact that there was now an entire monthly pmt resolved on the acct. Was told there was nothing I could do so I had to let it go. *I accumulated enough money to pay off one of the accounts being litigated and was hopeful that this would lower my pmt. Well, I deposited the funds and waited for them to clear as I was told to do in the past and called to try and get this acct paid. AGAIN, they want $900 more to pay it. I am told that the money in the **** is to pay the monthly payments. I say No, the payment I already paid, and the charge next week is what covers my resolution pmts. I am then told the system RECONFIGURED spending in the acct with the additional funds, so now those funds are tied to your resolution pmts. I was told if I wanted to use that money for a payoff then I should have called to start the process. A DIRECT contradiction to what I WAS PREVIOUSLY TOLD! I asked to reverse deposit and now they want to threaten that my resolution offers are going to be in jeopardy because of how the SYSTEM moved my funds. If the 1700 had never existed, they would have made do with the 1200 Im ALREADY paying for the month and would never have asked for anything additional. This company is making it extremely hard to get out of debt. I try to do something, Im reminded of fees and asked for MORE MONEY. Why are so many fees being processed before LEGALLY SENSITIVE debt is being paid? They put their own pockets before their JOB of helping you pay off debt.

Because I hadnt received a response in time to retrieve the $1700, I had to let the account rework the funds. I am still not happy at all, but theres not much I can do here.

      I have reason to believe I was misled by Beyond Financial into enrolling in their program under the guise that it would save me money and that my credit would only suffer for a short period of time. Its been over a year, and my credit score has been significantly impacted. They have only settled one account and Im receiving letters from debt collectors threatening to sue me. Beyond financial have not been in contact with any of the other credit card companies. So far, Ive deposited $6348.48 in my account with them. They only accepted one offer from ****. Out of the $6348.48 Ive paid into my account, only ******* went to Amex. $2372.30 are fees they collected from me. A supervisor told me their fee from the **** negotiation is *******. They were not transparent about their fees. My initial balance was roughly $10,000. When I add their fees to the negotiated amount, Im still paying about $10,000.00. Essentially, I did not benefit in any way from their program and Im the meantime, my credit has been ruined!

      Review of your enrollment interactions confirmed that proper expectations surrounding the impact to your creditworthiness were set.  Beyond Finance is not a credit repair company and never presented itself as such.  Additionally, the program fee was also clearly disclosed.  This information can be referenced in your enrollment agreement in paragraph 13. Disclaimer (credit impact) and 11. (A) (program fee).  


      The ability to negotiate new offers is dependent upon the accumulation of funds in your dedicated account.  While you always have the option to add additional funds to help expedite the process, it is never required.  This program is designed to care for all of the enrolled debt, including all related fees, throughout the duration of the program term.

      I am rejecting this response because the stated purpose of their program is to reduce my enrolled debt. All my enrolled debt has actually increased significantly. Whether it be due to Beyond Finances fees or fees and interest from the credit card companies. 

      In the image I attached, it states what they do. Ive been enrolled for a year and a half now and they have only accepted on offer. They did not even negotiate to lower the offer. They simply accepted what the company offered.

To charge the ridiculous fee they do and not save me any money is predatory! In their response, they stated that they have contacted me several times to resolve this issue. They have not! Beyond Finance has my cell, email and home address. I have no voicemails, emails or stale mail from this company. They are not even honest in their response!

      I initially reached out to Beyond to help with some debts. One large collection of around $8000 and a few others. They assessed my total debt around $10,000 and needed close to $200 per paycheck to start paying these off. This took into account my $8000 debt but that wasnt looked at for a few months until I brought it up at which time they said I need to pay an extra $200 every paycheck to cover that which went on for a few months until they said they could not resolve that debt. I want to know where this money was going. I also found out I was paying for a debt that was over 10 years old and had already been excused. I really just want to know where all my money has gone because I have debt collectors asking for payments and I expected Beyond to be helping with that.

      In reference to the older account, as an agent explained in their email response to your inquiry, there was a recent payment towards that account prior to your enrollment which maintained the account in a collections status.

      I cancelled my enrollment as soon as I started it reading all these bad reviews. Whats ******* me off now is I want to request my information not be sold since all of a sudden I keep getting loan emails but customer service is useless! I want to know how to opt out of information being sold and held by them! I dont want your generic answers either! I want an actual email, fax, some form of correspondence for New York State residents to send request for information to be deleted and not used!

      I enrolled in Beyond Finance in 2023. I was told it was a program that will negotiate my debt with the company I owe and will improve my credit in "a couple of months". I was pressured to stop paying the companies directly, although I shared I was uncomfortable doing that and wanted to do it another way. I was struggling with payments due to hardship and eventually gave in because I was told it was the only way to handle it. Throughout my time in the program, I was told my payments were being made directly to the company I owed money to- Upstart. Recently, I called Upstart to make sure the payments were going to them and was told that they weren't. Instead my debt was sold and payments were being received by another company. In addition- due to the lack of transparency and timely handling of negotiations, Beyond Finance never told me they were having trouble contacting another company I owed debt to- ****************. This led to a lawsuit against me being filed (which I'm actually grateful for). This led to me being in contact with the judge and lawyer handling the lawsuit who both informed me that I can work on this directly with **************** to repair my credit and pay off my debt. My issues with Beyond Finance are their predatory behavior with enrollment, false outcomes of the program, and general lies with what they've been doing with my payments.

      At this time you have approved offers on two of your enrolled accounts.  Of which, both are currently in progress.  You approved both offers six months into your enrollment, in alignment with established expectations.  You are progressing successfully through the program.


      Review confirmed no guarantee was made regarding the improvement of your creditworthiness.  Beyond Finance is not a credit repair organization and never presented itself as one.  Additionally, you were clearly educated for the need to decide to cease payment to the creditors in order to achieve successful resolution offers and you made the decision to move forward with that action.  This program was presented as an option for you, but you were not informed that it was your only option.


      It is common practice for a creditor to sell debt to collectors as was the case with your UpStart accounts.  This does not render the resolution any less legitimate and all payments have been made as required for both of those arrangements.  This program is designed to care for all of your enrolled debt throughout the duration of your program.  At no point were your remaining accounts mishandled, we were waiting for the accumulation of funds needed for meaningful negotiation efforts to be able to take place.

      I enrolled in Beyond Finance (BF) after being promised a simple, stress-free debt resolution program. They emphasized they wouldnt get paid until my debts were resolved and assured me they were customer-focused. I was told I could manage offers through their app without pressure or phone calls and was encouraged to deposit extra funds into a dedicated account to finish sooner.After five months with no offers, I received one on top of 25% fee from my account. They also promised a loan offer after six months, which never happened. Over 15 months, only two small debts were settledboth with the added 25% feeyet my account still showed $0, despite paying extra each month, and the debt with their fees was still over what I originally owed.When another offer came through, I was forced to CALL. ** demanded I increase my monthly payments to cover their fees and the cost of this debt, pushing the total above my original debt. I declined and expressed frustration. During that call, a *** asked if I wanted to cancel. I did not agree and NEVER SPOKE THE WORD CANCEL to them. I was frustrated over the program and this offer costing me well over the original debt with their fees added. Despite this, they wrongfully canceled my account, failed to pay one debt in resolution (causing the offer to lapse), and still took fees for unresolved accounts.When I asked for the call transcript, they referenced to claim I agreed to cancel, they refused to provide it. Even after canceling my account, they withdrew $234.68 from my bank without my consent to a canceled account. I requested refunds for $327.86 and $283.93, taken for services not completed and wrongfully cancel and my deposit. All requests were ********* failed to fulfill promises, mis***resented terms, and charged fees without justification. They prey on people in financial distress and provide little to no real help. I want to warn others about this misleading and harmful program.

      Review confirmed that at the time of your enrollment you were transparently educated about the program fee, including how and when it is earned and collected.  This information can be referenced in your enrollment agreement in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees.  All fees were earned and collected in accordance with these guidelines.


      At no point was a demand issued for you to increase your monthly deposit amount.  You were presented with a conditional offer that would provide you the opportunity to resolve an enrolled account, but would require additional funds.  This was not presented as a requirement.


      During this interaction you advised that you were done with the program and were unresponsive to follow up efforts to reach out to you.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. I rejected the offer and your business continued to call me, leaving me a message REGARDING THE OFFER, that was WELL over the amount I owed with your fees included to make it more. I had even REQUESTED the copy of my recorded messages with your company since July regarding all of these matters, and was told you would not provide this.

      2. I was made aware of your high 25% fee for each offer, yes, I agree with this, however YOU made it clear that you would not receive this payment until the payments were complete and the resolution was complete. The resolutions had not been complete and you drained all of my account.

      3. I did not receive any written notification in my EMAIL, MAIL or APP stating that you were trying to cancel my program and I needed to contact you. Your phone calls, WHEN YOU HEAR THE MESSAGES, will show that I received messages regarding my resolution offer, not my current account. I stated I did not accept the offer, and your BUSINESS continued to call me REQUESTING I speak on the OFFER that I was not pleased with or interested in accepting. You canceled my signed plan without my signature, without my permission BASED on YOUR subjective assumption over MY FRUSTRATION with the company and their lack of working out offers after 2 years of my business and taking my money. 

      4. You took fees from plans that were CANCELED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and I HAD BEEN PAYING on time and had a good standing with. YOU completely messed up any of the work that I had been promised by your company to clear up and work on. You swindled me into this program by making false hope claims that I could get an approved loan AFTER 6 months of working with the plan, but I continued to be told " I haven't qualified for this yet." 

      5. You CANCELED MY PROGRAM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WITHOUT CLARIFYING DURING THE CALL THAT I WOULD INDEED CANCEL. I STATED I WOULD NEED TO FIND ADDITIONAL HELP TO FIX MY CREDIT, I DID NOT SAY THAT I WANTED TO CANCEL THE PROGRAM. NOT ONCE DID YOU HEAR ME SAY THE WORD CANCEL, YOU SUBJECTIVELY ASSUMED AND TOOK IT UPON YOURSELF TO CANCEL ME, AND I ONLY FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS AFTER YOU WITHDREW ANOTHER PAYMENT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AND MY APP SHOWED ALL OF THE OFFERS GONE. YOU TOOK FEES IN JUNE AND JULY THAT WERE FROM PROGRAMS YOU CANCELED WITHOUT PERMISSION. This is taking advantage over customers that are trying to fix their credit and make right with the companies. I thought your company was going to be helpful and a blessing, but it ended up costing me more in the end, and I am still trying to figure out how to fix my cards. You even stated you could "redo my program" but then I would have to start over with the two cards that I had resolutions on because it was too late. You took fees to pay yourself on cards that were not complete and didn't even pay my *********** payment as promised due to the fees you took for yourself. 

      6. I deserve the fees taken in the months of June and July to be returned to me for your wrongful cancelation and the stress you have caused due to this.

      At no time were you informed that no fee would be collected prior to the resolution payments being completed to the creditor.  Your enrollment agreement clearly states that we are eligible to collect any portions of that fee after you have approved the resolution and a minimum of one payment has been made to your creditor.


      As previously stated the language used in your interaction clearly indicated your desire to terminate the program and several efforts to reach you were made that were all unsuccessful.


      Your program was served within all established expectations.

      These continued allegations stating that I closed the account when you are unable to provide proof of this through a transcript, that I've requested and you've denied only show more proof the business is not a good one for any consumer to use. I DID NOT close my account. In fact, I've provided proof that YOUR business HARRASSED me over an option when I decline to accept this offer. YOU CALLED ME continuously to accept the plan you stated that I had an option to decline. You REQUESTED more money in addition to the the money I had already been contributing each month to accept this offer and if YOU look at the other document that I provided from YOUR business you will see you even FAILED to make the JULY payment promised to ***********, causing it to go null. You took fees out to pay YOURSELF and AGAIN, if you listen to the TRANSCRIPT of my ******* offer for this program over 2 years ago, you will HEAR YOUR SALESPERSON tell me that "WE DON"T GET PAID UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR OFFER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CLEARED... WE TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER FIRST BEFORE WE PAY OURSELF." This is what your *** stated to get me to even sign up for your program, then with a promise of a loan in 6 months, that NEVER happened. I did not CLOSE my account. YOU closed it without my permission. YOUR statement saying that I ignored your calls and didn't respond to your contact was not regarding a CLOSING OF MY ACCOUNT!!!! It was a continued REPEATED message that you left me asking me to ACCEPT an offer resolution that I did not want to accept. IT is the EXACT SAME message sent to me daily and the first one (THAT IS THE SAME MESSAGE) was BEFORE I SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT the offer and was so upset over the fact that I had to call you and give you money over the phone after ACCEPTING A PLAN Agreement for 2 years already. You continued to call me, leaving the same message. At no point did you state you were trying to reach me before I CLOSED this account. NO!!! You stated the exact same message you had been sending me prior to this phone conversation that YOU CLAIMED I CANCELED MY ACCOUNT!!!! THESE MESSAGES, MISSED CALLS AND OUTGOING CALLS ALL SHOW OUR TIME SPEAKING, WHEN I ATTEMTPTED TO CALL YOU BACK TO FIX THIS FIASCO AND YOU STILL CLOSED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND THEN TOOK OUT ADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE MONTH OF **** WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WITHOUT FULLFILLING YOUR END OF THE PROGRAM. YOU CLOSED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION. THIS IS NOT LEGAL. NO WHERE IN OUR CONTRACT DOES IT STATE YOU CAN CLOSE MY ACCOUNT BASED ON YOUR SUBJECTIIVE ASSUMPTION. I DID NOT SIGN TO CLOSE, YOU DID NOT SEND ME A MESSAGE OR PAPERWORK STATING I CLOSED. YOU CLOSED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND TOOK MY MONEY. 

      I WANT THE FUNDS FROM **** RETURNED TO **. YOUR COMPANY SHOULD NOT HAVE AN A+ RATING BECAUSE IT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE TRYING TO WORK OUT THEIR CREDIT MESS IN A TIME OF INFLATION AND HARD TIMES.       I signed up with Beyond Finance in 07/2023 I was told to stop making payments on my credit cards and they would handle the rest. Today I was served a court summons because Im being sued by 2 of my credit cards. I called beyond finance immediately and was told to send them a copy of my summons. I asked if I would have to respond to the summons and show up in court and beyond finances response was that yes I would have to submit my own response to the summons and get my own attorney to handle the summons but they would try to reach out to the companys to get a settlement reached. I signed up with them because they told me they would handle all of this now Im expected to handle it all myself. I want them to fully refund me and admit their wrong doing. My credit is completely ruined because of this.

      I signed up for their debt management plan. It's been over 4 months, and they haven't even contacted most of my creditors. I had a sheriff show up at my house due to unpaid debt reported by one company that was not contacted by Beyond Finance. I also keep receiving emails asking me to pay more money than agreed upon in order to "speed up the process". I absolutely should've used a different company and I'm so regretful for utilizing this company.

      Review confirmed that proper expectations for how the program is designed were set during your enrollment experience.  While we estimated that you should receive your first offer within three to six months from enrollment, the program is designed to care for all of your debt and the related fees throughout the lifetime of the program term.

      I am rejecting this response because: you have not addressed my concern regarding consistently being asked to pay more than agreed upon so you can "speed up the process". Honestly, that is so misleading and I feel preyed upon. I agreed to this program because I have a finite amount of funds. Being asked to give you more money to essentially do your job feels very predatory.

      This business took advantage of my being in a vulnerable situation. They lied and pressured me to sign up with them telling me I could discontinue with them at any time without penalty. This wasn't true. They charge as much as the debt you are resolving. They lie and say your credit won't be ruined. They lie and say accounts not in the program won't be affected. I've had accounts closed due to them that I've been paying on without them. They told me to ignore my creditors. They put things in the small print to scam the vulnerable person that is trying to get out of debt. Every time I contacted them, they didn't do what was in my best interest they were doing what was in their best interest. Before I had an account charged off, I called them and they had me upload the information. Knowing I could have resolved it myself, but they wanted their cut. They scammed me. They told me they work with certain creditors that do not work with them. They lie every time you speak to them. Now I'm in a worse position.

      I am rejecting this response because: they are lying flat out. They have recorded calls. I called in twice to cancel the program and they would still be paid 25% of my total balance. The last attempt I made to cancel was before the last account payment was made on July 31st. They could have unenrolled that account but didn't give me that option. They didn't even offer anything in the middle or anything which should show my point of their scamming. Please have them submit the recorded phone calls that will prove. I also spoke to someone who was supposed to call me back last week and didn't.

      I had been in communication with a few nice people last week. My issue was supposed to be in the process of being resolved but I haven't heard anything or gotten any proof. I may have been tricked to close this case. Please don't believe the lie they responded with. I have removed 2 accounts from them and haven't accepted a recent resolution because of this issue. I haven't completely unenrolled due to penalties and monies of mine they are holding. Please do not believe them. I attempted to attach a file, but it wouldn't. I can email it.

      On June 30th, 2025 two payments to Beyond Finance posted to my account in the sum of $12,678.08. The 5k in the Beyond account align with the $12,678.08 equated to the total remaining settlement amount to be paid to final creditor.Even though the full payment of $12,678.08 had already cleared my account and would have been added to the Beyond account with the existing 5k, Beyond still charged the bi-weekly fee of $****** on July 7th and the $****** bi-weekly fee posted to my account on June ********** to July 7th, my husband saw that this bi-weekly charge of $****** was scheduled to come out of the tied bank account. He reached out to Beyond Finance and was initially informed by the representative to not worry about the charge as it would not ultimately be withdrawn from the account. After the charge did hit the account, he called back and was given conflicting information from that of his first call. He was told that it was expected for the funds to come out and that they would be refunded back to the linked bank account after the final creditor has accepted the over-the-phone payment of the combined 12k we paid on June 30th plus the 5k on the Beyond ********** of July 15th, the over-the-phone payment of 12k plus 5k (which is supposed to take 3-5 business days) still has not processed and we are no closer to getting the ****** refund for charges on July 7th. Additionally, there is roughly $824 remaining in the Beyond account which we were told could be refunded in 3-5 business days to temporarily off-set the ****** charge. We have opted to wait till the creditor has accepted and process their settlement amount, but now I worry about any "hidden" fees that Beyond might surprise us with after the final settlement is paid off. Informed today that Beyond is unsure why the settlement payment is taking so long to process. Worried we will be charged again next month for something that should have been paid off and closed by now.I want back the $824 and $******
