      Originally, we were planning to refinance with our longtime bank, Regions. After speaking with the agent, we sensed that we were being pushed toward a Conventional loan instead of a VA loan. My husband is a disabled veteran with 100% disability. We were very interested in exploring our options. My husband did an internet search and connected with ***** ********. Jalen was welcoming and, most importantly, knowledgeable. He explained all of our options, especially the benefits available for veterans. He shared information we didn't know. He stayed in touch with us throughout the process. He made us feel that he cared about our welfare and wanted us to get the best loan tailored to our needs. I highly recommend First Federal Savings Bank. Jalen should be a national trainer for bank employees on customer service.

      A representative named ******* conned me into a refinance loan. He promised that I would receive my original interest rate of 2.25 once the 6 month seasoning period completed. This was categorically false and it was market value. Because of this I now have 5.25 interest rate which equates to hundreds of thousands of dollars I will have to pay over the loan. I was told verbally and still have the text chain from him promising this when clearly he knew this was false. At one point in the process I was unable to reach him for a month. During our interactions he had 4 different phone numbers and became very hard to track down. Even after all this I still get calls regularly (3-4 a month) from someone else at the company trying to get me to refinance. Ive talked to 15 or so different people from the company. When I explain what happened they either hang up on me or listen, pretend to care and say they will get back to me. Has ent happened yet. I am a disabled veteran with a wife and 3 kids trying to provide for my family. This scam has raised my mortgage by 1000 dollars a month and has made it extreamly hard to cover my monthly bills. Please anyone thinking about using this company heed my warning. They will lie to you and tell you whatever you need to hear to process the loan.

      Awful experience. Communication is awful, they denied my loan with absolutely no warning after my broker left the company. No one communicated about him leaving and i was left hanging in the process until I received an email that said loan denied. Asked for a refund on my assessment and was denied Be careful with this company

      The banks construction loan program advertises that up to 10% of the loan is available at closing. However, we received no guidance on how to access those funds, and we didnt have our first onboarding meeting until two weeks after closing. We were never proactively offered the 10%, and I had to press the issue a full month later just to get answers. In our initial onboarding meeting, the bank laid out very strict rules: only one draw request every 30 days, work had to be fully completed and inspected before funds would be released, and everything had to align with the original draw schedule. But since then, all of those rules seem to change week to week. Some are suddenly flexible, others are enforced inconsistently, and my builder and I are left constantly confused. my builder, who has worked with many lenders over the years, said this is the most difficult bank theyve ever dealt with.Emails often go unanswered for several business days. I had to escalate my concerns to management, which resulted in a formal meeting with both my loan analyst and her supervisor, Despite that, nothing has changed. Draw requests routinely sit unreviewed for two or more business days, with no acknowledgment or timeline for when we can expect funding. That kind of delay is unacceptable in the middle of an active construction project.I requested a new loan analyst. That request was completely ignored. It was never acknowledged, never addressed, and was ultimately dismissed without any follow-up or explanation. I cannot in good faith recommend this bank to anyone building a home.

      federal savings representative who called me about a month ago, was not only professional, but also very convincing, knowledgeable about his job, but what caught my attention was the fact that he invited me to verify himself on their website. After receiving hundreds of calls a day regarding my request for a consolidation, what convinced me to continue to listen to Mr. Diab, the fact that he mentioned that he has a program that will help Veterans organize their budget and strengthen their financial status & put back savings in their lives. I explained to him about my current situation with the need for a consolidation of $83,000 in Credit Card & Loan debts, but I did not want to lose my 2.5% that I had for my mortgage. He told me that he would review my situation and give me several options for me to choose from. He did everything that he said he would do to help us. He did it in a timely manner. He worked above and beyond hours assigned to him, he kept communication by email, voicemail, and text. He gave us easy and clear scenarios in writing for us to review and addressed our concerns when we ask for changes. The team who worked with him very professional, very helpful, & offered solutions to help us receive our checks in the mail and our closing funds back to client within a month or so
      We were frustrated with our financial status because my credit score was reducing monthly, and we had no funds available for emergencies. Daniel put back savings into our account which allowed me to open up a ROTH account with thousand dollars a month contribution from our savings from the consolidation, And I paid off many of my credit cards, and was able to have extra funds for Surgery that I needed. Daniel did not lead me on, he didn’t give me broken promises.
      I m happy with 6% and an affordable mortgage.
      I am amazed that he made the impossible possible (knowing my low Credit score). Thank you so much for being a kind person in these difficult times.

      This agent is from near ****** *******, every thing was ok until our va appraisal, the agent supposedly va certified, did not finish appraisal beacause claimed our kitchen was in the wrong location, and had to be moved to the first floor, kitchen could not be in the basement; this residence was built in 1951 but did nit meet va standards. No appraisal but still kept the appraisal fee. Talked to agent. Said that money would be refunded, nothing yet.
