1 starIf you are considering opening an account with Ulta, ------- DON'T. -------READ THIS FIRST. This is quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. In the 2 years I've had an account with them, I've had to call 4 times to have them reverse late fees that were THEIR mistake, and each one has been counted as a courtesy reversal on me! I've spent HOURS on the phone trying to get them to reverse the late fees they've charged me incorrectly and it's finally reached a point where they don't want to reverse them anymore. My payment's are due on the 17th, but! even though my payments are made on time, the next time I log in to my account, boom -late fee. It feels terrible being a customer who religiously pays my account on time AND in full! They are incredibly untrustworthy. It's reached the point where I've had to start taking photo documentation after making my payments on time so that when I get that late fee that I just KNOW that they're gonna charge me, at least this way I have proof. Even then, with the photo documentation, they are unable to reverse the fee's. And of course, closing an account like this will most assuredly hurt your credit. I feel backed into a corner by this company.ULTA Beauty

1 starI placed an order for almost $200 today. Then 20 minutes I tried to cancel the order. I couldn't do it online so I called customer service within 25 minutes of having placed the order. The rep claimed that it couldn't be canceled and tried a couple of different ways and was unsuccessful. I asked to speak to a supervisor and literally ended up being on the phone with the rep and unable to get to a supervisor. WHAT KIND OF C*** IS THIS???? I will NEVER SHOP AT ULTA AGAIN?!?!ULTA Beauty

As we begin processing orders immediately, our ***** Services teams are not always able to guarantee an order cancellation. Please know that we are unable to modify orders in any way once they are placed for the privacy and security of our guests. This order will be delivered to the address that was confirmed at checkout. If the delivery is refused or cannot be delivered due to inaccuracies provided, then it will be returned to our warehouse and you will be refunded within 30 days after processing. If not, you will need to reorder. Additionally, we apologize that you were not able to speak to a supervisor. Due to the holidays, we are experiencing a higher than normal contact volume, so our supervisors are not always available to speak immediately. 1 starTwice I have had issues with this store. Last year they refused to sale me a product because I didn't want to give them my phone number. I asked for the manager and she said they could do the sale but corporate didn't like them not getting a phone number. Today I was told I COULD NOT return my product if I didn't give them my phone number. I said even if I have the receipt and they said NO. I think this is Illegal.ULTA Beauty

1 starI have shopped at Ulta for many years and although their prices arent the best, they have nice deals every so often. I have shopped in the store as well as online. Their app and online site really need to have the ease of being able to cancel an order after its placed in the event that something was forgotten or a coupon did not go through. This really makes me feel that they are just out to steal money from people. I called to have my order canceled and they tell me the phone number doesnt match. The same number Ive been using in the store for over 5 years. It doesnt make any sense. So youre telling me every person in the store has been lying to me accepting my number that is apparently wrong?? You guys owe me back a lot of rewards points and money then because this is messed up on your clerks part-not just one-EVERY SINGLE ONE over that past years. It isnt fair for me to be able to place multiple orders and give you money without having to verify my phone number but as soon as I want to cancel it, I have to do so with a phone number that I possibly havent had in 10 years??? What kind of sense does that make? Why have your reps been accepting the number I currently have on file with your credit card and app??? How is that even possible? When I went to the bank and gave them my phone number that changed the first question they asked was did you recently change your number? Ok, lets verify the other information we have on file so we can get that updated. That is good security and customer service. Your security is all the way the wrong way. 1 starTo who it may concern: DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER!!I was recently at a ************** store Ulta unfortunately, did not have the item at the store. After chasing this item down the girl was nice to order for me and have item shipped. Time goes by, absolutely no notification about this package being shipped. The Ulta website kept stating it was still in process. After having to call approx 12 people to get help and ringing corporate to get answers. They said it was delivered 2 days ago? To whom I have no idea.. Definitely not a cheap gift. All they said it was delivered. And again not sure to what area or to whom. No refund back to card just plan ***.. this was not a small item. Corporate sent said they checked and shipped? Not even a phone call to help resolve. Lucky for me having a husband to know people this will be taken care of.. this is just the first step RUN AWAY FOLKS!!! Better CS in many other stores will want your business. 1 starI went to the Ulta website on Wednesday, Oct 19 and was hoping to get an item for a wedding on Friday. The website offered Premium shipping for $19.95. When I selected this option the website said Get it by Thursday, Oct 20. I hate paying for shipping, but this gift was perfect for my friend, so I was willing to pay the extra money to get it in time. After I placed the order, I received a confirmation email that informed me your order should arrive within 3 to 8 business days. When I checked their website shipping policy, it stated that premium shipping meant deliver within 2 to 3 business days, and I also read that Ulta doesnt let you cancel an order once submitted. I still kept hope that the order would make it in time because surely this company has the integrity to state a realistic date when you decide to spend an extra $20 on a $20 purchase. I did not receive the order Thursday. Friday came with a shipment notification from Ulta and a tracking number - my package was received Thursday night at a location 20 minutes from me. Unfortunately, the weekend passed with no order received. It did not arrive until Wednesday, a week after I placed the order and days after I had reached out to both customer service at ********************** and the shipping company. I received the money back for the shipping, but Im very disappointed by the deception of Ultas website. I understand shipping is not guaranteed, but they should not have claimed Get it by Thursday with no intention of meeting this claim. Be better Ulta.ULTA Beauty

1 starDo not open their credit card. They will harass you by calling, texting, and sending emails within minutes of each other. I paid the credit card off, and apparently because it was 1 day late I got hit with a late charge. When I called they let me know that even if you are 1 second past 5 EST time you will be charged with a late fee. This has not been the first time they screwed me. I have paid off the balance before, and then they let me know that I still owed money. When I asked how they said oh the information was not correct on the statement. So I had to pay more money to them. They are huge scammers when it comes to the credit card. PLUS they are breaking laws by harassing me by texting, calling and emailing me back to back. I am BEYOND disgusted and hope that I am saving someone from the lies and harassment you will receive.ULTA Beauty

1 starI was at your store at *****************, ******* ** at 4:39pm on October 11th 2022. At check out I was asked for my phone number and email. I told them I don't want a membership since I don't come to the store often. The lady started asking random customers for their number so they can get free points on my purchase. I kept waiting while she kept trying to get their number. She put some random person's number on my receipt. Then I was told that I will not be able to make a return without a phone number or email despite having a physical receipt!! My experience was horrendous and I felt humiliated. Ulta is more dedicated to capturing data with email and phone numbers than caring for their customers. It is my last visit.ULTA Beauty

1 starIf I could give it less then one star I would have. Briefly, I purchased a gift for $195.40, with in minutes of leaving the store I was alerted by my credit card of strange activity. I discovered three charges for the same purchase.I have been in contact by phone, in person several times, NO ONE knows what to do to correct this. The following day I returned the item, still the two charges are pending, the third cleared.More attempts to correct the problem fell on deaf ears, as of this writing it has not been corrected.I will never ever shop at this store again.ULTA Beauty
