      *************** location. Management all of the ones who run this store so unprofessional. So many complaints with HR and nothing has been done. They will follow employees around talk in front of customers about confidentiality situations. So many missed treated employees at this location. HR do better. Look into all of your management/leads who run this place. Employees have proof and have made many complaints with HR.

      Hello, I work in the same mall as Ulta In ** Mall. As a daily visitor of the mall and a regular shopper at Ulta beauty, I have dealt with shoddy service for some time now. Just the other day I was buying something, and the sales woman rang up a white lady during my turn as if I didn't matter. Another time I went, I asked a lady could I go ahead of her because I was standing in the line between her and her 4 friends talking over my head. The Ulta sales woman just saw me change places and come to her line, then she made me wait until she rang the other lady to insult me. I was shopping in Ulta today and I asked one of the managers if they had any specific skincare with tea tree. Reluctantly she pointed me to a tee tree mask and walked away. She asked me no question. I went to her after nothing I asked her for was there, and asked her again for an eye cream, cleanser,toner or moisturizer with tea tree oil. She said I don't know. I said is there anyone here that would know? Then she said she will check online. I said not your website, your checking online. She said no, ******. That's when her attitude was too disrespectful for me not to chime back. The manager that I know started demanding that I leave instead of hearing me out because she said I pointed at the girl. I disputed, then the manager banned me from the bathroom. Which is probably what she wanted all along. I think that's why the Ulta employees have been giving me the eye. because I use their public restroom. I actually help keep it clean.

      I purchased the birthday gift they had on my account and neglected to add it to the cart correctly so I was charged for it. Ok my mistake, I understand. I immediately chatted with **************** and they said the credit as an accomodation and will need to be issued after shipping. I emailing customer service and the email conversation took ten rounds of back and forth providing information to them without success and my asking to escalate to a manager. They wanted my phone number which I already provided and I was done. I cancelled my account and am done with Ulta. Offers have been worsening and points do not get you what you used to. I haven't encountered such awful customer service in a long time. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere.

      On Saturday, June 28, 2025, I had an appointment with ******, an "Elite Stylist" at the Ulta Beauty on ************** in ********, **. I specifically requested a shoulder-length cut with face-framing layers. My hair was long, reaching below my shoulder blades, when I arrived. Unfortunately, the result was far from what I asked for. My hair was cut much shorter than shoulder length, and instead of just face-framing layers, I ended up with short, layered pieces all over my head, resembling a **** cut.Throughout the service, ****** didn't check in with me about the progress or show me the cut until it was fully dried and styled. Even another Ulta employee commented negatively on the cut at the register, to which ****** responded dismissively.I appreciate that the salon manager at the store gave me a full refund for the service. However, Ulta needs to look into the quality of service provided by this stylist. This isn't a small mistake. She didn't listen to me and gave me a dramatically different haircut that should never have happened without a discussion first.

      I am a platinum customer and I do most of my shopping with Ulta online. However, each time I've walked into this store --either by myself or with my teenage daughter, a ************ police officer has shown up to patrol and shop the specific aisle on which I'm shopping. After my daughter and I were done shopping and went to the register, the officer was there at the front of the store with one of the male workers having some fake conversation as if they were guarding the door. Corporate Ulta: if you're having inventory loss problems at this store, as an employment lawyer, the advice I give my clients is that the loss is very likely happening from the inside. And also, since people who steal tend to do so in their own backyard, your workers are looking at the wrong customers. The manager and/or other workers at this store are engaging in racial harassment and are exposing this business to litigation based on this racial harassment.

      Worst customer service I have ever experienced.I live in an apartment with secure lock boxes for packages. The apartment is locked, but has doorbells for corresponding apartments right outside the door in case someone can't get in. This is important context. I saved up for an expensive perfume that was available online for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. She mentioned she wanted it months ago, but with some personal things going on, our budget has been stretched thin (I've had a lot of recent medical bills). I got an email saying it was shipped, but no estimated delivery date was available when I went to track it. This was on a Thursday. On the following Monday, I log in to see it had been delivered Saturday. I received no email stating this. I went and checked the lockboxes and it was not there. I looked outside and it was not there. I looked by my apartment door and it was not there. I even checked the back door near the alleyway just in case. I called and they said to wait 24 more hours and if it doesn't turn up to call again. I called again (it's now Tuesday) and they said they would investigate. On Friday I receive an email saying the carrier claims it was delivered, so there is nothing they can do. I was home all day on delivery day, no doorbell rang, no knock, no email... how was I supposed to know? I believe it was left outside and stolen. They are refusing to refund me, and now I have no gift for my partner as again, I already had to save for this. I am so upset, because I didn't think it wasn't delivered, it just wasn't delivered properly to prevent theft and that is not my fault. Even if they had just buzzed the apartment, I would have gotten it from them if they couldn't get in to use the lock box. There is no empathy besides scripted "Oh I know it is frustrating to not receive a package" and to make me wait an entire week to tell me what I already know is ridiculous. I want the money back to get her something else, but now I have nothing.

      Always a great experience but yesterday was exceptional. ****** at the ************************* AR location took a great deal of her very busy time to help me choose the best makeups for my aging skin. I felt phenomenal when I left.

      I went to the Ulta in ******, about to purchase items for $60. I was asked to enter my phone number. I told the cashier I dont have an acct and I didnt want to give my personal info. I was told there is no **** button and that I could provide an email. I again reiterated that I didnt want to provide my contact info for a simple transaction. Was then told, rather rudely, it was required to protect the company. Ok. Im interested in protecting my privacy - so I left the items and the store. I have shopped at other Ultas and there is always this annoying insistence and assertion that I cant return anything without providing personal information. As I dont return cosmetics, I just nod and pay. But saying you wont or cant complete a transaction without it is a flat out lie and if not illegal, is super dodgy. Clearly theres another motive there. Ill be shopping ******* from here on out.

      Bought a clear NYX lip gloss online, only to find that a used item was shipped to me! Yes, the wand had a brownish-mauve lipstick stuck to it that could be through the clear container AND the seal was broken. Absolute top-notch quality control, as you can imagine, prior to my item getting shipped out. To make matters worse, I then had to return it to the store to get a new one which defeated the purpose of ordering it online. But once I got to the store, the very rude manager sent me in the general direction of where I can find the item in the store. No help whatsoever. Im done with Ulta.
