The national average cost to unclog a main sewer line in 2025 ranges between $200 and $650, with most people paying around $475 to clean a mid-size clog by hydrojetting the main sewer pipe between a house and municipal main line.Across the nation, hiring a professional plumber, the average amount you can expect to spend is approximately $250. If the clog is minor, plumbers may charge as little as $100. If the clog is substantially more complex, this could increase your cost by upward of $400. The average range cost to unclog a sewer line is $200-$600, low-end $150 for high-duty professional sewer cleaning with a snake, whereas the high is $1,000 for hydrojetting the main sewer line to resolve a full blockage. On 4/9/2025, two service technicians performed a service to unblock a blockage using a snake to clear the line. The service took the technician roughly *************************************************************** my estimation, the average out-of-pocket charge should be no more than $289. This was a straightforward drain cleaning costing no more than $55.This was a simple clog that was cleared with a drain snake. It should have cost me around $100-$250, the service personnel did not have to use hydrojetting, as this was not a stubborn clog, just some tree roots were found. However, if hydro needed to be used, my out-of-pocket cost should only be between $350 and $600,I contend that those technicians took advantage of my lack of knowledge about this simple process, charging me an absorbent whopping $895 plus $200 just to unclog the drain. I have reviewed the contract and the work performed, plus the agreed-upon price, which does not merit the scope of work done. I believe the charge is excessive, I have concerns, and I seek a resolution to a lower price and a partial refund. I hope Wally Blanton **** and I can resolve this issue without seeking mediation or other dispute resolution services. 0 stars for this company.

I hired the contractor on 5-28-2024. To replace a sewer lateral pipe as ordered by the village. The salesman name was ****** and I gave a down payment of almost ******* in a check to get the work scheduled. Besides replacing the pipe they agreed to do the landscaping after the inspection to get it back to the original condition. Job was to be completed in 2 days . A crew of 2 men came the next day to dig the hole . The 2men didnt speak English and my Spanish is bad . The 2 men dug. The hole in the wrong spot. Inspector ******************* came and said the hole was in the wrong spot . His phone number is ************ . The 2 workmen removed a sewer pipe from the hole so I was told not to let any water / waste go down the drain because it was not attached to the sewer anymore. The owner is the plumbing company came out and yes the hole was in the wrong spot. So the next day they dug a hole in a different spot to fix the problem. But they didnt reattach the sewer pipe from the first hole . So for over 5days I could not let anything go down the drain. The plumbing owner kept changing the story and wouldnt do any landscaping. Then he demanded payment for the work which was not completed. He threatened to not submit the insurance forms until I paid him ******** more . So he basically was holding my paperwork as hostage and threatened to come out and dig the pipe back up if I dont pay . But the work was not finished and I refused to pay anything until it was done and ok with the inspector. The police came and tried to fix the situation but the owner insisted on getting paid. The inspector came out and said that the project was not certified as done. Then when the police and plumber left I started getting phone calls ( no caller identification) saying I better be careful and threatening me . 23 calls total from this person but I only answered one . I did call the police and filed a complaint but they couldnt do anything about

04/01/2024 I paid $1750.00 to Wally Blanton Plumbing & Sewer *** to Replace 20 ' of galvanized kitchen drain line. Cut out galvanized going to basement and replace with sch 40 PVC. Cut behind kitchen sink cabinets. Was charged $1750 for this work to be done. But this company only Cut behind the kitchen sink. They did not replace the galvanized pipes going to the basement as stated on the invoice. I called ****** the same day to ask for a revised invoice for the work that was performed for the cutting of the pipe under the sink and how much the charge should be. ****** told me to call the next day 4/2/24 at 11am and she will send it. I received services from this vendor during the last week of December 2023. My sewer backed up into my basement, and these folks were the plumbers I could find who were available over the holiday week to come and assess and work on the problem, which ended in a nearly complete sewer line replacement. The work they did was excellent, but they were not clear about what the ultimate charges would be and I ended up being surprised by a bill for $11,700 instead of the $8,700 I was quoted verbally. I paid the $11,700 in full by credit card, and then left a ****** review stating that the work was great but they weren't clear about the charges. While I was talking about the matter on the phone on January 3, **** with Wally Blanton, the owner, he became very heated and swore at me. Following this conversation, he texted me (please see below) and stated regarding my ****** review, "What goes around comes around." I submitted a claim to my homeowners insurance, and the adjuster reached out to Mr. ********************** to confirm the cause of the damage because it was not clearly stated on the invoice. Mr. ********************** sent me additional text messages (see below) after receiving a call from them insinuating that he would not cooperate with my insurance company. Since then, my adjuster has reached out at least four times to Mr. ********************** to get the information needed to process my claim and Mr. ********************** has not called them back. By not cooperating with the insurance investigation Mr. ********************** is clearly acting in retaliation for my honest review of my experience with his business, a violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Before pursuing legal avenues, however, I want to give this gentleman a chance to make things right and talk to my insurance company so that my claim can be processed. My bill is paid in full, and I am not asking for any adjustments to it; all I need is for him to respond to my insurance company and give them the info they are asking for.

They did $400 worth of plumbing work inside my home and I prepaid them $600 to do camera work to see if the pipes were bursted. The owner of my place said no the pipes were not bursted. I told this plumber that I didn&#**;t need this service and would like a refund. I have not heard from them.I would like my $600 refunded to me.

On November 17, 2022 I called Wally Blanton company because there was a gas smell near my clothes dryer, the worker told me that he had to change the gas line to the dryer, he charged me $422 dollars. It's a large amount but I was very afraid because of the smell of gas inside my house. So I paid him for the job in the amount of $422. This amount is the salary that I earn in a week, the two workers finished the job in more or less 35 minutes. It's a lot of effort for me to pay for this. The smell of gas was still in the same place. The point is that I paid this amount so that the gas leak would disappear and it did not. I did not want to worry that something would happen to me or my family during the night because of the smell of gas. After I had to call *********, they told me there was a leaking at the appliance connector at dryer. It is not fair that they charged me for something that was not necessary (change the gas line of the dryer), they should not change the entire gas line, they should have checked the dryer, because the dryer had a gas leak.I have spoken with this company and I have asked them to return the amount of $422 to me since they did not eliminate the gas leak. They answered me at first but then they no longer answered me. I have the ********* report that I can show them.More about this source textSource text required for additional translation information Send feedback Side panels
