  Very responsive when my home was damaged to get my garage boarded up and restoration crew out. Communicated well with my insurance to get everything sorted. Once that was done the crew that worked on the house was quick, communicated well and left our home looking great. *** was my Pm and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done by the holidays. **** always recommend *** and Romexterra!

  This is a review for ***********************. I would give him a 5 star.. It was a pleasure to work with ***. He was very compassionate when my home insurance only allowed a certain amount of money to fix my house. *** put in extra effort to re-do the claim details and fix only what I needed to have it done in a timely manner.

  Hello,I originally hired Romexterra when a bad storm hit my home and destroyed four rooms in my house. I thought they were efficient and friendly. I contacted hired them again when we had a pipe burst and flooded the first floor. During this time I received all my belongings back from where Romexterra kept them in store while my house was being repaired. There were so many things that were broken, wet and had mold all over them. I wish I would have know sooner. The second experience has been terrible. The insurance company denied $3,000 worth of items, but they continue to bill me for and put a lien on my property. They continue to bill me and put a lien on my property. They also wanted me to originally meet them with a post dated check. That makes me think they are struggling financially. Their collections person constantly harass me constantly.

  This is a serious misrepresentation.

  You have utilized ** multiple times and you never once complained until we requested you pay your invoice. The invoice is 10 months old and you were advised many times that a lien was coming. You alleged that a check which was intended to pay us was lost and we certainly understood, mail is not what it used to be. We waited patiently and contacted your carrier regularly. You waited 2 months before contacting the carrier to reissue the check. Your insurance informed us that they wanted to reissue but couldn't because you wouldn't return their calls to verify anything. We went back and forth multiple times  until nearly a month passed before you returned the State Farm Adjuster's call. You even sent me a State Farm email that was more than 2 weeks old that you never responded to. We also discovered after you called State Farm liars, that you were not emailing to the claim correctly, so I assisted you in getting those emails to the claim.  You emailed me several times saying  the check had been reissued and you told me if you paid us you couldn't pay your other contractors. I explained that you should check to see who the funds are for and YOU stated in an email that the check was for us  but that you needed to pay the other contractors too. I did tell you the other contractors were not my concern  and that I was trying to stop collection actions on the property. You also stated you sold your condo and were moving and would turn over the *** business to someone else. When I asked for that contact info you stated something totally different, that you would stay on until this matter was done. The *** insurance didn't deny **** they are reviewing, we asked you repeatedly to share the info so we could help you get paid accurately and more quickly which you didn't do. When the check arrived, you said you needed to pass this thru the *** account as it isn't your property but a condo building and the *** insurance. I understood this  completely. You delayed a few days before depositing and yes with end of month, end of quarter and additional late fees coming, I did suggest you issue a post dated check that we would hold off depositing, but it  would bring the account current and stop further collection action. One of my emails you never responded to and you finally responded when the collections team liened the *** building. You became very upset which I understood, but you cancelled the appointment for us to pick up the post dated check  and stated you would pay online when the funds cleared. I accepted that and then you wrote this review which is a complete misrepresentation of the facts.  All we want is for this to be resolved and paid.

  Had some water damage on the ceiling in my kitchen and living room right as we were planning on moving. The mitigation and restoration teams did everything in their power to expedite the process during all phases and the entire job was done in a very timely manner The root issue was fixed and everything looked just as it did before once the rebuild was complete. Everything was done with the utmost professionalism and they were able to work around our tight schedule. Would highly recommend!

  I had water damage from broken ice maker pump. The Romexterra team lead by *********************** did a great job at mitigating and rebuilding the damaged areas of my home. They exceeded their timelines and worked efficiently with my insurance company to make a difficult situation run as smoothly as possible. I would recommend Romexterra to friends and family.

  A big thank you to Romexterra Construction Inc. They came out within hours of me calling them for water damage in my basement when my sump pump failed during a storm. The project manager was very nice and walked me through everything that had to be done to prevent mold in my basement. The team worked extensively for two days, starting the day the damage happened to clean up my basement. Thank you Team, *****************************

  We had a house fire in March of 2020 in which we hired them to do the clean out, replace damaged roof framing and the roof itself. Less then 2 years later, we experienced leaking from the faulty workmanship in our living room. After the initial contact, they did come out to inspect and told us that there was no silicone placed over the nail heads used to attach the shingles in the area. We had thought this issue was taken care of until several months later when the roof leaked again - this time destroying our brand new living room wall and portions of the ceiling in both the living room and kitchen. They did come out to look at the area again and was surprised that there was no follow up. It was at this time they brought rental equipment out - we were told it would be removed within 2 weeks. Immediately after, we received a call from **** who told us that we did not pay for this area of roofing, there were already shingles in that area and there was faulty framework. We pulled our original contract with the company and photos of the roof prior to the work, we paid for an entire roof and the framing. Reviewing the photos, there were no shingles in the area prior to the fire. We had to file a police report 2 months later to get the equipment out of our home. Our village denied the permit for the roof. The company is not licensed for roofing. They still did the work. These shingles were installed on a flat area of roof that is designed to allow the water to flow down and off the roof. Instead, the rain pools around these incorrectly installed shingles creating extensive damage to our home. Now after several months, and over $40k later - we have not heard from the company. They refuse to remove the shingles and fix the damage - including now the additional holes in two ceiling areas from the equipment they installed in our home. We have had an independent contractor come out to inspect - framing is correct, the installation of the shingles is faulty work.
