Sept 29 2023 work started. Roof was subcontracted as some other roof company showed up. They installed 2 row of different color material and didnt had some tools looking into my garage they ask for drill bits and propane tank from my bbq grill. I talk to company contact ******* and he said this is wrong and I will be there they disregarded him and kept on installing wrong color roof. October 31st 2023 they showed up unannounced no one called one guy went up the roof without consent other at the door knocking when no one showed up he forced the garage door up and broke the rail of the garage door opener to get roof left over material. I wasnt home and my wife panic and call me if I scheduled this. They replaced the different color rolls on roof but kind of work they did manager of company agree is bad quality they use regular nails where stainless steel need to be place and put silicone over it. Flashing was dont poorly there is a ***** in the garage which they came 2 times to look at and dry out the roof from below. Its April 2024 and 4 times promises made to redo roof and nothing is done. The company has schedule 2 times and failed to show up or even bother to follow up. We have other things to do beside taking care of roof for past 6 months. Weather was an excuse for the longest time what went wrong now. People I work with in initial state are not in contact or left company. Just want complete refund and want to avoid this hassle dealing with unfair customer service.Business response

The issue is the outside west wall siding that has been warping outward since May. They "finished" that siding this past January. I sent Supervisor, *** a text 5-21-21, showing him a warped shingle. We received no answer. I sent a follow-up text with picture of the warped Siding on ****. Still we received no answer. NOTE: This same section had warped outward in December (15th) and I sent pictures then. *** did get that one repair done.June 9th, I called my nephew, ***********************************, who works there, & asked him to look into this. I was told by ***************** last year to deal with the office people. He told me that Vinny's job is sales only.Vinny got ******* to come to out **** but he could not fix the siding. (He did fix the bad shingle). ******* said he needed a siding pro for the repair & would return.He did not. We have been ignored since, leaving 4 messages with ******* for *****, ****, 15, 16, and 8-12.They have been paid, & we deserve good siding.Business response

************* has some issues with his siding. He was reaching out to **** who is no longer the GM at Romexterra and never called the office. He finally called the office and we resolved his situation within 5 days. I spoke with him on Saturday after the warrantied repair was complete. He was very happy and now realizes he should have called the office to begin with. All of our labor is warrantied for 2 years and often we honor warranty even after the 2 years passes. I am rejecting this response because: ***** **** and ******************************* (in their warranty group) told me that the roof is guaranteed by them for 5 years. Otherwise, I agree with the repair being done, and thanked *****.

No where in any of our Paperwork or Website do we say 5 years. His adjuster may have told him if he went with a preferred insurance vendor they would warranty for 5 years. Romexterra will stand behind our work for 2 years and manufacturer's warranty applies to materialsCustomer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is NEWS to me. I was never given any paperwork with regard to the warranty as Vinny promised that I would get that but it did not happen. I will accept the answer that they have a printed 2-year warranty, but Verbally I as told 5.
