Basement apartment has been flooding each time it rains even a little, water was seeping through cracks in foundation and under walls onto basement floor. I called and complained many times over a couple years and the foundation was eventually sealed. Well it only took one rain storm latter the reseal and it started leaking very bad and flooded three rooms with around 2inches of water. One week before this I noticed the resealed concrete had a crack so I put in a maintenance request and it was completely ignored.

The businesses third party company helped with paying rent misfunctioned and even though they agreed with me that it malfunctioned they still made me pay late fees even when I told them it wasn't my fault. Their treatment of me was cold and clearly unethical.

I responded to a ******** ad posted on December 15th by a private seller for an apartment. I responded to ad and spoke with the girl who told me I would need to apply at Real Property in person. I went to Real Properties location where they took my application (and a $50 cash non-refundable application fee) I asked why I could not find this listing anywhere on their website or anywhere other than ******** and a woman named ****** verified to me that it was for in-person applications only? I placed my in-person application and received a text a couple minutes after leaving the building that they had rented out the unit? The whole thing just didnt sit right with me. Not necessarily due to the money but it all just seemed a little off and illegitimate to me. I feel they gave me false information and took my application/money knowing full well they had already chosen a renter/applicant. It just seemed a little shady/dishonest considering I asked and clarified they did not have any other applicants or had chosen a renter. I know in a way its the name of the game, I just want to ensure this company is not scamming people for extra cash.

My family moved into ****************************************************************** at the beginning of December 2017. When we moved in there was already mildew in the walls and bathrooms and the carpets hadn't been cleaned. The repairmen were aware of leaking problems (but neglected to explain it to us) of the master bathroom through the ceiling downstairs and kept redoing the caulking instead of sealing the floor properly. There were already shower curtain rods in both bathrooms. We originally started renting there under Brokerage Property Management. The owner loved us as tenants and always beamed about how well we took care of the place, so they kept our rent as low as they could to show their appreciation. Within a short time of our stay there, Brokerage Property Management decided to stop managing rentals and our building was taken over by Real Property Management. While we were there, the Real Property Management repairman (****) bought a can of paint for us, which he used on the walls himself and told us matched the walls and that we should use it when we were getting ready to move out - which we did. Now Real Property Management is trying to charge us for "having to repaint everything" even though we did it exactly the way the repairman showed us as well as for "removing the shower curtain rods and the damage the repairmen made from doing so." The ONLY thing we should have had to pay for is carpet cleaning as the apartment was cleaner and in better repair (minus the roof leak and a couple of pre-existing problems they said they'd wait to address until we moved out that so far they aren't charging us additionally for) than when we moved in. Our deposit was $900.00 & the carpet cleaning was $258.70. We should be getting a refund check for $641.30 - NOT being charged nearly twice our deposit of $1,728.56! The apartment we moved into when they decided not to renew our lease is also managed by them, so we are concerned about retaliation on their part against us over this.
