Regarding the deposit and leasing process, our policy requires a holding fee once an application is approved to secure the property exclusively for the applicant. This is a common practice in property management, ensuring that we do not continue to market or offer the property to other potential renters. This fee is only forfeited if the applicants decide to cancel after committing to the property. We aim to communicate this clearly and promptly through all stages of the application process.
As for the delay in providing the lease, we apologize; however, it's crucial to note that the template provided aligns with standard Idaho rental laws and is designed to protect both the tenant and the property owner fairly.
Concerning the claims about our pet policy, I want to assure you that there is absolutely no policy or clause that would allow us or any partner, like OurPetPolicy, to remove pets unlawfully from a tenant's home. Our policies are strictly regulated and designed to ensure the safety of all residents and properties. The assertion that we could "steal pets" is unfounded and misrepresents our intentions and practices. Please provide us with any documents that suggestion otherwise and we will review.
