This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I worked in lending for years. Their practice is unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs!!

I've been trying to make my student loan payment since 12/2123, but apparently the entire company is off for the holidays. I tried to make a payment using their online banking option but it wouldn't accept my username or that I created. After trying numerous times I was kicked out of the system and now I'm going to be 30 days past due. I worked very hard to get my credit score to where it is, and to see it get hurt due to their incompetence is very upsetting.

I cancelled my Aspire credit card with a roughly $20 balance, paying it off. Aspire has since charged my bank account 4 times for that payment. every time I call they say they're sending me a check in the mail, but it's been over a month now and rather than a check I just keep getting charges to my bank account. My next step is to file chargebacks with my bank for these fraudulent charges and contact an attorney.

Received a pre-approval for Aspire credit card in the mail for $1,000. I went online to apply, after running my credit, it said I now no longer am eligible for this and was denied. Why they would deny me when my credit has done nothing but get better and better. Shoot, my husband and I bought a $70,000 boat 2 months ago, my credit is good. So within 1 week of receiving this offer, I'm now no longer eligible. The offer doesn't expire until June 22, it's June 4th. What a scam! No one should apply for this card, everyone should be ware!

this is the worst company ever! i got a letter saying my payment was late and never even received a bill. then the same day i started getting harassing phone calls. i advised them i submitted a payment electronically due the next day, but it would have been nice to know i owed a payment when i’ve not had a payment from them in quite some time due to taking classes. i asked about the grace period after you stop taking a class and i was told that’s only for 1 time over the life of the loan? WHAT? then i asked about the money coming for federal loans…i was told yes, these are federal loans but it doesn’t apply to them…WHAT? i said don’t you think you should communicate this to people? what a joke!

Cosigned for a consolidation loan for my daughter. Aspire actually mails the checks out by snail mail, even though Postmaster Louis DeFnJoy should make anyone see the problem with that. Your "payoff" will be insufficient to pay off the other loans by the time those lenders get it. In addition, with the delay there's a good chance you will get dinged by the original lenders for late payments. This is an asinine way to do business.

This has been the absolute worst company to deal with regarding student loans. I went back and forth with them on why my loans were not showing up in the data base for FSA and why I was denied interest forebearance during Covid and never got a straight answer. I was still intending to pay as I have an IBR arrangement but it would have been nice to at least make a dent in the principal during this time. Nothing from them. Crickets. They were sadly silent in advocating in the best interest of the client. They want their money whether you like it or not. I was too late to consolidate before any potential forgiveness which would have been extremely helpful in these difficult times. I am okay having to pay but to never get past just interest payments due to astronomical interest rate I will forever be swimming in debt and these guys are banking on it. I hope the Fed at least investigates their loan practices and does something to right some wrongs.
