The iPhone 14 you purchased in June 2024 was clearly listed as locked to the AT&T network. As is typical with carrier-locked devices, there may be an unpaid balance from the original account holder, which can affect the phones unlocking eligibility. However, this does not impact the phones ability to function fully on the AT&T network.
We have previously explained this to you and confirmed that the device is operational with AT&T, as advertised. Unfortunately, since the device is outside the return window and was sold in the described condition, we are unable to offer a refund.
Were happy to continue assisting you with any technical questions or service-related issues, but we ask that you please review the original product listing and communications for clarity on the purchase terms.

I am rejecting this response because:I dont use AT&T i need to switch it to T-mobile and was under the impression that i could unlock the phone and do that because you didnt specify that there is a balance on the phone. I have told you many times it is useless to me and AT wont allow me submit a claim because they believe ive tried too many times

To clarify, the phone you ordered was sold on ****** as a network-locked device, specifically locked to AT&T. As noted in the product listing, network-locked devices are not guaranteed to be eligible for unlocking, particularly in cases where the original owner has an unpaid balance with the carrier. This is a common industry practice, and it is the reason why such devices are offered at a reduced price compared to fully unlocked models.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but these phones are legally resold to help reduce electronic waste. Rather than being discarded into landfills, they are repurposed and sold at a discount to give them a second life.

We did receive your return on April 9th; however, the package only contained a charging cable, the device label, and return documentation. Unfortunately, the Galaxy S24 device itself was not included in the return, which is why we were unable to issue a refund.
As we mentioned previously, if you believe the device was included in the return package, we advised submitting an A-to-Z Guarantee claim through ****** so they could investigate and assist further. However, after reviewing the case, we found that no A-to-Z claim has been filed for this order to date, despite your statement that the claim was denied twice.
If you have documentation showing a claim submission or denial, we would be more than happy to review it. We are committed to working with you and ****** to reach a fair and transparent resolution.

Upon further review, weve confirmed that an A-to-Z Guarantee claim was submitted on April 16. However, ****** closed the claim, stating that the order was not eligible under their A-to-Z policy. As a result, we did not receive any notifications from ****** regarding the claim.
We recommend contacting ****** Support directly to better understand why the claim was closed, as they oversee all decisions related to A-to-Z eligibility. I bought an iPhone 15 pro max (renewed) from bay shine trading through ******, and the sim is locked, I have called Amazon, apple and ***** **** told me yes, the phone is locked from them and unless they get the account associated with the phone before they open it. Thank you for your review. Were sorry to hear about the difficulties youve encountered with the iPhone 15 Pro Max purchased through our Amazon storefront.
To clarify, the device you ordered was listed and sold as locked to AT&T only. Nowhere in the product description did we indicate that the phone was unlocked or capable of being unlocked. We always aim to provide clear and accurate information in our listings so that customers can make informed decisions, especially regarding carrier compatibility.
We understand that using the device internationally requires it to be unlocked, and were sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, since the phone is AT&T locked and sold as such, we do not have access to the original AT&T account information required to request an unlock. AT&Ts unlocking policy is governed solely by them, and only the original account holder would be able to initiate that process.
If you intended to purchase an unlocked device, we encourage you to initiate a return through ******. ****** offers a 90-day return window for renewed products, and you are eligible for a full refund within that time frame.

I purchased a refurbished phone from bayshine Trading on January 3. The phone was defective - pixillated illegible screen. I returned the phone using the *** label in the Amazon box provided. The merchant claims not to have received the return and that it should have been returned via ****. The merchant also lied to my credit card company stating that I never raised an issue (I have documentation of our communication about the defective phone) and sent pages of documentation solely to show that the phone was sent. I do not dispute receiving the phone. I do dispute 1) that the phone met the standard of merchantibility required for a product to be usable, and 2) the merchant's representation that they did not receive the phone back.Business Response

I purchased a cell phone on ****** on December ****** which appeared to be sold by a third party ,(I didn't know that ) ****** stated purchase was covered by the A toZ warranty it was not item was sold by the company name ***************** which is also known as Bayshine trading.item took 10 days to arrive to me and was shipped in a box inside a bubble envelope with no protection to protect the phone so when we opened the packaged we realized the phone was damaged we took video of the damage and immediately started a return with ****** an the seller we contacted the seller and they stated to start a return ,no where in the ad does it say we will charge a restocking fee .we returned the phone and a week later we were refunded a portion of the price total purchase was for $855.37 they only refunded a portion an claimed a $398.78 restocking fee.we contacted Amazon and they agreed we should have never been charged the restocking fee especially of that amount.item was returned because we received it damaged an we returned immediately so after weeks of back an forth numerous employees agreed with me that it shouldn't have been charged .so I finally reached someone an they said they would refund it then I received a email saying item arrived to seller damaged so that's why they took $398.78 .the damage was already there that's exactly how we I received it so Amazon refuses to do anything and I am out $398.78 for a item I don't have .Now my belief is that this seller sales damaged products to ****** customers knowing they will start a return an then they charge each an every customer over 50%of the purchase price and most buyers would let this go but I refuse to especially considering I received the phone damaged either via poor packaging or because the seller sent it damaged knowing this is a scam ,after further investigation myself I have seen that multiple ppl have either received stolen or broken phones and this company goes by multiple names on ****** also file *** IC3Business Response

We have researched this issue and found that we do not have any orders from this customer. Additionally, she claimed in her review that the device was purchased from *****************, also known as Bayshine Trading. This statement is in fact false. Our company name on ****** is only Bayshine Trading. ***************** is a separate Amazon seller, in which we have no affiliation with.
This customer has clearly purchased her device from a different Amazon seller and left the negative review for our company by mistake. Please assist us with removing this review.

I placed an order for an iPhone 15 Pro Max on January 24th, 2024, for the amount of $949.99 on ***** I received the phone via mail on January 29th, 2024. The phone functioned properly until mid-November 2024. However, upon visiting the T-Mobile store because my phone service was cut, an employee ran my phone's **** and discovered that "the device is on loan and blocked for nonpayment." This situation contradicts the item description, which promised a refurbished iPhone 15 Pro Max that was unlocked.When the item was sold to me, the seller failed to ensure that the previous owner had paid off the phone. As evidenced by the provided documents, my request for a refund from the seller was refused. This is problematic because I am left with a phone that has no mechanical failures but is unusable due to the blocked service.The outcome I seek from the Better Business Bureau is a resolution to this issue, which includes either a full refund for the purchase or assistance in unblocking the **** so that the phone can be used as intended.
