1 starWorst insurance ever!!!! Someone hit me from behind and I had pictures of damage, placement of cars, a diagram of what happened, the other drivers registration was expired. Somehow the other driver was not at fault and I cant get my car fixed. They dont fight for you at all and give up just to get a claim closed.Embark General Insurance Agency, LLC

While we acknowledge that you provided documentation, in cases where liability is disputed, we are required to review and consider both parties accounts.We want to clarify that we do support your version of the loss, and we have not accepted liability on the other partys behalf, nor are we paying for their damage. The police report did not place fault on either party. We reached out to Commerce on 7/8/2025 to review the claim and left a voicemail on 7/16/2025 to discuss our findings. However, since your policy does not include collision coverage, we are unable to directly assist with repair costs.We encourage you to reach out to the other drivers insurance provider, Commerce, to work through the claim. 1 starI would like to point out one of the worst experiences of my fiancee and I with insurance was with ***************************** from ******* with embark general. We have been trying to submit a simple glass claim ****** my fiancee is autistic and told them over and over it was okay for me to speak on his behalf to help him. This woman disregarded everything was incredibly unprofessional and rude to us. We both sometimes have to travel for work and are behind on everything right now because it has taken weeks to get an appointment and get this straightened out for a simple glass claim.Embark General Insurance Agency, LLC

1 starI came here to share my experience with General Embark, I had an incident with my car, my street was flooded and my car was a total loss, the support took more than a week to release my rental car, it still hasn't been completely resolved, actually, I haven't signed the form yet because it hasn't arrived yet, but due to this whole situation they don't want to renew the rental car, I feel totally frustrated with the service since I always pay my insurance correctly! 1 starMy driver was rear-ended by a an insured driver with this company. Their driver claimed responsiblity. Adjuster came. We have done everything they asked. They wanted a w-9 for a release form. We sent it immediately. Ever since they wont take our calls or respond to numerous emails. I had to call from an unknown number to get them to answer getting the same run around and they want us to go through OUR insurance company to pay for the repairs and let our insurance company chase them for the money. Why should we be subject to penalties or possible increase in policy when the accident was not our fault. The work van is almost finished with the repairs and they basically jsut ghosted us. Completely unproffesional, unwilling to take responsibiltiy for their insured driver, and pay the claim out. Totally unacceptable. We are losing money every day that van is out of service. They said the insureds limit was not enough to cover repairs and our repair shop said they would do it for the limit amount of $10,000. This company is unbelievable. November 9, 2023 BBB of ******* ****************************************************************** RE:Name of Complainant:********************** Name of Our Insured:***************************** Claim Number:2309107756 Date of Loss:September 27, 2023 Company Name:11090 ************************ Dear BBB,Embark General Insurance Agency, LLC is the Program Administrator for the above-referenced insurance policy issued by ************************. The loss was reported on September 29, 2023, by ****************** of Somerset Lawn Doctor. An Investigation began after being reported. There was a coverage issue discovered immediately as this policy was written and bound in *******, however, the loss had occurred in **********. Embark was able to confirm that our insured had no recent address in ******* where the policy was bound. We needed to speak with all parties involved in the loss and obtain an accident report.We were not able to reach our insured until a couple of weeks after the claim was reported. Our insured confirmed hed been living in ********** since prior to the policy inception and had used his fathers address to obtain this ******* insurance policy. Further investigation was needed to determine if material misrepresentation had occurred at the time of this policys inception. We received a call from the complainants body shop on 10/17/23 advising the vehicle had been dropped off at their shop for repairs. Embark advised the shop that coverage and liability were still under investigation at that time. The shop submitted a supplement and called multiple times requesting payment where they were told that investigation was still ongoing due to coverage issue and that the owner may want to go through their own carrier as well as we had limits issue as well if there was coverage for the loss. The adjuster had made attempts to reach the vehicle owner Somerset Lawn Doctor to advise of the coverage issue. Contact was made with Somerset ************************ at which time it was advised that we had a coverage issue in which coverage may not be afforded for this loss. The adjuster received another call from Somerset Lawn Doctor on 11/2/2023 and the coverage issue was reiterated to the vehicle owner Somerset Lawn Doctor. A full coverage investigation was completed by Embark as we were looking for coverage for the loss and needed to speak with several parties and confirm all evidence obtained during the investigation was accurate before we made a final decision for coverage. The investigation was completed, and it was determined that there would be no coverage for this loss as the insured took out a policy in ******* while living in **********, which voids the policy. 1 starIs it possible to give zero stars?! It should be.I was hit by someone who has the General Insurance in May. It's the end of November and I am still awaiting reimbursement. When I finally got someone on the phone two months after the accident, they had no record of the police report or their client's statement, both of which were public record at that point. It is almost as though the company is run by ghosts -- impossible to get anyone on the phone, people constantly coming and going, empty promises. They are literally non-existent. My insurance company has been on their case for months. Hope you never get hit by anyone with the General insurance because you'll never see a dime...why would Shaq endorse such a bogus company?!Embark General Insurance Agency, LLC

1 starI got emabark general through affordable auto insurance was just happy to be able to get insurance I could afford. Not anymore my car a ***** Civic was hit by a truck ram **** double cab. I tried filing a claim online got error messages. I called the number call back during business hours. It was a holiday weekend so Tuesday accident happened on Saturday evening. The rep was apologetic about the inconvenience. I was able to file my claim got my claim number and handlers name and direct line. They sent a tow truck to get my car the have had my car two weeks at this point three weeks from the accident. I called a week after they took the car left a detailed message including my claim number waited a few days called again left another message then called again not to my claim rep just directly to the company was on hold for 30 min got told who my claim was being Handel ebt like I didnt already know. Told the rep I have been trying to get ahold but have not received any response. Was told the claim would be escalated and I would hear back within 24 hours. I asked the status of my claim i was told its under investigation. Received a letter asking for pictures of the car proof of address and a statement from my machanic. They have my car and my address why cant they go take the pictures themselves and do there job and assessment of the car they have it in their possession. I have never had an insurance agency take so long for an assessment or ask for me to basically do there job when they have my car.Embark General Insurance Agency, LLC
