  I am submitting this complaint based on my experience as a long-term tenant (5 years) in a property managed by HMY Realty. During that time, there were no property improvements or upgrades, and maintenance issues were neglected. There was visible mold around every window and repeated ceiling leaks during rainfall. Despite promptly reporting these health and safety concerns, HMY Realty refused to take full responsibility and demanded I cover 50% of the repair costs. Additionally, the owner and staff were consistently disrespectful and unprofessional in communication. This company shows a blatant disregard for tenant rights and property standards. I believe their practices should be reviewed, and I do not recommend them to other renters or property owners.

  It is unfortunate ******** felt the need to submit this review. We have always handled maintenance repairs in a timely manner. We would never NOR have we ever asked her to cover 50% cost of repairs to the home. The fact that she says we show blatant disregard to our tenants is very disturbing! The tenant has been facing financial hardship for a long time and we were patient and have sometimes waited months for rental payments. Our company prides itself with an outstanding service to our tenants and owners. Making such accusations can harm our reputation! We demand the removal of this review to avoid legal actions.

  do I start! This was the worst, I mean the worst tenant landlord experience for me! These people are awful! I was constantly threaten with EVICTION even when paying the late fee! I wish I had read the reviews before moving in! These people are so rude, unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful, true definition of a SLUM LORD! I have never been threaten with eviction in 30 years nor have I ever been evicted! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone renting from this company! ******, Maratha, and **** are despicable, liars, dishonest, rude, unprofessional, unethical, and DO NOT care about their tenants they just want MONEY! Im waiting to go to court on charges they have trumped up! Im NOT paying them a dime until the judge makes the final decision! The living conditions and complex were horrendous! BEWARE AND DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! This is how I lived for a year! Like others stated repairs go unfixed and nothing is done timely but if you are late he comes the nasty l, texts, emails, and calls. I literally blocked their number do to the unprofessional calls and texts I got from *******! They say pictures are worth a millions words! Take a look at these pictures! If you rent from them you are a **** FOOL!

  The tenant's rent was rejected for insufficient funds 3 or more times. Due to this, she had to mail her rent into our office. She has never included the late fee with her rent payment. We waived the late fee for her as a courtesy. In February we told her she had to pay the late fee with her rent. We advised her if she did not include the late fee, we would return the rent and file for an eviction. She never mailed her rent for February. So we filed for the eviction. In addition, she submitted a work order for a leak repair. The leak was repaired. This complaint/review is unjustified.

  I rented from this company for almost 2 years. ***** was my first point of contact.Once I signed my lease HMY was no longer responsive in a timely manner for the remainder of my tenency.***** was great in terms of customer service but she moved on around early in my lease.Once she was gone service took a turn for the worst. I had water damage that left literal water running down the walls and cracks in the walls in multiple places Roaches and rodents frequented the property as it was insulated poorly and it took over 9 months for them to address the issue at all.The most unfortunate portion of my time renting was that the property manager ****, office personnel ****** , and ****** were absolutely terrible at their jobs.They from the moment I signed the lease treated me as if I was on some type of assistance or they were doing a peasant a favor. It was odd behavior from a company with dilapidated properties on their listing and don't take my word, check a few out.Long story long I would encourage anyone who isn't in a hurry to place your dollar votes where you will at the very least be treated respectfully.I did a one year lease and would have renewed but it took the over 7 months to fix it even address my concerns and they were rude every step of the way. I'm thankful to be done doing business with HMY.

  Realtors and property managers are friendly, but will not disclose billing procedures. They will add outrages charges to your bill without warning. They dishonestly charged me over twice as much what I used for water, against our lease agreement. They only dropped the charges after I hired a lawyer.HMY Realty is not prompt in dispatching maintenance workers to fix serious issues. I went without hot water for 2 separate months. Furthermore, they broke their promise in returning my security deposit within 30 days. It took 33 days to receive my money back, and that was only after I told them I spoke with my lawyer and I would bring them to small claims court.0/10 would NOT recommend this business to anyone!!! I spent hundreds of dollars on legal advice just o deal with these thieves and swindlers.
